Located in the building next to storm hall, I think it's called West Commons? Not too sure. Sandwiches are pretty good. Atomic grilled cheese is really popular. I tried the Three Little Pigs and added artichokes. The sauce on the sandwich was really good and definitely the best part. There are many options to choose from and they have some gluten-free options as well. You can also create your own sandwich if you'd like. Service was okay. Basically if you've ever watched a movie with college students, expect that typical personality.

This place has always been good since I was a freshman at SDSU! The vegan sandwiches are good especially the ones that come with hummus inside. The sandwiches get super messy when you eat though

Absolutely amazing paninis. plenty of vegetarian, vegan, and deli meat options. Most delicious food on SDSU campus.

The pulled pork was delicious and the smoked meatloaf had just the right amount of smoke. For sides, I got the bacon, potato salad and the Street corn. I've had both of these sides before and they hit just right each time. I also ordered the bourbon pecan pie to go. This is the first time having the bourbon pecan pie. I did find some shelves in it, which were a little unpleasant, but at least I know that it's real pecans. It does have a strong bourbon flavor so it may not be the best for kids. To drink, I got the guava lemonade. I arrived with my pup and we sat outside. Everybody was super dog friendly. They brought a nice bowl of water for my guy. I ended up taking 2/3 of my meal home because the portions are big enough for two.

A space for kids to play (toys need some attention, broken slide, and personally think the outdoor toys have been used to the fullest.) Definitely could improve on a nice simple budget. Knocked a star off for safety issues, hygienic and over used items. A small arcade/claw machine area. Full bar Weekly deals We stopped on after a very long day, and felt relief when we walked in. Fresh feeling, welcoming vibe while we were losing our minds with our kids melting down as well from hunger. Extremely tentative fast service, food came out hot and fresh. Our waitress was so amazingly kind, felt like she knew what we were going through with our kids and we were struggling a bit. She offered every possible way to keep our littles happy, so that made us feel very comfortable and just a breathe of relief. A++ on customer service. Food was pretty spot on, kids ate free today with purchased adult meal. Our kids ate every crumb... which is incredibly rare for our kids being so darn picky. They enjoyed it. We shared the 2 ppl plate with the brisket, pulled porked, chicken and sides. Everything was delicious, cornbread was a bit dry imo. But honestly no deal breakers here. Delicious BBQ Great variety Plenty of alcohol Plenty of TVs Great music Great service. We'll be back!! Happy yelpers!!

The menu is a bit overwhelming at first because they have such a huge selection, this is truly an Asian vegan dream. If you've got some childhood meat dishes you're craving, chances are they have a plant based version here! Their dessert was also top notch, they are individual sizes and I'm not sure if that is a good thing or bad thing, because I would have demolished an entire cheesecake. The service was also wonderful, the server told me about the restaurant's owner and history, she was so kind and offered us an extra portion of a banh khot so we would have gave equal amounts to try. They also offer free lemon water (more like unsweetened light lemonade) which they constantly refill. The server said they made it all in house daily. It looks like a hole in the wall at first glance, but truly is a gem of a place!

We came here for a late lunch, so we were lucky that there was a parking spot opened up right in the plaza. I can not imagine how difficult parking would be during the busy time! I assume you will need to find street parking. Although the plaza is small, the restaurant is big! It has many tables inside, including larger areas for groups. We went in and saw a family having dinner together. That really gave the restaurant a warm family vibe. You can see in the decorations that they have earned many recognitions and had even been on Guy's Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives show! What an amazing place! We started the lunch with a nice mint lemonade! OMG! I highly recommend this! I would go back just for this, so refreshing and perfect way to be primed for a great meal. We had three items, Soujouk Flat Bread, Baba Ghannouj, and Ouzi Lamb. The portion is large! We could not finish and had to take to-go for two of us. I love their baba ghannouj! Very authentic and come with the bread. The serve was smiling when I asked whether it came with the bread. He eventually also told us that we should open the bread like a pita and put baba ghannouj in there. I appreciate the guidance on how to enjoy the food. I also loved soujouk flat bread. So delicious! The highly recommended ouzi lamb lived up to the expectation and it's very delicious. Overall, I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. I love the floral and pistachio taste, and it doesn't leave you feeling heavy afterwards. The mint lemonade is also a must have- tastes like it came from the garden in the best way possible. For savories, I had the spinach and cheese bajeen, baba gannouj, and the lamb fatteh - all had a lot of flavor and tasted homemade. I love trying new foods so will have to come back with more friends and try other things on the menu. The downside of this place was being seated on the right side of the restaurant near the carry out section. This was the pit of despair. I noticed that most of the staff goes to the other end first, and as a result 4 tables got seated after us and all of them had food on their table before we managed to flag one of the staff. It was definitely busy in there but he replied that he was simply going in order, but apparently order or left side to right side instead of arrival. I recommend trying to get seated on the side w the stained glass windows for better service. Other than that, the experience overall was pleasant.

Over a year ago now, Cari stepped UP when I became faint and almost passed out on Nate's front deck. It was a hot day, I am BAD at drinking water but great at sweating; and as I stood up, I turned paper white and the world got fuzzy. Cari swooped in the moment she saw what was happening - making sure I was safely lying down, getting me hand sanitizer for my forehead and a wet cloth for the back of my neck (rapid cooling!), and orange juice for my fluid imbalance. I'm so SO glad Cari was there to take better care of me than I take of myself. I miss our nerdy conversations, and hope she'll be back soon!

TL;DR It's really good. Go here…read more -------------- I came here after a friend recommended it when I told them I was coming down to San Diego for a day trip during my spring break from school in Orange County. I was born and raised in LA, so I've had a lot of Chinese food growing up, and I wasn't expecting to be this surprised--but I really was. I ordered the black bean eggplant and the salt and pepper chicken wings. The wings are what they're known for, but I have to start with the eggplant because it completely caught me off guard. It wasn't mushy at all--crispy on the outside, perfectly cooked on the inside, and coated in sauce without losing its texture. Every bite had depth and balance, not just saltiness. I actually meant to start with the wings, but the eggplant was so good I ended up eating half of it before even getting to them. By that point I was already getting full, but I still made sure to finish the wings--and I'm honestly excited to take the rest of the eggplant home as leftovers. By the time I got to the wings, I understood why they're popular--crispy, flavorful, and super satisfying--but what stood out to me was how both dishes complemented each other. One rich and layered, the other crisp and bright. I never got tired of eating, which honestly says a lot. I even told the staff how much I enjoyed the food and they thought I was joking, but I meant every word in saying I thought it was comparable, if not better then the food I've had in Chinatown in LA. Really glad I came here and the next time I have a chance to come back down to SD I definitely will come back here and that's not negotiable for me

My favorites are the Umami Roll, Kona Roll, Caterpillar roll, and the stuffed mushrooms. I always tell people to eat the Umami roll first in case the other rolls affect the experience of the umami roll. It is light in flavor but altogether, the ingredients and texture are perfectly put together to hit you at different points. When you first have the piece in your mouth, you'll get that sesame flavor with maybe a hint of salt but as you chew, you get this surprisingly wonderful crisp in the center combined with savory and hint of sweet flavor. The kona roll is also one of my favs because the slices of lemon as topper is a GAME CHANGER. Caterpillar roll is also a hit among my friends. It's hard to even tell that any of these rolls are vegan. Everyone that I have introduced these rolls to are shocked that these are vegan because they would not have known if I didn't tell them.
