I ended up ordering both the tofu vermicelli and a tofu banh mi because obviously, you need to try more than one thing. It was fine. Out of the two dishes, the vermicelli was my favorite. The flavor was good, although what I would consider a slight deviation from traditional flavors, and overall filling. Vermicelli is always a dependable choice and I was satisfied with this dish. The tofu banh mi, however was nothing special. I prefer the bread to be a bit more crispy on the outside with a soft interior and this one was fairly soft all over. Inside, the tofu really needed more seasoning, seemingly cooked without any added flavors except for the fried finish. I added some hoisin sauce but still it needed something more. I'm always eager to try new places but not sure that this one will be a repeat for me.
