OK, I'm gonna level with people on this one. Everyone's complaining about nothing. Literally nothing. I came here for endless pasta. Everything came out hot and delicious. The soups, the breadsticks. I got refills on everything I wanted, and it all came out quickly and hot. Beyond that it's fucking Olive Garden. Like seriously what do you people want? Is it the best Italian food in the entire world? No, it's Olive Garden. They got never-ending pasta bowl and all you can eat breadsticks and soup. But honestly good pasta doesn't need to be expensive or culturally authentic. The pasta itself was great. All of it was cooked al dente and if you have any Italian heritage at all, you know that's literally the biggest deal in the entire meal. You serve me mushy pasta and everything else can be perfect. I'm still going to complain and ask you to remake it. But the pasta was perfect. Alfredo sauce was Rich and creamy meat sauce, nice and meaty. I had a whole day worth of calories in one sitting and got three pastas to go. Service was excellent. I just sat at the bar. There's an old saying if you don't appreciate spaghetti at its worst, you don't deserve spaghetti at it's best. And the screwed up thing is, I've lived another state. I've been to a lot of Olive Garden and this is like one of the best Olive Garden I've ever been to. Like I don't have any complaints at all. You know what nobody talks about. Is these horrible diners around here. All these greasy spoon shit holes. Anytime I get spaghetti in one of these places. I'm always reminded of the noodles and ketchup line from the end of Goodfellas. The pasta is overdone and it's not the right texture. So compared to that this place is like literally a five star restaurant. So yeah, if you want some spaghetti and a lot of soup and breadsticks this is the place for you. read more

My husband and I dined at Olive Garden in Springfield, PA tonight. No special occasion, just wanted to get out of the house after all the snow and ice. Our waitress was cute, but not very attentive. The salad was old and limp. We were not asked if we wanted a refill of salad, breadsticks or drinks ( Olive Garden is usually very good with this). We finished an appetizer and then dinners came and then we ordered dessert and dessert and coffees came.....I wrote that all in one sentence because that's what our table looked like. Nothing was cleared off so dessert was eaten with the smell of old food. Food was decent but I don't think we'll be going back any time soon. read more

AWFUL, after a 20 minute wait, we had a nice new waitress , salad , soup came out , appetizer (lasagna frittas :( aka mozzarella sticks) had to ask for breadsticks , then we waited about 40 minutes for entrees that never came ( nor did an explanation). Asked for check a manager and a , waited another 10 minutes , tracked down a manager who informed us the other manager comped our bill (were they gonna tell us?). No apologies. Totally horrible experience. 1- They were out of the creamy mushroom sauce that my wife came there for. She settled for the pasta and meat sauce but it was BLAND. 2. Gave us a dirty plate. 3. Brought out three of the 4 dinners we ordered. We waited another 20 minutes before my wife's dinner came. 4. There was an unknown foreign object in my son's pasta, Looked like a little stick. When I was a kid I used to go to Olive Garden. Though a different location I remembered growing up and eating endless salad and breadsticks and tasting all kinds of pasta dishes. Being older and now having eaten at more restaurants I feel that nostalgia is kind of more a memory. It seems it is more often average in general than standing out in its served food. Going to this location can be a little rough. Almost always busy you are almost guaranteed to wait before you can even get past the sitting area that all hungry customers end up being kept. Then you are sat down and after ordering given food with either alcohol or regular drinks. The last time I went there I was a little surprised by how salty the food was. Though I probably ignored it when I went to the other locale ages back, it seems this food does not appeal to me as much. But it is still good. If you need a place to hang for an hour with friends this place is not bad. Yes Olive Garden is a chain so keep that in mind and I think you still will enjoy it! read more

Food was delicious even though mainstream. Service was great. People there are friendly even though they are not able to hire enough staff. When a friend and I went in, there were an okay number of customers inside, but not so many that the customers could've been spread further apart. Myself and the friend felt so close together to the other customers that we didn't feel they were attempting 6 ft. apart. The staff noticed we felt this way and let us choose different seats. I personally feel like the restaurant should've had glass barriers between their booths and such at least or they make every attempt to separate people beforehand if they have the bandwidth. In this case, they did have the bandwidth. I can't imagine the pressure the staff is under since it's at least half as much as they normally have. We recently dined at the Olive Garden last night the Roosevelt Blvd location. The food was good and the service was good but unfortunately I will not be returning to that location. Please be aware going here and using a gift card. Not sure if they did not know what they were doing or they took the money from the gift card Either way be aware. I had a 50$ gift card i received as a gift for Christmas I decided to use it and when the waitress returned with our check she said theirs was only 25$ on it. I knew this was not correct since I had the receipt at home but I could not argue since she didn't give me my gift card back. Sad that my mother gives me a nice gift to your restaurant and for whatever reason 25$ was Missing somewhere. I've been to so many Olive Gardens and this one is the worst. I came here twice and wanted to give it another chance. The first time the portion sizes for all my dishes was terrible and the containers were barely half full. This time I ordered a chicken and gnocchi soup there was NO gnocchi not even one piece and the container was less than full. Waste of money. The food quality is not good either. [946] 6/25/2019 This Olive Garden is located on busy Baltimore Pike. Plenty of parking available. The staff is very friendly and the restaurant is clean. I love the breadsticks and minestrone soup. The soda was flat so I switched to water. The food came out while we were in the middle of our soup. We had to take it (who sends food back). We felt a bit rushed because of this. I had the grilled chicken on pasta $14. It was just ok as the one piece of chicken was really small. I should have just ordered the soup and breadsticks Hubby had chicken parm which he enjoyed. Kid had the chicken tender kids meal. He had a few small chicken pieces. He doesn't like pasta so that was a waste as we could not substitute it for more chicken or grapes. He was still hungry after his kids meal. Hubby had potato soup which he loved. We spend about $50 and felt like a waste :( Probably won't come back. read more

This order was terrible. There was no stuffing in the "stuffed" ziti fritta...chewy overcooked inedible. The lasagna was thrown in to the container, was not even pleasant to look at. The sausage was not cooked. I threw one out until I realized I was going to take photos and review The Olive Garden. Typical chain restaurant. I should know better to order from here. Went here on a Tuesday night around 6:30 but luckily I added myself to the wait list online (which stated the estimated wait was 26-30 min), so when we arrived our wait was only 5 minutes! I don't believe Olive Garden takes reservations so this was the next best thing. Our server was Robert and he was so sweet, friendly, and welcoming! Entrees come with the choice of soup or salad with unlimited breadsticks. My go-to Olive Garden order is always the chicken fettuccine alfredo with the chicken gnocchi as my soup (total $16). The alfredo sauce and the soup were both creamy and cheesy, especially with the unlimited grated parmesan. Both are classics that never disappoint, especially for the price! Not the best pasta in the world, but satisfies my constant pasta cravings. At the moment, they are offering never-ending stuffed pasta, starting at $12! I would NOT recommend trying to get a job here. I applied almost a month and a half ago and I got through my first interview and then moved on to my second and they told me I was hired and to come back for orientation so I did. Also just aware that during both interviews I said I would not be able to work or train any Tuesday or Fridays because I won't have any transportation and they said that's completely fine. After the orientation the main lady called and I missed her call so I called her back the next day and nobody answered the phone so I tried it again later that night and someone answered then hung up and I tried calling the next day and same thing so we waited a week I called again and someone finally answered and they said nobody could help me at the moment and that they would call again the next day and so I waited and waited and two whole weeks went by so I called one last time and they said they can train me the day after I last called but that was a Tuesday and I said I won't be able to and they said well we have no more options for you well just call you back later in the week and here we are a month and a half later and I've heard absolutely nothing. I would not recommend trying to get a job here they seem very very unorganized. read more

Different experience than my last visit. Let me say my family and I went because my husband saw a dish that he just had to try, and for a Saturday morning I did not want to cook lol. OH and everyone you never have to wait for someone to take your drink orders now you can do it on the tablet and every table. We had a server name Deon and my husband joked with him about how he looks like Floyd Mayweather and he looks like he could be his son. Anyway my husband decided to get the shrimp and lobster Mac and cheese. My daughter had the kids meal Mac and cheese and a side of broccoli and grapes I had the Tuscan tortellini with chicken and cheese my dish was so delicious and I have to say the strawberry mango tea was so good I asked it I could take a gallon home. But l was happy leaving with a cup full and by the time I drove home it was all gone. I will definitely be back and I hope to get Dion he was so patient and nice. So every time I come back I'm going to his section. This experience was definitely different from my last visit. read more

Serious question here: Where are the spoons? I've been to this Olive Garden several times (my girlfriend loves the soup) and the best service we ever got was from a young waiter called Travis, but we never saw him again. So apparently this place has a spoon-deficit. That's a huge problem when you get coffee (the place is cold). I remember when we went, Travis got us a pair of plastic spoons right away and explained that there was an issue with spoons (which we were sorta aware of). Anyway, so he brought me coffee; and I like extra cream, extra sugar, he got those right away! And well, the plastic spoons helped keep the coffee hot. Getting hot coffee from this place is quite the biggest challenge I've ever encountered. The last two times, I was brought the coffee and had to ask my waiter (a girl, no idea her name because she was nothing special) for a spoon, which she took 4 to 5 minutes to bring, and my coffee was cold by that time. Not only that, a cold, cold spoon, couldn't make things worse. I asked for another cup of coffee, the experience was similar except this time the spoon was readily available and warm, so the coffee stayed warm for an extra 5 minutes. Now I'm not going to shun the experience, the salmon was good, needed more dressing but it was acceptable, great flavor. The soups are the best thing in Olive Garden there's no question about that. read more

I am sure you know the food. Meals are ok and the salad served family style is really good. But the people working at the one on Baltimore pike in Springfield are clueless. It is like the blind leading the blind. They average about six people out at the hostess desk at any given time and none of them have any Biden what they are doing. Did call ahead seating. I've been to many olive gardens, this one is the one I will never go to again. The food was cold, and came out cold again after i asked for it to be warmed, there was even hair in my FOOD! The service was horrible, the managers were incredibly rude and disrespectful to my family, the server smirked/ laughed at my plus -sized wife when she asked for no lettuce and an extra patty on her burger, they even still made me pay for everything that I had asked to be changed and was contaminated. 4/23/2015 OG is a chain so I am reviewing it as such. They have great specials that change often as well as staples that remain. They do a good job of refreshing their menu items I would say at least yearly.Which is why it pained me to be away for so long because this particular one had never, ever gave me good service since it opened. It took a stop in at an OG in Buchanan, VA which was awesome to make me feel like retrying my local Springfield,PA OG So now I am back at my local Olive Garden at lunchtime for the first time in 3 years and I decide I want the filet I had in Virginia. No problem says my eager, competent waitress- Alexis as she presents me with the dinner menu when she delivers the perfectly filled salad bowl. I am excited about the salad bowl because when dining solo this OG had always given me low volume salad bowls and no one ever came back to ask if I wanted it refilled. Alexis made sure it was perfect without me even asking. When the Parmesan encrusted filet mignon arrived it was done just the way I requested. My meal was awesome and the service was excellent. Basic Italian chain. My grandmom really wanted to come here for lunch, and who am I to deny an elderly woman her need for breadsticks? Lunch on a Saturday at OG is no joke, you have to get here early. When we sat down, the place was empty and by the time we left the waiting area was packed, including a wedding party waiting to be seated. The food was ok, nothing extraordinary when it comes to Italian. OG has those tablets on the table that you can pay to play games or order additional food. They even have an option to call your server. WHICH DOES NOTHING. My grandmom, the most impatient woman in Delco, wanted a refill. Our server hadn't come by in awhile so I hit the button to call for the server. The light on the top of the tablet started blinking and....that's it. Other servers came and went past our table but our server never came and no one actually came because of the light. My gram even asked another server for help and they said "oh let me get your server" and kept going. It was quite awhile before we saw her again, but made worse because they have an option to call for your server. If you are paying card, you can use the tablet right there to pay which is nice, and then head out. read more

We haven't been to Olive Garden in years because the last time we went to another location the food and service was bad. We were pretty much done with this restaurant, but our friend invited us so we figured we would give it another try. My only complaint was our friend did call ahead waitlist, but when we got there we still had to wait like 15 minutes. I was worried maybe something got messed up or misunderstood by phone and we were added to the regular waiting list when we arrived. However the food was surprisingly good and reminded me of our old days at Olive Garden. I used to love coming here and made my husband come every Valentine's Day. Our drinks we ordered were both delicious. I ordered the seafood Alfredo and the shrimp and scallops were cooked perfectly. And they were small pieces so they can be easily overcooked, but it wasn't. The Alfredo sauce was very creamy and had good cheesy garlicy flavor. The last time i was here it was too salty and the sauce was runny. My husband enjoyed his meal as well. For dessert we ordered the s'mores tiramisu but they ran out. I was pretty disappointed. Our waitress then asked if we wanted to take home a frozen one on the house, which was very nice of her.
