    Great girls' lunch place!

Amazing place with fantastic vegetarian options. Everything was perfect from the atmosphere to the food and service. The portions were very generous, as well! Highly recommend this restaurant if you're wanting good and healthy food.

My go-to! It's the perfect place to go (guilt-free) on an evening when you don't feel like cooking - but still want to eat clean, REAL food. I absolutely love the kids entres and so does my four year old! The ambiance is also casual and relaxing on a weeknight and the staff is always very friendly. Everything I've tried is very good and I especially appreciate that the lemonade is not super sweet.

Such a cute restaurant with many healthy dining options. The decor and landscaping gave a beautiful garden vibe I ordered the Mother Earth Bowl With Tofu and it was delicious and flavorful. There is kombucha on tap and I will try this next time. Excellent addition to the Southlake Town Center. I highly recommend and I will come again.

Nice clean options! I came here to do some studying with a friend and there was plenty of tables and outlets and the atmosphere was welcoming. Ordering was very easy and the workers were very friendly answering any questions I had. The food came out relatively fast tasty.

Flower Child is an organic-style restaurant that prides itself on being hippie-ish. The food is fresh and full of a variety of flavors. I ordered the steak with brown rice and the chile topped sweet potatoes. Very tasty. You order in line, and it's difficult to hear or understand the people taking orders. My friend ordered a chicken and vegetable combo with noodles, but received a kabob dish with no noodles or veggies. I blame that on the difficulty to hear at the registers. They have two kinds of tea and a rose lemonade, where you serve yourself. This area is just next to a place where servers come and go, which makes it convoluted.

Take out during Memorial Day weekend. Ordered the Green Chili queso, Shrimp plate with cauliflower risotto and roasted broccoli. The Green chili queso was so good. The chickpea chorizo added the perfect spice to the white cheddar. It was creamy and very tasty, the flavors and construction was done nicely with the chiles, tomatoes, onions and the like. Must do. The entry was pretty good. The shrimp plate with cauliflower risotto and roasted broccoli. The broccoli was cooked very well, the parmesan flakes added the right flavor. The shrimp was also cooked very well. The cauliflower risotto was bland and could have used some salt or heat to add some flavor. A little hot sauce and mixing all the components seemed to do the trick. Overall good meal that could do to vegetarian, vegan or gluten free very easily.

Flower Child is a welcomed addition to the Southlake Town Center. The service here was good and similar to the Chophouse or a Jason's Deli where you stand in line to put in your order and are given a number to identify where your food is delivered once you find a seat. Fountain drinks at the time I dined here were limited to teas and lemonades. Restaurant was clean and presented a very green hipster vibe. Ordered a couple different items, all of which tasted fresh, but was prepared and delivered surprisingly quick. Well under five minutes, which would bring to mind that it's a similar setup to semi casual restaurants where a lot of the food is already prepped or completely ready to be plated. A lot of the items was giving me a fresher version vibe of options you'd get at a Whole Foods hot buffet line. Food was still good though. Proteins were lightly seasoned and not overly dry. Vegetables tasted fresh and had a crunch that was just above par cooked. Seasoning and sauces were on point.

We went to the soft opening of flower child in Southlake and had a great time (of note, our meal was comped). We started off with their seasonal sangria, which was fantastic as well as the avocado toast. The avocado toast was flavorful and a good consistency. We then got a salmon plate and the rebel wrap. The rebel wrap was amazing and the salmon plate was also well made. Our food came out quick and for a soft launch things were running quite smoothly. We finished off the meal with the lemon cake and chocolate chip cookie. The lemon cake was delicious. The chocolate chip cookie was a bit dry but still solid. Everyone was friendly and the atmosphere inside was nice. This is a great addition to Southlake.

Food was good. I'm a sous chef and I know food. So all the small details were well thought out. Service was ok. Come to Chicago area! Open a restaurant here! Bang beef I think it was called. Loved the texture and flavors!

Once again, this was a wonderful Yelp event. Kendall and Postino's, thank you very much…read more We chose to visit around the time of opening. After noon, you can expect the crowd to significantly increase and it will become busy. We ran into that, towards the end of our visit. With the increase in traffic, it was nice to be tended by more than one waiter. I didn't think about it then, but I would have loved to tip the second person, as well. When going to Postino's, I always try to get something new and they never fail to impress. Drink: The Mockingbird (Mocktail) - bright pineapple, a touch of Italian orange, and toasted almond bitters. This was very good and is something I'd get again. The Board: Brie, Apple & Fig Spread - this is a repeat for me, I absolutely love it. The apples are always fresh, crisp, and juicy. This is so perfect! Prosciutto Di Parma, Fig & Mascarpone - another repeat, I can't go to Postino's without having this on my board. Mushroom & Mascarpone - If you're a lover of mushrooms, you'll enjoy these little bites. I did notice, we did not get the green onions this time around and I was okay with that. They were removed, due to the current outbreak. Great thinking, Postino's! Salami & Pesto - This always closes the board for me, I love this combination. Although, I will add, I think a different type of salami would work best with this combination. West Coaster Panini - (Smoked ham, smashed avocado, arugula, roasted garlic aioli, pickled red onion, Calabrian chili, feta cheese. For my side, I chose the tomato soup, my goodness, was it good. I must say, it is the best tomato soup, I've ever had. It was creamy, packed with flavor, and complimented my panini so well. Also, they add cheese tortellinis to the soup as well. So, good! This was very delicious, the ham stood out and wasn't muted. However, I think I will get another bread next time. I chose the focaccia, it was a bit too much bread for that particular sandwich. I will admit, it doesn't beat their prosciutto and brie panini; that sandwich is divine. Hot Donut Dots - (House made ricotta donut holes with salted butter chocolate, caramel and vanilla glaze dipping sauces.) These are superb and packs a lot in one bite. The cream in the middle is so smooth and full of flavor, but is very heavy. I'm not a cookies and milk person, but this dessert craves a tall glass of milk. They were hot, fresh, and I appreciate the fact that even when fried, they were not swimming in grease. The vanilla dipping sauce was my go-to, of the three sauces. They did well with this dessert, it hit all of the bases. Postino's is a great place to visit with friends, a date, or even as a solo-day/night out. They are one of my top 5 restaurants and I don't see that changing, ever!

Moving to Texas a while back, a friend said "never underestimate a restaurant in a strip mall"…read more Craftway Kitchen in Southlake isn't exactly in a strip mall, but in the outlot of a few big box retailers. We've driven past Craftway Kitchen more than a few times, always intrigued with a 'we have to try that place sometime'. Saturday night was sometime. Taking our chances as a party of three walk in's, the restaurant was full inside, and there were a few tables open on the patio. I generally don't like to eat on patios, because flies show up, etc. Not at Craftway... not sure what they were doing, but there wasn't a fly or other flying bug around. The patio wasn't just clean, it was meticulous. Welcoming too - It felt very much like an extension of the restaurant. Alex, our waiter was quick to bring water and menus. Returning to take drink orders, a margarita was ordered as was a glass of Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc. Drinks were quickly served. Water was never allowed to become empty. Alex asked if we had ever been to Craftway, we informed him this was our first visit. His ask "any allergies?" to which we said no. He disappeared, returning with an appetizer sampling plate with three items - the Reuben egg rolls, crab stuffed mushrooms, and blue cheese chips. All were fantastic! Three entrees ordered, the Chicken & Fig sandwich, Chicken Milanese and the Cajun pasta with Chicken. Food arrived; each entree was fantastic. Cooked to perfection, flavors were amazing. Dessert, shared, was a bread pudding with ice cream, a perfect finish. Alex never let beverages become empty, delivered superb service. The Chef circulated the room checking on satisfaction and chatting with patrons. Giving Craftway Kitchen a very well deserved 5-star rating. The staff did everything right! Most of the starers are mouthwatering, even the unexpected Ruben Eggrolls are a delight. Less daring items like the coconut shrimp are equally good. Without a doubt my go to entree is the Beef Wellington. I remember La Madeleine had an affordable one on their menu in the late nineties, this is reminiscent. I do usually swap out the mashed potatoes for the chopped wedge as side, just seems like the classical steakhouse side for the task. The only thing I would say that is lacking is the wine list, despite being very fairly priced. Their most bespoke bottle of red is the Silver Oak Cabernet Sauvignon (2021), which while amazing for the $99.99 they charged, it was fairly flat, lacking the traditional vanilla perfume you'd expect from a pricey California Cabernet Sauvignon. Also took a bottle of GH Mumm Grand Cordon, which also did not taste as anticipated. I think the most plausible explanation might be heat damage, as both wines are usually well regarded but came up short.

They have the various different flavored tea. The Decor, cute, and effective. It's like there is a vibe of trying to be a local restaurant yet they are trying to survive in a corporate world. Now me being a T1D foodie means that I seek out meals comprised of meat and vegetables. Being a diabetic foodie is not fun or easy. My number one midday option is salad. If I were ever to be in a position in the restaurant world where I could Influence the menu, I would definitely make a true meal size salad a common option industry wide. In my opinion, ordering a salad isn't secret code for "I really don't want to eat." This is nothing against the original chophouse in particular because I have a hard time finding a salad at any restaurant that hits the spot. Yes, when we left the restaurant, I was still hungry. My wife didn't enjoy her meal very much because there was way too much salad dressing for her liking. The kids enjoyed it, I think. My little boy will eat just about anything. I don't guess that's fair to anyone involved with whatever kind of business transaction I may find myself dealing with while in that part of town.
