A large venue with full bar and garage door style walls that open for that indoor/outdoor concept. Indoor as well as patio dining is available. They offer a wide variety of specialty subs that are DELISH! I have only had the "5.0" (all meats of pork) with everything on it plus honey mustard and their jalapeño cilantro humus added...AMAZING! Customer service is AMAZING, vibe is AMAZING, and food is AMAZING! I've had their subs to go and not gotten around to eat it until about 1 1/2 hours later, and the bread still wasn't soggy! There are TONS of options for vegetarians, including the option to customize any sandwich to your liking. If you're feeling adventurous, ask to see the Secret Stash menu. Updating my review in regards to the onion soup I bought last night. IM SO DISAPPOINTED that you guys would serve this and pass it as soup, not to mention in a small little cup, for $7, WASTED! Cheba Hot "Toasted" Subs feels like a college institution. The vibe was party and fun vibes. The art and decor was just amazing. The bar was massive! I feel like this is a party location in the evening. Yes, I'm over 40 years old, so those days are over lol I just ordered a nug sized sandwich because I also ordered another sandwich from a near by restaurant. I was just trying as many places as I could since I'm not really in the area often. The Kali Mist was delicious. A little messy but that only means they hooked up the ingredients. Visited Cheba Hut again after a long time and noticed the PB location has closed. This location has a fun, laid back vibe that is great for hanging out with friends, plus they have an outdoor seating area which is a nice touch. They even do discounts for SDSU students and staff during s certain times/days. I ordered the White Widow and my husband got the Midwest Best. Both sandwiches were good overall, but I was a little surprised by the bacon portion. You get one slice of bacon for each four inch section, so my Nug only came with one slice.
