Kids Mac and cheese, kids burger with sweet potato fries
    Olivia E.

I don't frequent this location often but was in the area with the kids. It's such a great lunch spot with affordable and tasty options for the entire family. The bonus is the outdoor fenced in playground for the kids. You have both options to eat indoors or sit outside while watching the kids. After, finish up your errands with a little grocery shopping. I saw a sign they had live bands I think on Fridays. But definitely check out this spot. Lots of room for large groups too. Enjoy!

The central market burger is thick and juicy. I requested french fries but noticed one sweet potato fry was included. French fries were slightly crisp and sweet potato fry had a hint of sweetness. I will order a side of sweet potato fries' next time. Both were a great addition to the burger. The burger came with a good portion of vegetables. Plus, I added extra onions for no additional charge. The cafe has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. All the food items individuals ordered looked appetizing. Many customers ordered in-house, and meals were presented on ceramic plates and bowls. There's a drink station and a condiments station on opposite sides. Service was friendly and professional. I was sent text messages while I shopped. I was notified when my meal was being prepared and when it was ready for pickup. The cafe is a great spot to have a meal, especially if you want a nice restaurant-style meal without having to go anywhere else before or after you shop.

    Turkey club with fruit
    Vy N.

Star 1: How was the service and wait time? -Service was excellent! He was patience and attentive to our needs. We got through the line fairly quick and received our food within 10 minutes. Star 2: How were the portions relative to the price? - Portions were decent. I ordered the turkey club and it was definitely more meat than veggies. With a side of fruit in a cup. I also ordered the chicken club and portions were excellent, paired with a side of fries. Star 3 and 4: How was the food? - My turkey sandwich was great, everything was in order and it didn't look sloppy. The chicken club was over cooked and was very dry, it was unbearable to continue eating it. You can tell the fries came out of the frozen section. Star 5: Would I come back? -Yes and no. For a quick meal I probably would but avoid the chicken! My final score is 3.5

Less than $9!? Best deal in Southlake
    Christopher D.

....so I haven't kept count, but it's safe to say they're NOT PREPARED at opening time more than they are ready..and that's gotten old. They've also got some reason changed the migas plate, removing the hash browns, and shrinking the portion of eggs... BOOOO! What used to be the best things for breakfast early in Southlake just got a little more mediocre.

Always good to come and hang out, letting the kids play while grabbing a bite to eat before going grocery shopping.

She led me back to the table with my friends and created some small talk on the way, so that was a nice change of pace, considering many people just point you on your way. We were seated near the back which seemed to be somewhat like an open kitchen feel, which I actually thought was pretty cool. Our waitress was very fast and helpful with picking out our foods based on our likes. Once the food came out, everyone seemed to really enjoy their meals, including myself. We started the table off with the biscuits and fried green tomatoes (demolished!). I kept it simple with the chicken and waffles (delicioius and crispy), which was a HUGE helping (yum!). Others at my table enjoyed the the shrimp and grits and WB chicken sandwich. No complaints heard from them! Overall, I really enjoyed the ambiance, the food, the service, and the experience I had for my first time there. Would come back again for dinner to see if there is a difference.

Butter and honey made it a good appetizer * The chicken tenders were crisp and juicy and I love to dip mine in gravy versus a sauce so this was perfect. * Thought the greens were flavorful and a nice side. *Chicken and waffle was a nice plate- same chicken tenders as above. *Nice cocktail list- as they have a full bar. What could have been better. *Booth seating for 6 was a little crowded but not a big issue. * Was a little pricey but considering the area and it was good, not a big deal.

Most of the starers are mouthwatering, even the unexpected Ruben Eggrolls are a delight. Less daring items like the coconut shrimp are equally good. Without a doubt my go to entree is the Beef Wellington. I remember La Madeleine had an affordable one on their menu in the late nineties, this is reminiscent. I do usually swap out the mashed potatoes for the chopped wedge as side, just seems like the classical steakhouse side for the task. The only thing I would say that is lacking is the wine list, despite being very fairly priced. Their most bespoke bottle of red is the Silver Oak Cabernet Sauvignon (2021), which while amazing for the $99.99 they charged, it was fairly flat, lacking the traditional vanilla perfume you'd expect from a pricey California Cabernet Sauvignon. Also took a bottle of GH Mumm Grand Cordon, which also did not taste as anticipated. I think the most plausible explanation might be heat damage, as both wines are usually well regarded but came up short.

Both were excellent, although you shouldn't expect the pot pie to be a major filler; though the unique flaky top was a different twist from the usual expectations that come with a pot pie. The thing I enjoyed most about this place is how friendly all the staff were and on top of that they even gave me a coupon for $20 off the next visit. I am eagerly anticipating my next visit as I really want to try the Beef Wellington!
