It seems like it's been years since I have had Olive Garden, but I made an unexpected stop today on my way to lunch at another place. I have to say, I am glad I did! The mood was set from the moment I walked in with the Italian music creating an ambiance that was part relaxing and part appetite stimulating! Once seated my server Will came and introduced himself and took my order. I will have me great service throughout the course of my meal. My Chicken and Gnocchi Soup was a delicious start to my meal. The bowl was so big I was barely hungry when my main course, the Chicken Parmigiana arrived. It arrived so hot I had to let it sit 5 minutes before I could eat it without burning my mouth! Once it was cool enough to eat comfortably it was really tasty!

We have had several great experiences at the Grapevine Olive Garden. Service was friendly and attentive. We were seated quickly and never had to ask for drinks refills. For lunch, we enjoy the bottomless soups and salad. We also get the breadsticks and alfredo sauce. Delicious! The restaurant is clean and comfortable. It's never noisy. Though the restaurant is a chain, it's quality is reliably good. I enjoy the occasional visit.

Second visit and this location has consistently performed well. A party of 3 on a Saturday night was quoted a 30/35 min wait. We were actually seated in about 15/20. The food and service were great! Everything was hot, fresh and came out in an timely manner. There were a lot of huge parties but that did not impact the service of the team. Kudos! I would visit this location again with no hesitation.

Service was phenomenal Lexi was very sweet and frequently checked in on us. The food was nice and hot and tasted fresh and delicious. As an appetizer I got fried mozzarella it was delicious it went perfectly with the marinara sauce. Overall mood was truly relaxing. The tone of the lights and the beautiful scenery was welcoming. I will definitely be coming back.

Got here and they advised there was a 15 min wait and the restaurant was pretty empty. Waited about 10 minutes and we walked into the restaurant and it was pretty empty. They advised that they are short staffed and each waitress had only 3 tables each The waitress was fine and the food was good but the initial entry wasn't good. The total for 2 people was around $45 with no alcohol. Maybe this was a one off but it could have been much better

We split the shrimp scampi and the server was kind enough to bring it on two plates.

Solid service, but mediocre food in an atmosphere that is so timeless that it risks stagnation earns Olive Garden a medium rating from me. I remember Olive Garden seeming upscale. Perhaps my tastes have changed. Actually, I know they have. The problem for me, and possibly benefit to die-hard Olive Garden fans, is that it's *exactly* as I remember it when I first visited in the 80's and thought it was the s***. Who hasn't raved or known others who rave about Olive Garden's breadsticks, bottomless salad, and Pasta Fagioli? I recall this combo being a new and wonderful thing. Upon revisiting Olive Garden for the first time in some years, it seemed like kitsch. Soft, garlic-butter-dusted sticks of bread that are warm, nicely baked, and not unflavorful, but somehow feel like a State Fair gimmick. I would rather have bread I can butter myself. Asking for butter to spread on these is an option. But, the "stick" shape is awkward. The salad tasted oddly sweet and generic to me this visit as well. I added copious Parmesan to up the savory, but the dressing was underwhelming. It's also soggy, like it wasn't freshly made and had been soaking in the dressing for a while. We ordered Shrimp Scampi to split and it came pre-split on two plates, which I appreciated. The flavor was odd, as if some ingredient in the sauce was too strong. I'm not an Italian food aficionado by any stretch. But the strangeness was enough to suggest there might be something wrong with it. My date insisted it was the wine in the recipe. So, I didn't say anything to the server. Now, I'm wishing I would have at least asked. Service was attentive and friendly, though our server was stretched across more tables than usual and missed bringing us some drinks. He was apologetic and quite funny, actually. We are an easy-going crew so no big. He brought an big handful of the standard after-dinner chocolate mints and offered to give us extra drinks to go. At some point in the life of a successful restaurant chain, it's time to re-invent a bit (Steak & Ale, anyone?). I think Olive Garden is there. Some menu tweaks would be enough for me, possibly an additional bottomless bread and salad option more suited to millennial palettes.

Had a great lunch today they have several very affordable options with a unlimited soup or salad bar and an entrée depending on what you select they range in price anywhere from 699-999. I tried the meatball pizza bowl which I thought was unique and different! I enjoyed the salad as always and of course the breadsticks that are also complementary. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They have a table device which made cashing out very easy and if you're in a hurry for a work lunch this is a great quick option! I noticed they have a lot of five dollars drinks available seven days a week all day long as well

Always good service and plentiful salad. Dishes are tasty and served in fairly large portions. I love their meat sauce.

Moving to Texas a while back, a friend said "never underestimate a restaurant in a strip mall"…read more Craftway Kitchen in Southlake isn't exactly in a strip mall, but in the outlot of a few big box retailers. We've driven past Craftway Kitchen more than a few times, always intrigued with a 'we have to try that place sometime'. Saturday night was sometime. Taking our chances as a party of three walk in's, the restaurant was full inside, and there were a few tables open on the patio. I generally don't like to eat on patios, because flies show up, etc. Not at Craftway... not sure what they were doing, but there wasn't a fly or other flying bug around. The patio wasn't just clean, it was meticulous. Welcoming too - It felt very much like an extension of the restaurant. Alex, our waiter was quick to bring water and menus. Returning to take drink orders, a margarita was ordered as was a glass of Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc. Drinks were quickly served. Water was never allowed to become empty. Alex asked if we had ever been to Craftway, we informed him this was our first visit. His ask "any allergies?" to which we said no. He disappeared, returning with an appetizer sampling plate with three items - the Reuben egg rolls, crab stuffed mushrooms, and blue cheese chips. All were fantastic! Three entrees ordered, the Chicken & Fig sandwich, Chicken Milanese and the Cajun pasta with Chicken. Food arrived; each entree was fantastic. Cooked to perfection, flavors were amazing. Dessert, shared, was a bread pudding with ice cream, a perfect finish. Alex never let beverages become empty, delivered superb service. The Chef circulated the room checking on satisfaction and chatting with patrons. Giving Craftway Kitchen a very well deserved 5-star rating. The staff did everything right! Departing, we talked about what we will order next time. We will be back to Craftway Kitchen!

Most of the starers are mouthwatering, even the unexpected Ruben Eggrolls are a delight. Less daring items like the coconut shrimp are equally good. Without a doubt my go to entree is the Beef Wellington. I remember La Madeleine had an affordable one on their menu in the late nineties, this is reminiscent. I do usually swap out the mashed potatoes for the chopped wedge as side, just seems like the classical steakhouse side for the task. The only thing I would say that is lacking is the wine list, despite being very fairly priced. Their most bespoke bottle of red is the Silver Oak Cabernet Sauvignon (2021), which while amazing for the $99.99 they charged, it was fairly flat, lacking the traditional vanilla perfume you'd expect from a pricey California Cabernet Sauvignon. Also took a bottle of GH Mumm Grand Cordon, which also did not taste as anticipated. I think the most plausible explanation might be heat damage, as both wines are usually well regarded but came up short.

They have the various different flavored tea. The Decor, cute, and effective. It's like there is a vibe of trying to be a local restaurant yet they are trying to survive in a corporate world. Now me being a T1D foodie means that I seek out meals comprised of meat and vegetables. Being a diabetic foodie is not fun or easy. My number one midday option is salad. If I were ever to be in a position in the restaurant world where I could Influence the menu, I would definitely make a true meal size salad a common option industry wide. In my opinion, ordering a salad isn't secret code for "I really don't want to eat." This is nothing against the original chophouse in particular because I have a hard time finding a salad at any restaurant that hits the spot. Yes, when we left the restaurant, I was still hungry. My wife didn't enjoy her meal very much because there was way too much salad dressing for her liking. The kids enjoyed it, I think. My little boy will eat just about anything. I never know what my daughter's gonna do in the way of ingesting calories. All I can do is offer her food and see what happens. There was nothing extraordinary about this little place. Unfortunately, for any business in Southlake, I seem to put higher expectations on them when I'm in that area. I don't guess that's fair to anyone involved with whatever kind of business transaction I may find myself dealing with while in that part of town. I would definitely go back there, but I would study the menu a bit more in order to find something that is a bit more filling.

My child ordered the "Sneaky Taziki," which ended up being a dried-out chicken breast with cheese in a tortilla, and he barely touched it. Overall, this feels like a place designed for a more generic take on Greek/Mediterranean food rather than something truly authentic or memorable. Both came with buttery rice, a fresh salad drizzled with olive oil, and yogurt sauce. The chicken was tender and properly seasoned, but the lamb was the highlight. Lamb can easily turn dry or overly gamey if not handled right, but this was juicy, tender, and packed with flavor even when cooked well done, exactly how a good shish kebab should be. I skipped dessert this time, though they offer a few options, and I noticed what appeared to be a buffet setup, which I'm curious to try next. Overall, a solid, well executed Mediterranean meal. I'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu.
