I grew up being obsessed with the lasagna. So I ordered it for the millionth time. Unfortunately, it didn't satisfy me the way it used to. It did not taste fresh. And it was also less flavorful than I remember. Also, I remember the bread being brought out with having to ask. We had to ask for bread and salad. I got the veggie soup which was decent, no complaints. I ordered a Blue Capri to drink(because it has my name on it duh LOL!). I haven't stepped foot in an Olive Garden before covid, Lol. But my son wanted Olive Garden for his birthday, so that is where we went! To my surprise!..It was very enjoyable. I decided to get the classic tour of Italy, and everything was pretty good, consistent. Bread still yummy but the salad was drenched in the Italian dressing, a little too overpowering for my taste buds, but the service was great and the establishment was clean and well presenting. A lot of hate for this place but I think it's always been this way for all Olive Gardens. You get what you pay for --- this is NOT a big upscale restaurant. It's a simple Italian(-ish) place that is not too expensive. Go in with that in mind and you'll be fine. The simple soup, salad, and bread rolls for lunch is fantastic. I've been doing this for years and have never been disappointed. Our waitstaff was great, both hosts and servers. Will go again when we're in the area. read more

This may be the one location that has good customer service from the front of the house to the back. My sew sisters and I have been here now twice, and each time, we have been greeted by each of the host staff as well as our servers. The food here is amazing and freshly made.our last visit, I had an issue with my drink, and KeKe was able to change it without incident. read more

Olive Garden is always consistent! I have it 4/5 stars for what it is! I get the shrimp scampi and my sister got the tour of Italy! The food was super yummy! We tried the sangria and did not like it at all, I've had it at a number of other Olive gardens and it was great but here it wasn't. The manager was very accommodating and replaced our sangria and we opted for glasses of wine and we each liked those! So surprisingly, my wife and I have always liked The Olive Gardens food even though we come from Ny/Philly area where Italian food is king, but I got to say, our dinner tonight was just so wonderful. *Updated review* Based on a recent visit, I was pleased with my take out order! I placed the order via their website, parked in a curbside spot, clicked "here" upon my arrival. A few minutes later, an employee came to my car with my delicious pasta. I ordered a chicken alfredo which came with a side salad and their famous breadsticks! It was a lot of food - enough for two meals, which is what I wanted. I wasn't planning to cook during the snow storm. O is for Olive Garden: Continuing my alphabet series and struggled with O. I've been to Laurel Olive Garden twice. Once was in 2015 for never-ending pasta bowl. My friend met me over here since he loved the never-ending pasta bowl, and this location was relatively close to my work. That was my first experience with the never-ending pasta bowl. Normally, they give a big bowl initially and then smaller bowls after that. My friend had the smart idea of getting a small bowl to start so he could try more different ones. The server was very nice and accommodating. I visited again on Sunday, January 2 on a 2nd date with a woman from online. It was a very good date. However, after the 3rd date I felt she wasn't a great match for me plus there was another woman, who I was more invested in (which I think I might make my P review). As for Olive Garden, the server was friendly and the food was good. I especially enjoy the salad & breadsticks. Overall, I'd recommend this location. read more

I ordered carry out with curbside pickup as I discovered I had an unused gift card. I ordered the carbonara pasta and the chocolate brownie lasagna. The pasta was good and came with salad and breadsticks. There was plenty of food for just myself that I could have lunch the next day. The dessert was a bit disappointing but only because of the expectations based on that name. It didn't taste like brownie at all and although very sweet was not a good sweet if that makes sense. It was sweet in that there was clearly lots of sugar but almost bitter. The frosting in the layers could have been a bit more fluffy and that may have helped. Normally I'd pass on dessert altogether but have been going through this insane sweet tooth craze- that could only end in disappointment. Curbside service was excellent. Easy to follow instructions and let them know I was there. The lady was a rock star coming out with 3 orders and delivery I assume in the order we arrived. I went in and day at the Bar , when I tell you the level of customer service received was unmatched in Laurel. I opted for the Italian margarita for my drink oppose to a full portion of the moscato . The Italian margarita has Ameretto in it which reminds me of a Cadilac margarita which has grand mariner in it , delicious . First came out the delicious salad wit all the best fixings inside and grated cheese to your liking on top, paired with garlic breadsticks. I ordered the tour of Italy , which consist of three different signature dish samples . So the first was lasagna , good great flavor , sauce was awesome , second was the chicken parmigiana tender juicy , the last was Alfredo , very good . Ewe the food was so bland! Their menu seems to drastically vary compared to Virginias menu. No one finished their food. The grilled chicken margherti didn't come with pasta. My Wife and I had a bad experience here. She wanted Italian and said let's try Olive Garden. I was hesitant because we have been here before and really not enjoyed it but maybe they have gotten better I thought. Boy was I wrong. My Wife ordered the Zuppa Toscana, and I ordered the Calamari. I start here because this is where the good part ends. We both enjoyed this part of our meal. She said the soup was really good and we both agreed the calamari was cooked perfectly as well as seasoned nice. Things were looking up and I was excited for our main course. My Wife ordered the Trip to Italy (Italian trio w/ Lasagna, Alfredo, and Chicken Parm). The large looked and tasted old. I want really sure what it was when it came out because it looked as though as the chicken parm. Since I mentioned chicken parm, that was scrunch your mouth up salty. I had to drink so much water after a couple bites. The Alfredo was old, noodles were hard and crunchy and it was just poor presentation all around. I ordered the chicken parm with spaghetti and the same thing on my plate. The chicken parm was overcooked and super salty and the noodles were hard and crunchy. I was so so disappointed. Even the salad want great, soggy lettuce and way too much dressing. I ate bread sticks and calamari for dinner that night. We spoke with them manager and he took off the entree's. I still paid for the soup, calamari and the salad. Which in hindsight I should have just been comped completely for such a bad experience, but whatever. Came in w bf and 2 kids, so a total fo 4 on a weekday night. The place wasn't busy. There was 1 other table in our section. They sat us near the bar despite kids, but ok sure. Mistake 1 Our server took a while to come to the table. The kids are hungry and cranky. We order their food first and she comes back w drinks. Cool. Then little one throws up and she is NO where to be found to get napkins so I have to ask the to go people. Mistake 2 I love lemons in my water. Took 3 times to ask to get them. She comes after we are cleaned back up and gets the kids their food. Kids are now ravishing and she brings their food. No salad no breadsticks. Kids have now finished their food. And they are pretty slow eaters. Salad breadsticks and appetizer come out as they are finishing. Followed shortly by our entrees. So we are eating and no one has drinks, we are outta breadsticks which is the youngest favorite. Server back to being MIA. Our food has obviously been sitting a while because the noodles are hard. Mistake 3 To top it off we get home and big kid throws up. So not sure if it was something there, the food to what but both kids puking in 2 hours is pretty abnormal. Service was terrible. All Olive Gardens are the same: mediocre food and horrible service, but the unlimited soup/salad and breadsticks keep you coming back. Most days. We arrived for a late dinner a little after 9pm. Despite calling ahead and there being no wait, when we arrived and checked in, they said they had to get our table ready. We were seated soon afterward and handed menus, then the hostess advised that our waiter would be with us shortly. They have these digital ordering systems on all of the tables to order appetizers and to page the waiter, but they're kind of useless. After sitting a while and getting thirsty (no drinks yet) and hungry, we paged the waiter using the table tablet and a blinking red light went off. It blinked and blinked and blinked and nothing. We pushed it again to call for the waiter. More blinking and no success to call over a waiter. Eventually the waitress came over with waters and took our orders. When we asked if our machine worked since it kept blinking and nobody came over, she said they just blink but don't send any notifications anywhere. If this is the case, and the staff haven't been trained to acknowledge the flashing red lights, the system is pointless, a waste of table space, and a waste of money. We placed an order of the stuffed mushrooms for our appetizer using the digital tablet, but it doesn't let you order your entrees. The stuffed mushrooms were out quickly (so I guess the machines aren't a *total* waste). I ordered the Chicken & Gnocchi soup, which came with exactly one gnocchi. I pointed this out to the waitress, and she said that they ran out of the soup and that was the last of it. Later on, she brought me a fresh bowl with loads of gnocchi (but undercooked), but I appreciate the gesture. For my entree, I ordered the Seafood Lasagna Sautee, which is basically an alfredo pasta with lasagna pasta instead of fettuccine (or what have you) and seafood mixed in / deconstructed lasagna. It was super bland and I will not get it again. It tasted better the next day when I ate my leftovers and doused it with my own tomato sauce. Aside from the unresponsive service, food was out in a reasonable amount of time, but it was all unexciting, bland, and average. I should also mention that when the waitress was clearing plates from a table near us, she accidentally dropped one of the dishes and the glass shattered. The broken glass was left on the ground, right next to us. Nobody came to clean it up, and no signs were put out to warn people. The broken glass remained on the ground for our whole meal, and we were the ones to warn the Olive Garden staff as they came and went, "Be careful of the broken glass." I went to this location with my coworker for a quick lunch and we were so generously greeted by Dottie at the front. She was so polite & very kind. We sat in a booth by the window and had the pleasure of having Margaret as our server. She was SO attentive and we did not have to ask her for anything - she was already on her way to the table with whatever we needed. She even threw in a to go drink without me asking. The chicken parmesan although processed was saved by the angel hair alfredo pasta which paired beautifully. The spaghetti and meatballs had plenty of sauce and the meatballs were tender and well-seasoned. The ravioli had plenty of sauce and were exquisite. All the staff were kind, friendly, and attentive. We've been at this location a few times recently and always have had a great experience. Give it a try. Also, love the chocolate mints. Typical Olive Garden food, but the customer service left much to be desired. It was clear that my server was new, so I am not knocking off any stars based off of her because she was nice and wanted to do well, but the hostesses were rude and sat us in the servers section without letting her know we were there, so we waited and waited and waited while other servers ignored us and served others. My friend then got up to ask for help, which is when we think our server was able to see that we were at a table behind a structure blocking her view and she came over to me. This is while my friend let the hostesses know that no one had seen us yet and they were surprised, but laughed it off and didn't offer to help until asked, but my friend then noticed that the server was with me. From then, the server was attentive and made sure to check in on us frequently. Although we went for lunch on a Saturday and it was not busy, they only had 1/3 of their sangrias available, the breadsticks weren't ready, and my baked pasta was luke warm. I just went to The Laurel Location for a quick dinner. I always sit at the bar when I'm dining alone and have to rush. Tonight my server/bartender can use a lot of training on customer service. I've been to a many of Olive Gardens and his service was very poor. 85% of his time was spent talking to other employees and playing on his phone. Neither my soup, salad or drink got a refill by the server/bartender. I started not to leave a tip but I did eat the food and it was delicious. The manager did a great job. Although he was busy keeping all the guest happy, he did make time to go throughout the restaurant to greet everyone. I hope it was just me that relieved the horrible service and not any other guest. The many times that I've been to The Olive Garden, the servers/bartenders always go over the specials of the day and recommend one of their favorite dishes. This time it didn't happen. I would hope that there would be a training to improve the young man's ability to perform better and pay more attention to the customers and not employees or cell phones. read more
