What a great concept but this location is seriously lacking in reading skills. Every time I order with a substitution, whomever is preparing my pickup order COMPLETELY IGNORES the details. For instance, today I ordered the chicken bacon ranch salad with roasted chicken instead of blackened chicken. You would think that would be an easy substitution, but my salad came with blackened chicken. Whenever I have contacted them regarding their mess ups, I have left messages or sent notices through their website, but no one ever gets back to me. Went to this place for the first time today after my stylist recommended it. I fell in love with the whole place! I had Faith as my salad maker and she was delightful and so very helpful! Showed me how to put the APP on my phone so I could order in the future.. got my order to go this time but next time I will eat there... very inviting area..ordered a smoothie and it was delicious too!!! 5 stars all the way around!!! Amidst the crowded salad restaurant space in the area, C&G stands out for me for a couple of reasons: 1) They have quite a number of different salad recipes, and this list changes. Some of my favorites are the "No Prob Cobb" and "Squash Goals". They are happy to customize anyway you wish, too. They also have an interesting assortment of self-serve drinks - not your typical (Coke) soda fountain (in fact, they don't have normal sodas). 2) The prices are reasonable-ish. Yes, you are going to pay ~$15 for a salad, but trust me it is a lot of food and you WILL feel full if you eat it all. 3) The atmosphere is clean and hip. I just went there. Waited 5 minutes for one of the 2 young girls working there to take my order. Finally decided to leave after being ignored. Then one of them said she would help when I was almost out the door. Ordered a Southwest Salad and had them substitute black beans for the pickled onions. I have no idea what they made me but it's not the Southwest salad that I have have over a dozen times. When i got to the counter I asked the girl if she added black beans. She responded I thought you didn't want black beans. Told her to forget it. She asks me if I want a bag. I said yes. She doesn't get me a bag. They seriously need to drug test there. That was a pathetic experience and not my first at that store. I won't be going there. I'll get salads at Kroger. At least they dont mess up order for $15 Salads. 10/24/22: Located in the Wyndham Plaza, a little outdoor strip mall on the far end of the center (if you're looking at UPS, it's on the left side, end of parking lot). They make your food to order, and you have a choice of pre-made or custom bowls. The prices are a bit high for being an order at the counter type eatery. But then again, everything is priced so high nowadays. I miss the days of low prices! The bread & chips (complimentary) were both stale. Our bowls, taste wise, were decent. The drinks were blah & way overpriced at over $3/can! It's nice to have a healthier alternative, but at this price point, all of our food should've been fresh. But I'll give them props for having high end soap & lotion in their bathrooms lol! And the ambiance is nice. So the 3 star button is mainly because we paid about $40 for not 100% fresh food at a "fast casual" place. I don't mind paying alot for food if it's great. Tried Crisp and Green on a vacation and really loved it! Couldn't wait to try it back home. This location was a real disappointment. Previously, the protein was substantial. From coming to your table to ask how you are doing, to taking your dishes when you have completed your meal, this place rocks! Additionally, today there was quite a long line to order. Dangerously Loud! I would give this 5 stars if it were delivery but it loses 3 stars for having to go inside the place. The food is great and the staff was very nice but the noise at lunchtime is obnoxious. The building is one of those new open concept high ceiling affairs with hard white surfaces everywhere. With nothing to absorb or dampen the sound it becomes uncomfortably loud. I didn't have a dB meter but it had to be closing in on 85dB. No one can hear anything, you have to basically yell your order and they still can barely here you. Actually sitting down to eat with the cacophony of noise around you is exhausting. The staff is going to end up with hearing loss at sustained levels like that. Run some white noise generators and add some soft surfaces or sound absorption panels and this place might actually be a decent spot. Until then, I definitely won't be going back. read more

Based out of Minnesota, this is a franchise operation. The concept is good. Fresh salads and grain bowls in a clean environment. All the menu items are clearly marked with ingredients and calorie contents. While you can request certain items withheld from your dish or bowl, they will charge you for anything extra like say, extra black beans. Favorites thus far are the 'No Prob Cobb' and the 'Fiesta Bowl'. Having been here several times since it's opening, once through the drive thru, the drive thru system is very efficient. Also they don't offer an option to clean off your table and there have been dirty bowls on tables in recent visits. If there was a complaint it would be they don't offer organic options. Maybe this place is better when eating inside. I've now tried online orders three times, first time was a fabulous grain bowl, next two were disappointing. Ordering online seems to be an issue, twice the orders weren't even started at pickup time. Tonight it was a nearly empty store so it wasn't due to being slammed. Tonight's order was started after I inquired at the pickup window, then a staff member came out to tell me one of the ingredients was out but she was cooking more and it would be ready in 8 minutes. I opted to substitute instead of waiting. If this was an amazing $15 salad then these kind of blips wouldn't matter, but it's just not. At all.
