I'm usually a loyal fan of Salata for the food, but today I became a loyal fan of their people. I had a delivery nightmare where the third-party driver (DoorDash/Uber Eats) dropped my food off at a completely different company. Frustrated, I called the store and spoke with Tom. While he explained the delivery policy, he immediately stepped up to make it right by offering to remake my entire order for a fresh pickup. When I walked into the restaurant, I was floored. I'm a regular at the Four Seasons, and the level of hospitality Tom and his team provided was on that exact level. They were incredibly professional, apologized profusely, and treated me with such genuine care that I completely forgot about the earlier delivery mess. My hubby and I stopped in for a quick lunch, conveniently located next to Target so we got an errand done as well. This was our second time in. The first time, I ordered the marinated shrimp and quinoa to go on top of this giant salad. Even thought the bowl is a small, it's filled quite full! Be sure to download the app and print out your receipt so you can scan in your ticket for bonus points that can be redeemed. My birthday had just passed so I had a $19 credit built up. Yes, it can be pricey if you're not selective. If I'd made that type of salad at home, I would definitely have spent more on ingredients. So, it is a nice treat! This time, I was determined to get the most bang for my buck! I used the spring mix, diced beets, pickled okra (too sour), jicama, chickpeas, peas, black beans, edamame, thinly sliced cucumbers, carrots and mushrooms. I topped it off w the lemon vinaigrette, pumpkin seeds, and artichoke hearts. The jicama and pumpkin seeds add a wonderful crunch. The legumes and shrooms pack protein so I avoided the meat at the end. I also love their organic tropical green tea - no ice. My hubby didn't finish his salad. I pushed to finish mine so I'm too full but it is SALAD and I'll be hungry when we have a calorie heavy dinner tonight! We ended up paying $13 for this trip. All of their breads, sesame sticks, cookies look amazing too! Do your body a favor. Get some self care in today! The huge selection of salad and ingredients mean everyone can get what they want. I missed this place when it use to be by UNT. This location is very clean. The toppings were all fresh vegetables/fruit, etc..and they make sure to keep it all stocked. Service was friendly and salad toppings were generous. They mix it all together well with dressings too. My husband and I get the "small" size bowl, but they are big. This is a shout out to Joe Gonzales and the GM of Salata in Denton, who very kindly reached out to me both via email and telephone to apologize for an online order that had two incorrect parts: the type of wrap and putting dressing on the side instead of on the wrap. Honestly in retrospect I feel bad having even complained because it was still delicious, but I'm pregnant and that wrap was something I was craving more than anything so when it came not exactly as ordered I was overly upset about it. Again, it tasted great still and Salata and Joe handled it even better than I could have anticipated. Food is fresh and has healthy options. An array of option toppings available like jicama, bean sprouts, and quinoa. The dressing tasted dress and not heavy. The service was great as well- though there was a line, the assembly line moved quite fast!! The only meh moment for me was the topping ratio when I was going through the line, I would have to ask for more of the topping because the ratio to greens was a lot.
