I ordered take out from Olive Garden. I was excited to order my favorite dishes, but all of them were unavailable. Everything that had beef was unavailable to order! The lack of inventory was very disappointing. I then placed an order and was overcharged. I luckily caught the error. I had to call and cancel my order. The process was arduous. I was reluctant to reorder. However, I reordered other items, and the delivery was disorganized. The delivery service was given very clear directions, but the delivery driver acted like they could not find my apartment. I have deliveries weekly without any issues. Our server had no clue what he was doing, taking 20+ minutes to deliver breadsticks and soup, wouldn't ask my if I wanted a refill but made sure to ask my boyfriend and ignore my requests, and argued with me when I voiced we weren't getting what we paid for. There are 2 kinds of people in this world - those who look down their noses at Olive Garden and those who don't. I, for one, am not ashamed to say that I actually love their food and always have. Food snobs be damned! BUT having said that, I don't necessarily love THIS location. In fact, there was a time when I would have refused to even entertain the idea of setting foot in this building. One too many bad experiences here almost sent me over to the anti-Olive garden camp. And by bad experiences I mean, contact-corporate-and-receive-hefty-apologies-with-equally-hefty-giftcards-as-compensation kind of bad. Needless to say, I did give them another chance. Just as I had remembered from long ago, there are too many tables placed too close together. I realize that this is to accommodate the perpetual crowds, however, tightly packing in so many people is going to make for a very loud and less than peaceful environment. But, that's my only complaint. Our server was young, patient and very polite. More importantly though, she was fast and accurate. Within minutes of being seated our table was filled with of all the familiar and delicious fare that Olive Garden is known for. And she kept the food coming. Even my pickiest eater approved of his (kids) meal, which seldom happens. Evidently the cooks are adept at what they do as well! For now, I believe that this location has redeemed itself. First off the cleanliness of the entire restaurant was atrocious. There was dust on our light above our table. They've been there for at least 2 to 3 months. The restrooms had no paper towels, dust, and grime everywhere as well as their vents were completely covered in dust. now for the actual food and beverages extremely overpriced at five dollars a soft drink and or tea the food for $15 for never ending pasta without a protein and then an additional five dollars for protein just seems pretty ridiculous. The food isn't great doesn't taste great at all is made poor, you can tell it's not fresh. I can't recommend this location at all. I do hope that they get some new management in there to fix the problems that it has especially just for cleanliness alone because I've been in health inspector. I recently went in there and was served by Lauren, she was awesome. However, she charged me 2 times and when brought to manager attention (Sean Gough) , who told me it would disappear and was a mistake. I called back a few days later and the charges are still here. Sean wasn't very nice and helpful. He explained that " I could show him my bank statements all day long" but it wouldn't do anything bc he was under the impression he was right. He than got an attitude, which is probably why they have 1-3 tables every day. This isn't how you run a restaurant, and Sean needs to learn better coustmer service. Very disappointed in how he handle things . Will not be going back to a place that heats up their noodles and they still come out freezing cold. read more

This is the best place I have ever ate at. The food wasn't to hot or cold in was just right. Our waitress named Isabel was so nice to me and my family. She gave me more of my drink when I didn't ask which definitely deserve a 5 star. It smelled very good when we walked in and the interior and exterior was beautiful. Surprisingly the wait was only 20-30 minutes for a family of 8. Not too shabby for 7 pm time. Also, they offer 1/2 price wine and beer while you wait. Score!!! We were seated in exactly 25 minutes, and had the best private space. The kiddos were happy to run around and it was nice that they didn't disturb anybody. This is the 2nd time in 3 months that we had a crappy experience at this location. We love Olive Garden but not in Denton! 2weeks ago we ate lunch at the McKinney location. It was delicious and service was great! Wednesday 3/29/23 we tried Denton location. Hoping it would be better. It wasn't! Service was pretty good but food tasted old. The salad was terrible, wilted, old lettuce. No black olives! Mu husbands soup had a long hair in it! The manager comped his meal, but dinner was ruined after the hair. The breadsticks tasted old too! I think they use lunch leftovers for dinner maybe? Just wasn't fresh food. Server was nice and manager was nice too. The quality of this place has gone downhill since I ate here a year or so ago. The servers are lovely but the food was not good, especially for a plate that cost me $20. The chicken was rubbery and a bit dry, and the noodle portion was so sad looking. I barely got any Alfredo sauce with my noodles and it was sort of curdled, too. Just ugh. I could have made it way better myself at home. Also, I don't like the fact that every table now has those little screens on it that show you ads the entire meal if you're not using it. Had my daughters birthday at the Denton Olive Garden on May 1, 2023. She forget and left her birthday card on the table when she left. Called the next day about the card and was told it was there. The problem was that the card had been opened and the money inside the birthday card had been taken. The manager Stephen Yap said he could not accuse his staff of taking the money without prof. He said the next customer or someone other than his staff could have picked up the birthday card and stole the money before turning it in. This is very unlikely, since tables are cleaned and reset before new customers are seated. Mr. Stephen Yap(Manager) said there was nothing I could do except call corporate. This will be the last time Myself and family will visit this Olive Garden. The manager Mr Stephen Yap was very rude and needs more training on how to deal with customers or find a new profession. On top of having money stolen from daughters birthday card, we even left our waiter a $35 tip. I don't blame the staff, but the poor management of this restaurant. Yes you Mr. Stephen Yap. 14 years of experience and that's the best you can do. You should be ashamed of yourself. Please stay away from this restaurant if you care about good customer service. I think we all have been to some Olive Garden, at some point and we all know what the food there is like. Correct it is not authentic Italian, but for what it is, it's pretty simple and tasty. I think this location in particular isn't half bad. I typically go a couple times a year, and throughout all the years I cannot recall a visit standing out as bad. The noodles have always been perfectly al dente, tiramisu always good, service is perfectly acceptable. I usually come in for lunch and take advantage of all you can eat soup, salad, and breadsticks for 6.99, or opt for a mini Alfredo bowl. They will change the noodle for me at no extra charge, and I really appreciate it. On one of my last visits, me and my lunch buddy were both wanting to try one of their new margaritas, but we did not want a whole one so early in the day. The bartender kindly split it into two glasses and it was pretty much an entire margarita for each of us!
