Honestly for a chain restaurant Olive Garden has never let me down. It's a hit or miss with the server but the food is always consistent. I pretty much order almost the same menu items every time I go and not that I go too often but it's my go-to menu items that are tried and true to my stomach. They even have deals where you can take the soup or salad home or another entree home so you can't go wrong with the amount of food you're getting for the price you're paying. The cocktails, on the other hand, are too sweet for the most part and you can't barely taste any alcohol. Salad and soup options are good and the bread always hits. This place probably needs a complete do- over. I have to say, when I walk in to any OG I'm expecting the highest, a 3 level experience, which I'm good with. Consistency with the food is really what I'm hoping for. I rarely go, but at times just need that fake Italian comfort food. Immediately when you walk into this location, you notice the not been cleaned in a long time, and the couldn't care less vibes from the employees. Table was a mess with lint and dust. We ordered a wine and an advertised OG old fashioned, one came after we finished the salad/soup, because the server couldn't find the bar tender. Classic atmosphere, exactly what you expect. The restaurant was clean, service was great and fast, and everything came out quickly. We did the never-ending soup and salad for $12 (such a good deal). The chicken & gnocchi is always a favorite. We also had the Herb-Grilled Salmon with broccoli, which was really good, and portions were generous overall. It's really hard to rate my experiences here because I can't say I've had any major disappointments, but it's also not anything spectacular. We arrived in the late afternoon on a Saturday and were seated right away. Our waitress seemed to be new because she did take a bit long to service our table and messed up my drink order. I ordered the Chicken Alfredo, sub the noodles for broccoli. If you're doing low carb, keto, or just want to indulge in veggies, this is the perfect meal for you. It was perfect! It will be my go to from now on. The salad is always pretty good but I noticed it was mostly lettuce and didn't have many olives. I don't care too much for the garlic bread but it always smells delish! I always look at the baseboards and walls in restaurants because it's a determining factor of true cleanliness for me. Went to this location again and this time I ordered the Tour of Italy. The lasagna tasted like it was a week old, the chicken parm and Fettuccine Alfredo were good. The service was fine, however, the server ONCE AGAIN didn't clear our plates. I don't know what it will take to get these lazy servers to clear your dirty dishes. I even heard the guy next to us have to tell the same server to take his dirty dishes. If this doesn't improve we are never going back there! I have had it! This is a great location! The seating experience was a little odd, the hostess just pointed to where we should sit and the table was dirty, but other than that the food was good! Our server was also friendly and quick. I've noticed the serving size has gotten smaller and the price higher, but I guess that's everywhere these days. I don't frequent chain restaurants but I have always loved Olive Garden, especially the endless breadsticks. Well I can no longer have those but I can have my second fave thing there zuppa toscana which is gluten free! This is my nieces favorite restaurant and I took her here last time I visited as well. Well I also didn't know they offer some Gf menu items as well as a gluten free rotini pasta which I ordered (with butter please) and add grilled shrimp. My meal came out with a TON of shrimp and a hefty plate in general. It was a little dry I couldn't really taste any butter but otherwise perfectly satisfying. My sister got shrimp scampi and enjoyed hers and my niece also got shrimp and pasta haha. I wish I knew our server's name she was so great and friendly. Hadn't been to an Olive Garden in over a decade but when our dear friend Shirley from church said she wanted the famous soup & salad there, we were headed to the Woodlands! So very glad our friend lives there as this location was superb; the cleanliness, the atmosphere and the food was fantastic but the service we got from Vincent was first-class and above and beyond what we expected. He had a wonderful personality and temperament mixed with some great one liners all while making our party of three feel like family. For that, we have to say THANK YOU for making our meal and fellowship with our dear friend special. Even though this is a big national chain restaurant, we would highly recommend this location and be sure to ask for Vincent. He treated us like we were part of his family having a nice lunch at his own home. My husband and I went to this location on Sunday, 9/14, with family members. Everyone wanted to try the endless pasta. I'm not sure what happened but I don't think it's supposed to go like this. It was almost 30 minutes before the soup, salad, and breadsticks came out. My soup was chicken and gnocchi. It was jusr barely warm, there was little chicken to be found in the bowl, and zero gnocchi made it to the party. We were all hungry so yes, I ate and didn't complain. Our pasta came out just minutes later. Mine was room temperature. Admittedly, the restaurant was a bit warm, but, even the lukewarm soup was hotter than the pasta. Not wanting to delay things further, I ate it. The creamy mushroom sauce was good, just not hot enough. My husband had the same experience. He ordered two strawberry limoncello margaritas, one for him and his sister. He agreed to pay extra for Patron. The drinks, when they came out, were small and pink and pretty. But... They were mostly ice cubes, and they had almost no flavor. Or alcohol, for that matter. I'm not sure what the flavor was; it was just sweet, and not a hint of either liquor could be tasted. I am assuming they forgot to put it in. Glad I didn't ask for one. Refills on the endless pasta were TINY. I can't complain about the actual pasta - the texture was perfect. But you'd think most people going for an endless meal of pasta are probably there to eat, right? I only got one refill because of the time it could take to have it delivered to the table. Paying the bill was difficult. We had a split ticket, just two ways. Not a difficult order, either. Yet, the payment tablet system couldn't split it even after the server updated it. We were charged for 3 margaritas. We only had two. That was adjusted by the server, however. I feel like those were a waste of money anyway - so I'm glad I checked the bill before we paid. $25 for two counterfeit margaritas felt like a ripoff. As for complaining to management: We were with family and didn't want to make anyone uncomfortable with something like that. But, the experience was subpar. Poor enough for me to write this review. With the tip we paid $72.00 for something that may have been worth half that amount at best. I am completely aware that Olive Garden is not fine dining. But the food is usually pretty good. I used to love Olive Garden, but I'm really disappointed after our recent visit. Tablets were already on the table, and the server handed them to my kids without asking. There was no heads-up that the games cost $2.99. As a parent of three, I was stuck between letting my kids stare at a screen all dinner or upsetting them by taking it away. Dining out with kids is hard enough without surprise screen time and hidden fees. What should've been a nice family meal turned into a stressful experience. This location is great. I've dined at this location for over 20 years. Actually went to dinner here on my prom night many moons ago. The restaurant itself is clean. Parking is sufficient and well lit. Food is consistent as far as flavor and menu options. My go to dishes are chicken parmigiana and the chicken & gnocchi soup. But let's be honest, can anyone resist more than one breadstick? They are so good! Dessert offerings are delicious as well. Recently tried the black tie mousse cake. It was decadent. Definitely not sharing any of it. Staff are always friendly and welcoming, whether dining in, or picking up to go. Their to go orders are super quick and easy. By the time I got my order home, order was like warm ( ok no biggie) decided to warm up my Alfredo - that's when things went downhill. It was a good experience! There was no wait, which was nice, and even during a busy time the restaurant was kept clean and tidy. The food came out quick and hot. It remind consistent with the Olive Garden brand. I would not recommend the salmon though as it was a bit dry. Everything else we ordered was delicious though. For my birthday last night my wife took me to one of my favorite restaurants,,, the Olive Garden in Spring Texas. after not being there for over a year... we were disappointed, shocked angry. I remember when this restaurant had great food, class, charm and decent help. Unfortunate for us, last night was terrible. We received our orders for what was passed as Parmesan Chicken. It was just 2 TINY and I mean TINY portions of heavily salted 1/4" thick chicken parts. Not only did they give us tiny portions. But Parmesan chicken is typically covered in red sauce, and there was none on our plates. Just the breaded tiny chicken part with a tiny amount of cheese. For what we paid, we could have gotten more chicken from McDonald's The waiter was slightly arrogant and would disappear for long periods. While we sat there, a single woman who sat behind us got up and left without paying!! She did leave a $1.00 bill on the table though. Over cooked and a bit dry - disappointing. Maybe need to special request medium rare to get it cooked properly; drenched in more bitter than I typically like but maybe that's to help moisten it. Worst attitude ever!!! My husband and I went in to eat and saw the bar top was empty, so we started heading towards the bar top. The two VERY RUDE hostess told us the bar was entirely too busy to take on two more guest. There was no one at the bar top, and only two tables in the lounge, so we were pretty confused and asked "What"? They both said the bar is just waaaay too busy at the moment. I've never been told I could not sit in an open section with only two tables occupied before. The employees at this location are always rude, slow, inattentive, and lazy. I've never left a restaurant mad before i could ever make it to a table. I suggest getting food from a gas station before wasting your money at this location.
