The order was ready on time, and they made sure to include plastic ware, straw, napkins, and checked off every item on my receipt. I am glad they take the time to review the pickup orders before you leave. I picked up inside the restaurant and it was busy at 6:00 pm. Now, let's talk about this feast: Chicken Fried Steak--crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and smothered in a rich, creamy gravy that could make even the most devoted vegetarian rethink their life choices. Creamy Mashed Potatoes--also generously blanketed in that same glorious gravy, because if you're going to do comfort food, do it right. Green Beans--but not just any green beans, the homemade kind with little bits of bacon that make you feel like someone's grandma made them with love. Dinner Rolls--fluffy, buttery, and downright dangerous. You tell yourself you'll eat one, but then another one magically disappears, and you're left wondering what happened. To top it off, the service was A++. Our waitress was on it--attentive but not hovering, friendly but not fake, and she made sure we had everything we needed while my cousin and I caught up on years of life. And the timing? Perfect. Thrills, a clean establishment, most of the time I went in there I had to wait for the staff to come out from the back. The soda machine issue was not a big deal, they did give us bottled sodas as a substitute. Substitute I charge us the same price as the fountain machines.
