I ordered a salad and it only filled half the bowl. This is terrible for a $14.00 salad. Too many other choices in town to go back again.

Love the ambiance, the place is extremely clean! We tried the buffalo and Cobb Salad, both were so tasty, healthy, fresh and perfect size. Try the aguas frescas. This place is a healthy option! You must try!

RIAN!!! Ah thank you so much for making my first time here amazing! He did not fail to make me feel welcome! He went ABOVE AND BEYOND to show me all the sauces and different meats! He is wonderful! A first time has turned into many! Thanks Rian!

10/24/22: Located in the Wyndham Plaza, a little outdoor strip mall on the far end of the center (if you're looking at UPS, it's on the left side, end of parking lot). They make your food to order, and you have a choice of pre-made or custom bowls. The prices are a bit high for being an order at the counter type eatery. But then again, everything is priced so high nowadays. I miss the days of low prices! The bread & chips (complimentary) were both stale. Our bowls, taste wise, were decent. The drinks were blah & way overpriced at over $3/can! It's nice to have a healthier alternative, but at this price point, all of our food should've been fresh. But I'll give them props for having high end soap & lotion in their bathrooms lol! And the ambiance is nice. So the 3 star button is mainly because we paid about $40 for not 100% fresh food at a "fast casual" place. I don't mind paying alot for food if it's great. Having said that, it's a decent option in Southlake.

Horrible, I was handed this watery ice after waiting 10 min and told the blender was in its last leg

Moving to Texas a while back, a friend said "never underestimate a restaurant in a strip mall"…read more Craftway Kitchen in Southlake isn't exactly in a strip mall, but in the outlot of a few big box retailers. We've driven past Craftway Kitchen more than a few times, always intrigued with a 'we have to try that place sometime'. Saturday night was sometime. Taking our chances as a party of three walk in's, the restaurant was full inside, and there were a few tables open on the patio. I generally don't like to eat on patios, because flies show up, etc. Not at Craftway... not sure what they were doing, but there wasn't a fly or other flying bug around. The patio wasn't just clean, it was meticulous. Welcoming too - It felt very much like an extension of the restaurant. Alex, our waiter was quick to bring water and menus. Returning to take drink orders, a margarita was ordered as was a glass of Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc. Drinks were quickly served. Water was never allowed to become empty. Alex asked if we had ever been to Craftway, we informed him this was our first visit. His ask "any allergies?" to which we said no. He disappeared, returning with an appetizer sampling plate with three items - the Reuben egg rolls, crab stuffed mushrooms, and blue cheese chips. All were fantastic! Three entrees ordered, the Chicken & Fig sandwich, Chicken Milanese and the Cajun pasta with Chicken. Food arrived; each entree was fantastic. Cooked to perfection, flavors were amazing. Dessert, shared, was a bread pudding with ice cream, a perfect finish. Alex never let beverages become empty, delivered superb service. The Chef circulated the room checking on satisfaction and chatting with patrons. Giving Craftway Kitchen a very well deserved 5-star rating. The staff did everything right! Departing, we talked about what we will order next time. We will be back to Craftway Kitchen!

Most of the starers are mouthwatering, even the unexpected Ruben Eggrolls are a delight. Less daring items like the coconut shrimp are equally good. Without a doubt my go to entree is the Beef Wellington. I remember La Madeleine had an affordable one on their menu in the late nineties, this is reminiscent. I do usually swap out the mashed potatoes for the chopped wedge as side, just seems like the classical steakhouse side for the task. The only thing I would say that is lacking is the wine list, despite being very fairly priced. Their most bespoke bottle of red is the Silver Oak Cabernet Sauvignon (2021), which while amazing for the $99.99 they charged, it was fairly flat, lacking the traditional vanilla perfume you'd expect from a pricey California Cabernet Sauvignon. Also took a bottle of GH Mumm Grand Cordon, which also did not taste as anticipated. I think the most plausible explanation might be heat damage, as both wines are usually well regarded but came up short.

They have the various different flavored tea. The Decor, cute, and effective. It's like there is a vibe of trying to be a local restaurant yet they are trying to survive in a corporate world. Now me being a T1D foodie means that I seek out meals comprised of meat and vegetables. Being a diabetic foodie is not fun or easy. My number one midday option is salad. If I were ever to be in a position in the restaurant world where I could Influence the menu, I would definitely make a true meal size salad a common option industry wide. In my opinion, ordering a salad isn't secret code for "I really don't want to eat." This is nothing against the original chophouse in particular because I have a hard time finding a salad at any restaurant that hits the spot. Yes, when we left the restaurant, I was still hungry. My wife didn't enjoy her meal very much because there was way too much salad dressing for her liking. The kids enjoyed it, I think. My little boy will eat just about anything. I never know what my daughter's gonna do in the way of ingesting calories. All I can do is offer her food and see what happens. There was nothing extraordinary about this little place. Unfortunately, for any business in Southlake, I seem to put higher expectations on them when I'm in that area. I don't guess that's fair to anyone involved with whatever kind of business transaction I may find myself dealing with while in that part of town. I would definitely go back there, but I would study the menu a bit more in order to find something that is a bit more filling.

The biggest issue was that everything was very salty -- to the point where it was hard to finish the meal. I had the street gyro (lamb and beef), and while the texture was fine, the seasoning overwhelmed the dish. My child ordered the "Sneaky Taziki," which ended up being a dried-out chicken breast with cheese in a tortilla, and he barely touched it. Overall, this feels like a place designed for a more generic take on Greek/Mediterranean food rather than something truly authentic or memorable. There's nothing outright bad about it, but nothing really stands out either. It's fine, just not somewhere I'd go out of my way to visit again. 3 Stars, right down the middle.
