If u do not show them attention, they will back you into a corner and act all cute until you pet them. I called ahead, and the senora that answered was very nice and helpful. I have a tendency to talk while others are talking, and she didnt mind that at all. She held 3 pies for me until I got off of work. She didn't actually hold them in her hands for 8 hours. She had them in the freezer. 3 pies, and @2 pounds of peaches was $85.00. The marrionberry pie was incredible!!!! You take and bake. Instructions are on the box and easy to follow. Only if you are remotely able to follow directions, and have an oven. I am a Cement finisher and was able to accomplish this on my own, no help from my amazingly beautiful wife. The pies reminded me of my grandma's pies she use to make when i was a young lad, and she was alive. Hope this was helpful to a human.

The landscape is nondescript and is very similar looking as you drive past multiple orchards. But Sodaro Orchards little hand crafted roadside signs stood out from all the rest, those caught my eye. I made that u turn back to check them out. I turned off the main road and drove down a small gravel road. Just follow the additional handcrafted artsy signs. On the right is the fruit stand. You can't miss it. It's not far at all from the main road. In season now are plums, Plouts, peaches (o Henry and white varieties), nectarines... stone fruit! Also they had tomatoes, corn, yellow onions, Bartlett pears, local honey... I'm sure I'm missing something. Everything looked fresh but to me the superstar was the peaches. I bought a bunch of O Henry peaches. A whole flat is $25. The peaches were a good ole healthy size. Gorgeous color and texture. They had copies of their family peach cobbler recipe. I made one that night. I followed the recipe and it turned out gorgeously picture perfect gorgeousand delightfully delectable. Bubbly peach syrupy goodness. (Take highway 20 from I 5 towards Clearlake). They had such a great selection of fruits and vegetables at a reasonable price! Plus different flavors of pistachios.They also sell honey and even pies! Love that they also have olive oil and sauces! They have cold drinks in the frig and ice cream too. It is well organized and VERY clean inside ( air conditioning as well). It is cutely decorated and I bought some really fresh veggies! The 2 young ladies at the cash register who very friendly and helpful! I will be back very soon to get some more delicious fruits and veggies! Awesome experience and worth a few miles out!

They had lots of produce and preserved veggies in jars! They also had a sample area where you could try various apples, pickled veggies, fudge and apple cider! We decided to have sweets before lunch and ordered their strawberry ice cream sandwich and strawberry pie! The strawberry ice cream and donut combo was delicious!! We would order it again in a heartbeat! The strawberry pie tasted like it was just strawberry jam as the filling and we didn't really like it much. Their burgers were so delicious and the sauce they offered were so good!! They had a chipotle and BBQ sauce that was so good that we regretted not asking if they sold it there to bring home with us! Can't wait to be back in the fall for more!!

It isn't. Other than that, produce is ok, they have some good jams and sauces. But boy, some of these kids they have working there are not very adept at costumer device.

I pre pealed the mandarins before the party so they were easy to much on and it was a success. We also got some kiwis. I belive it was a bag of 6 for $0.99. A great deal for kiwis. Last time I got them and saved them in the fridge and they lasted a week. These are a bit soft so hopefully they will last just as long. We also got a head of Lettuce for under $2 which is a good deal. It's nice and fresh, we got iceberg this time and it was a big head. Last time we got green leaf and the time before that we got the red leaf. All very fresh. Parking was easy. When we arrived maybe when we got there we saw 5 cars in the parking lot so we got a space right up front. When we left it over doubled, it was still easy to get out. Traffic flows well. Bathrooms were well stocked and clean. It's always a must stop on our journey. Pedrick Produce is the place to stop for produce and dry goods.

My husband was given a call before hand to go over how he would like it butchered. They were very thorough. A few weeks later they called again to let us know we could pick it up. Pick up was easy. Packaging was perfect. Everything stacked nicely into our garage freezer. 5 stars.
