I called and ordered in because I wanted it a certain way and the website does not allow that flexibility. I spoke with a woman and finished my order feeling the utmost confidence this time I was going to get a good order. My order did ask for extra Alfredo on the side; not only did I not get the extra (btw, I had no problem being charged extra for the sauce) I barely had any Alfredo on my pasta and I was charged an extra $3.29 to switch out my spaghetti for the fettuccine Alfredo from the start. Came here as treat and date for myself on Thursday. This was my first time at an Olive Garden in about two years, so I decided to check it out after seeing numerous commercials about their buy one take one. I sat in their empty bar area and checked out their menus. I decided on the shrimp scampi to eat and the spaghetti with meat sauce to take home. Although I noticed in small print that it said breadsticks and soup and/or salad were not included in the take out portion. My waitress was nice enough to tell me that the sides were unlimited and I can ask for more and take home what I cannot eat. So, I decided to go with my order and I also added a glass of white wine as I was treating myself. They brought the salad out and it tasted like the usual Olive Garden mixed salad and the breadsticks tasted the same as well. The shrimp scampi was popping hot and I asked for a sprinkle of parmesan cheese. It barely helped the flavor of the pasta, shrimp, and asparagus. There was not a lot of spice or flavor otherwise unfortunately. I was very hungry, so I did eat about a third of the dish. Most of the dish was the angel hair pasta, which did have a nice wine sauce, which was light, but it again did not have much flavor. I did end up taking home a lot of food and making it my own. I added spiced and more vegetables and it made such a big difference. I still feel like the best things at Olive Garden is their soup, salad, and breadsticks. I definitely stand by that! read more

If zero was an option i'd give them that. Was just there for lunch with my colleagues. We had just gotten the salad and bread sticks when my colleague noticed a huge roach crawling on the post behind me. I immediately screamed and got out of the booth... this 3 inch roach proceeded to crawl in the booth and up the wall. Wait staff walked by in the midst of our freak out as if it was a normal occurrence and didn't acknowledge is screaming roach. The manager approached the booth as we were leaving, she almost turned around as she noticed we were walking out. I asked if she were the manager, she stated yes. I told her there is a huge disgusting roach, cancel our order and we are not paying for the salad and drinks. She was trying to hush me, however all patrons should be made aware of this likely infestation. The manager stated in a whispering voice she would call someone to take care of it...not at all startled or bothered by the massive roach. A clear indication to me it was not her first encounter with huge roaches in that restaurant. The health department should be called to Olive Garden...in fact I will probably make them aware of this. This place is disgusting and I will never be a patron of any Olive Garden again. The lady at the other end was so rude, like she was hurrying me up on the phone, I was still ordering and she was already asking me my name. I mean, she could just wait for me to tell her all my orders before she just cut me off .I told her cancel my order and I hung up. I was so mad!! Don't ever call this place to order anything to go. I am not sure why most of the people think that love stays in Italy and Venice. I feel its a over-hyped statement. It was valentines's day and my wife says lets have a Italian dinner. The restaurant which comes in mind for most of the people in USA almost instantly is Olive Garden obviously. This place is located near the Irving Mall. Getting to this place using GPS is very easy and there is plenty of parking. As we stepped in we were shocked by the wait. It was a 50 minute wait across most of their branches. We decided to wait and were finally seated in 25 minutes. We ordered for some soup and Chicken Parmigiana. Well also ordered for Shrimp as an appetizer. The taste of each of the item was really awesome . The shrimp and the soup especially. The cold coffee was amazing too. One of the best ever actually. The only problem was that the place where we were seated had the cleaning mops and everything placed which felt a little unhygienic. Also there was constant sound from the kitchen heard which definitely ruined what was supposed to be a romantic dinner. The staff was way too friendly and inviting. Robert was the staff who served us. He was really cool and helped us order our dish by suggesting us on some of their cuisine. The price of the dishes were a little on the higher side. I feel it's definitely worth a visit but certainly not worth the wait. read more

This olive garden is pretty close to my apartment and I was really craving their breadsticks so off we went! My boyfriend and I had not been in some time so we decided to give it a try. The host sat us promptly. The server swung by to greet us on her way to another table which was appreciated. Our server Latoya was hilarious, fun and fast. We got our appetizer with our soups and bread. I had not had the lasagna fritta appetizer in ages so we ordered a sampler with calamari and lasagna fritta. Sadly they were not as good as I remembered. The calamari was nice a crispy and I liked the spicy ranch it came with. Latoya joked around with us and other tables which made the dining experience more enjoyable. I never ordered the lasagna at olive garden. The sauce was a bit sweeter than I hope but still enjoyable when paired with the breadsticks. Overall it was a nice experience an I'm sure we'll return. read more
