She happily gave me extra of the things I asked which I sometimes am nervous about, and chatted with us a bit. Service was super fast, in and out in less than 5 minutes. And, as always, they are thorough in asking whether I have any nut allergies before giving the pesto chicken. This salata accepts cash as well, which is a first for me! "Money is money!" they say! I don't know if it's their Cleanliness or their level of Awareness that's lacking but it's a problem. My girlfriend and I are actually Salata fanatics, so we're experts in making salads LOL The food is always good. The new salad girl was attentive and listened well, she picked up our flow quick. The only thing I would say is, she's sloppy with making sure all the ingredients made it into the bowl. Now initially entering into the restaurant, it was pretty empty. Way bigger than the other locations we been too so we enjoyed that. We also loved the way this location looks. We went to the restroom, they had just mopped in there but there was hair all over the toilet. BLEH *cringe* Then, when we finished paying for our bowls, we went to see if we wanted a fountain drink.... YALL I CANT MAKE THIS UP. THERE WAS HAIR INSIDE THE SWEET TEA FOUNTAIN. #Disgusting In addition, there was sticky stuff on the sea salt containers so that tells me that lack wiping down the salt and pepper dispensers. UGH. I visit this location weekly. One of the larger locations in the Houston area so it is a great place to sit down and enjoy your food. Ambiance is definitely 10 out of 10. The staff is very kind and I have never had any issues with my food or service. I almost always get a southwestern wrap with chipotle chicken but there are a plethora of options catering to many different diets, allergies, and preferences. I frequent this salata often and I really enjoy the food, however after this time I am not sure I will be returning. Half way through eating I found a tiny bug crawling around underneath the romaine. I threw it onto my desk with a fork to prevent it from disappearing further into the salad. I am not sure if there are more and I don't think I'd like to find out. My wife and I decided to stop by around 7:45 before they closed at 8. We walked in and we waited for about 5 minutes while they tried to restock and ignored us. Then finally a lady came and helped. Everything was fine until on check out. My wife asked for pasta in her tomato soup and Juan ignored her. When we were checking out my wife asked if he got our rewards and he got upset and said usually you ask and then she said that she wanted to use her rewards he continued to get upset and was making rude comments. I finally chimed in and asked for a manager and no one replied they just ignored once again. Finally a lady who I don't think was the manager Replied and said she would talk to him. My wife and I come to this location often. However the customer service has been deteriorating. There is no reason why some one should argue with a customer about rewards. I was excited to try this place, they had a small menu so I chose the Thai wrap. It was $9.50, which is fine and my husband got the southwest wrap. In the menu description it mentioned there was meat in it. In the end they charged us $4.00 extra for the meat that was already said to come with the menu item we ordered. Prices are way too high if they are charging extra for all meat. Other than that it was okay, but nothing to write home about read more

The food is always good at any location however the customer service at the Sawdust location is lacking. I ordered pick up and was not greeted.
