Because of the time the ceremony ended, we arrived about 30 minutes before close due to that being the only spot left to celebrate. Our server was incredible and very understanding, she for sure deserves to be acknowledged. I was the one who got the chicken Alfredo and spaghetti Togo and she packaged my order beautifully. Salad was good with not too much dressing and lots of olives etc. Eggplant parmigiana lunch was delicious. Lightly breaded and fried with great flavor. Spaghetti with sauce was good too. Reason for two stars is that we were brought our main dishes a minute or two after our salads arrived. We were never given the option or told this would happen. It was a very unenjoyable meal having to eat my main before the great salad and breadsticks if they were hot. What happened was that I didn't eat any salad or breadsticks as I was full. Olive Garden shame on you. You pride yourself on giving unlimited salad and breadsticks but you bring my meal too quick and I don't have any time to enjoy that part of the meal. If you don't want to give them to me perhaps you should be honest. And when I complained to manager, he said it's out of his hands, corporate wants them to turn over lunches quickly. The food is delicious! I think haters should stop bashing Olive Garden. I had the shrimp and chicken carbonara. I guess carbonara means smoky because the grilled shrimp and chicken married perfectly with the cheesy, garlicky pasta. Per the usual, I had Zopa Toscana as the first course. I have never eaten a more flavorful and satisfying soup. Our server was delightful even though my wife ran her back and forth from the kitchen several times for sides, boxes and refills. I could learn a thing or two about patience from our server. My wife tipped generously so all is good. The ambiance was all Olive Garden which is to say it feels busy, yet homey. read more

My wife and I went back the OG after a 2 year break because of bad food and service. We were hoping things had changed, but to our surprise it was worse! We ordered 2 dinners, cheese ravioli, lasagna and 2 waters. The ravioli was over cooked and rubber. The lasagna tasted like a microwaved frozen meal. The salad had way too much dressing and was not very tasty. Overall nothing seemed fresh and the service was poor at best. Overpriced and very poor quality and service. This location is easily the worst Olive Garden I've been to. After taking our order, our waiter disappeared for an hour. I understand that they don't want customers ordering expensive refills of soup or beverages because it cuts into their profit margins, but you should still check in at a table from time to time. You used to be able to get grated cheese for your soup at Olive Garden, but unfortunately not at this location. My pasta e fagioli soup didn't even contain any pasta, only meat and beans. I know their chef isn't cooking it from scratch in the kitchen, so how does corporate even ship pasta e fagioli soup without the pasta in it?! It's the first word in the soup's name! Not a huge fan of chains but granddaughter chose for her bday. We came early and had no wait but took a long time for server, food to come out. Once we started though, it got a bit better. Our server had an unfortunate experience with patrons running out on their bill so am assuming it was part of the reason. It's kind of strange leaving a Yelp review for an Olive Garden but honestly, this location deserves a good review. I've been here more times than I'd like to admit. It's a great place to go after you've had a few...edibles (hey, that limited time never ending pasta bowl is amazing when you've got the munchies). The atmosphere is nice. I made a joke saying "it's like I stepped out of Wake Forest, NC and stepped into Italy." The staff are all amazing. We've had phenomenal waitresses and waiters every single time. They are on top of it with drinks and food. The food is always good, no matter what you get. The 21+ drinks are always delicious and even the unlimited refills flavored teas are great! Went for a family dinner about 9 people. We were seated quickly and the staff quickly came to get our drink orders. That's where the good news stops. No one came to ask about Appetizers for the table. Drinks, bread sticks and salad were quick. Breadsticks went quickly. No one came around to see if any of us wanted more drink or breadsticks even though we ordered endless dipping sauce. I ordered the Steak Gorgonzola Alfredo. Everyone's meal came at the same time and hot. I was so disappointed with my meal. The steak was good and not over cooked, I asked for rare. The Alfredo on the other hand was the worst tasting thing I have ever eaten at OG. I expected this rich flavorful meal with rich blue cheese. Nothing, tasteless. I took the pasta home so maybe I can bring my meal back to life. Plus no one came around asking us if wanted desert. Poor Service, Disappointing food. It was not my night. I doubt I will be back. The low down: Wake Forest Olive Garden steals the show in my opinion. Superior service (all staff very attentive), terrific sanitation rating (99) and of course the typical yummy endless bread sticks and salad! My boyfriend and I went on a Tues night at around 5:45. Luckily we had coupons from the Attraction book that my son's school sells which helped make dinner very affordable. We were greeted by a very pleasant hostess who sat us right away. I was happy to see a sanitation rating of 99. All tables were clean and it was a nice atmosphere. On this night, they were giving out a free sample of their wine. Our waitress, Sarah,was more than attentive, never letting our water get low, explaining the menu to use, and checking on us frequently. The manager also walked around and asked how things were. I ordered the mozzarella shrimp rigatoni! It was delicious! Definitely a lot more calories than one human needs in a sitting but irresistibly tasty! My boyfriend ordered Asiago chicken Alfredo and his tasted superb also. We both had food left over considering they give yOu warm breadsticks and salad before the meal even comes out. Great location inside of the Wake Forest Crossing shopping mall. Have to wait outside to be escorted inside for your seating. Very good idea in keeping with the social distance precautions. The staff at this location are very nice and friendly which is very important. I had a really sharp server named Jaylin. You can spot him by his super cool looking dreadlock hairstyle. He was one of the best server that I have had in a long time. Jaylin was on top of his game. Was very impress with the quick service. The salad that comes with your entrée was so huge. It was enough to feed three people. The large meatballs and sausage with angel hair spaghetti and meat sauce was heaven on this earth. My favorite was the shrimp alfredo and the chicken parmigiana from the Trio dinner. I did not care for the lasagna. My homemade lasagna taste much better. Dined here tonight with my daughter - wow, food was so good! We started with the shrimp scampi appetizer, the lemon sauce is so delicious and not overpowering. I chose a salad with my meal, daughter chose the pasta soup. My salad was very good, love the dressing. Daughter thought the soup was just ok. Entrees were stuffed chicken marsala for me, steak with fettuccine for my daughter. My chicken dinner was so delicious! I opted for broccoli with it, very good. Daughter enjoyed her steak, it came with fettuccine. A lot of food for each of us, too much actually! Our server was very friendly and attentive. Food was served fast and correctly. I ordered from the Olive Garden website for curbside pickup. It was really easy and you could customize how you wanted the meals prepared and select the pickup time. The website did not allow me to pay online but I could pay at curbside. When I drove up I parked at one of the numbers marked for pickup and the waiter came out immediately and took my name and came back with the food and receipt. Service was friendly, attentive and excellent. There was even a checklist to make sure everything was included. The portions were large too. The Wake Forest Olive Garden has got the curbside pickup down and it is well organized. read more

We showed up here at 6:30p on a Sat night without a reservation. After being told there was a 40-45 min wait, we asked about other eateries nearby. The hostesses were super helpful, especially after telling them we were from out of town ! We ended up getting seats at the bar, and before our drink orders arrived, I had told the hostesses we were going to stay, and that we were at the bar. They called the support staff to clean a table in the bar area, and we were seated about 15 minutes after walking in the door! The food was delicious, service fabulous ( tho they appeared short staffed, and the delay seemed to be they didn't have the support to get the tables cleared/cleaned, and ready to seat. This review is based on today's visit. This is a beautiful physical building inside and out. I feel it's patterned after buildings in Italy. It's located on Capital boulevard in Raleigh NC conveniently placed to Raleigh, Wake Forest and adjacent communities. Surrounded by several strip malls, urgent cares, all kinds of eatery, it is a nice no frills slightly upscale eating experience. The manager greeted us ( my family and me) cordially - I noticed about six or so servers-all with masks in place/ standing around the cashier as we entered the building - The hostesses opened both doors for us and we were seated at a booth we requested. The mozzarella appetizer was served hot and quite delicious. The meal was ok/ I felt the last time we ate here, the food was better as well as the service. The server was running around doing different things. I had the soup and salad option, other family members had the salmon entree and sirloin entree that was ok/ In talking to one of the hostesses, I think the restaurant had been very very busy prior to our eating experience, in defense of a little less than stellar experience. However, the restaurant is very clean as well as the bathrooms. This will become one of my favorite eating places as there are really good options on the menu. Also there is takeout options as well as dine in. Alcoholic beverages are available- the bar looked to be well equipped and very clean. I suggest patrons needing accessible support, request a convenient seating to the entrance and restrooms. The restaurant itself is on a flat surface making accessibility very convenient. read more

I just move to wake Forest NC and I just wanted to have good meal for dinner so I look for restaurants in my google map and I found Olive Garden near. I decided to give a try because all my experience had been bad but that was in Florida, my first impression was good because they had music, so I said that is different. The inside of the restaurant look very clean, we were greeted great, we only waited 2 minutes. We order food and everything looks good, the waitress was great, she always can and ask if we need it anything, I said no thank you. She was on point with us always making sure we were okay, I will say sorry because I can't remember her name but she was great. (100%). My family and I for sure we will come back and eat there. And now the problems begin. wait time was over 15 minutes for 3 specials and 1 order from menu. one order still not out after half-finishing the other food. mashed potatoes were cold along with the Marcella sauce. still one order missing. waitress was very apologetic and said they were having trouble with the staff. too bad for customers. don't think I will ever go back to this Olive Garden. oh by the way the bread sticks were the only thing I would give a good rating. read more

One of our worst customer service experiences. We have been to many Olive Garden locations. If you are Asian and decide to stop by around one hour before they close, DO NOT. We arrived by 9 to 9:15 PM last night (they close at 10 PM). When we walked in, there were still several tables being served. We decided to make it quick by just asking for water to drink. A male waiter (I wish I remembered his name) held out 4 cups of water in both hands and sat them neglectfully on the table, causing water to spill all over my friend's side. Instead of apologizing or acting like he cared, he decided to be quiet, and my friend had to ask for napkins to dry it. Then we asked for a Calamari, Stuffed Ziti Fritta, and 2 Entrées (we did not take long to order since we knew it was close to the time they closed, and also, we felt that the waiter was rushing us). The food was good. However, the waiter just kept coming back every 5 minutes and asking if we wanted anything more. We have worked in the customer service field before and never used that attitude when talking to a customer. I'm not sure if it was because we came late, they wanted to go ahead and clean the kitchen, or because we are Asian that caused them to treat us like that.
