I was really disappointed with my experience ordering here. I asked for the 3-piece spinach kibbeh served with two sides (priced at $15.99) and wanted one of those sides to be the falafel plate. Instead of explaining politely that it wasn't allowed, the employee helping me responded in a very rude and dismissive way. I completely understand that certain items may not be included or may cost extra -- that's not the issue. The problem was the attitude. He spoke to me with no patience or basic courtesy, as if I was an inconvenience for simply asking a question about the menu. Customer service matters just as much as the food, and the way I was treated made me not want to come back. He appeared unhappy, unprofessional, and frankly like he didn't want to be there. That kind of energy makes for an uncomfortable experience, especially when you're just trying to order a meal. I hope management takes customer service more seriously, because no one should be made to feel disrespected over a simple menu question. read more

I don't do to the mall often. However, the needed to purchase something last minute and I was starving of course. I'm always hungry First off, the presentation of the food is really nice, it drew me in. I was given a sample of the chicken kebab with a drizzle of their garlic sauce and it was delicious. We got one order of the chicken kebabs and high comes with two skewers that have 3 thick chunks of tender chicken. I opted for the spicy orange rice instead of the white rice. Delicious! I wasn't a fan of the chickpeas because they were on the watery side. I would highly suggest this meal to the boatloads of teens that walk through this mall and pass right by this place just to get a fries and nuggets or chic fil a or Popeyes or choose to eat other garbage. First time diner in at this place and I must say the food and quantity was amazing for the price and I hope they keep it that way if they want to stay in the business. The moment our food arrived, we could tell it would taste just as delicious as it looked and we were so right. We ordered a Gyro platter, a chicken kabob platter and a beef kabob platter. All were cooked to perfection and tasted amazing. The wait time was merely 15 mins, service was top notch and fast and the place was cleaned and well maintained. Best of all is that they are Halal (kosher) as confirmed by the owner who had opened a halal business in the same mall a few years ago. Staff is friendly and can accommodate and make adjustments into your order if you request. Definitely a highly recommended place. They also have a $5 to go menu which is a little different from traditional dine in menu and it is well suited for those who work and want to grab a bite on their way home from Update: my second visit at this place this past weekend was just as pleasant as the first one. This time we tried New York Steak which I must say was one of the best halal steak I had in SoFL. The quality of meat and it's texture and the perfection with which it was cooked made it delicious. I ordered the beef/lamb gyro, it was tasty but the amount of meat they gave me was extremely sad. It was two (relatively thick) pieces of meat, thats it. Usually when i get a gyro from other places, it is literally overflowing with meat. This was the total opposite. I felt pretty ripped off for the $11 i spent. I was still starving after i ate it. What a pleasant surprise this was! I was really hungry but was wishing for something on the healthier side that day....Boom! Here this place was. Location: It is in the Food Court of the Wellington Green Mall. It has it's own area that's within the hustle and bustle yet it has it's own vibe and atmosphere with a dine in option. Customer service: I was very pleased with how quick I was greeted and the explanation of the menu. I didn't want to do a seated service because I was in a bit of a hurry and wanted it to go. The hostess explained everything I would get with the lunch to go option and it was ready a semi short time later. The food: They have a $5 menu option for smaller plates....if that was the smaller plate I am not quite sure I could handle an entree size. I had the chicken kabob with rice and a salad. It was really delicious. The rice had a nice texture and light flavor. The salad was not drenched in dressing it was actually plain with very fresh tomato,lettuce,and cheese. The chicken was awesome! Some of best gyro I have ever had, but I fear this mom and pop shop in pricey per square foot Wellington Mall won't be around to enjoy for very long. Bipolar, have-it-our way marketing will be its undoing. Is it an upscale Mediterranean restaurant? The booths and tables say yes. The paper menus, No! They look like they were laid out by some third cousin Nikki. Nikki? You know Nikki! Spiro's boy. The one with the lazy eye... One menu item blends into the other. They need a sit down menu. Maybe offer the bargain menu at the wine bar. At least they might make it up in beer and wine. They offer some nice sandwiches, but, because they're priced for "Take Out Only" you can't order them for sit-down. Charge more for the sandwich. Let people eat what they want at your tables. Elegant look is countered by big brash take-out worthy signage over the bar, and equally big, garish deal signs in front of the place. The bar is lovely. The giant Pepsi refrigerator with walk away drinks is both deserted and undercuts the food, and a better price point. It confuses passers by for sure. So enjoy while you can ! read more

This was my first and last time here. I typically only post if I really like a restaurant. I ordered the gyro plate. I could not add hummus as a side. I ordered sautéed chickpeas, which tasted like nuked canned chickpeas. The lamb meat was actually 2 large squares of meat. The pita was warmed up with no evidence of grilling. Stopped in for a quick bite at their bar and it was amazing! David the bartender was so gracious and made me feel right at hone. The owner came and greeted me. I got the lamb gyro and it comes with this amazing sauce on it, everything was so fresh and just got a lemon water to wash it down but I'm coming back for dinner tomorrow. The service was impeccable. And no where has such fresh food. And to think I was going to eat at McDonald's before I saw this restaurant on the other side. I'll bring my family next time the atmosphere was perfect. read more

Went to restaurant again even though the first experience wasn't that good. Server and other staff was really nice. Ordered chicken platter and chops. We were asked how we want the chops and we said medium. It came as well done and dry. Again no flavor and just dry meat(chicken and chops both). Lack taste and some sauce . Awful, the calimari was so freezer burned, dry as paper. I asked if the chicken soup was like Avgolemono, he said yes. It tasted like canned broth with boiled chicken and carrots and celery cut up in it nowhere near a Mediterranean lemon chicken soup. This was the worst Mediterranean food I've ever had! I ordered almost $100 worth of food for the whole family and we ate almost nothing. The grape leaves were generic and the hummus was oddly chunky (But edible). The crispy chicken was super thin, rubbery, and looked more like fish. Wow, even worse than the first visit. The younger staff are friendly but the older staff are not friendly AT ALL. The falafel had zero flavor and was so so bad compared to the first time, flat out horrible. They up charge for almost everything! So stupid. Greek Salad is so boring, no flavor and pretty much a joke. Chickpea salad was not good. I did enjoy the eggplant salad, only redeeming quality of my whole meal. Tzatziki is not good at all, horrible flavor. I don't understand why the platters don't come with pita, seems like a big mistake on their behalf. It's too bad, I love Greek food and if the food was actually good I'm sure it'd do really well in this mall. read more

We have eaten here a few times. Our son is vegetarian (by his choice) and it is really hard to find a place for him to eat when we go out. For being a fast food, it's great! When first going to this mall I was already familiar with the restaurants in the food court. I was hoping to find something new and I was absolutely pleased that I chose to eat here. First of all, the food is outright amazing and comes in great portions. I have never had falafel before and I was not at all disappointed when I ordered the falafel pita. I've gotta say, I am absolutely obsessed with the flavor and I look forward to trying it again soon! The store offers wonderful customer service. Staff and employees are incredibly friendly! OK so first of all the food is awesome, Delicious, and very tasty. Staff are very nice, and the plates are very big that they could be shared with someone else. To start off I got the falafel plate and the plates comes with 3 sides so my sides were Greek salad, baba ghanouj, and tabouli salad (which was a dollar extra but it was totally worth it). Also I got a side of hummus with it and pay a dollar extra for a pita bread (which had a nice texture and was very worm). This place is located in the food court which we all know the food court has trashy restaurants that serve food for just seven or eight dollars a meal but the med plate restaurant has plates for the same price and much better quality. Staff and employee were WAY too nice and friendly. Plates are very big and you get to choose any three sides you want in your plate. As far as I remember sides were like rice, pasta, chickpeas, potatoes, and veggies and from the salad section They had Greek salad, onion salad, tabouli, eggplant salad and grape leaves and the sauce section they had hummus, Tazikie, garlic sauce ( which was so good) and baba ghanouj.
