This is a great neighborhood spot! It has a parking lot behind it or there is plenty of street parking after hours. The service was great and our waiter was very nice. The prices are good for what you get and I thought the food was pretty decent. It's easy to miss outside because there isn't a big sign but it's a great place!

Delish food. Amazing service. I use to live down the street from bar / restaurant. I never thought to come here until now I'm 34 yrs old after I moved out of Laurel. Best kept secret of Laurel. Looks like a dive bar from outside. But it's nice and cozy inside. Everyone is your server it seems. They constantly all ask if you need anything. Everyone is so friendly. Food definitely taste homemade. I only been here twice. But I'll keep coming back.

Forgot about this chill spot! I came once awhile ago! Was looking for a place nearby for happy hour a few days ago. The first place my friend and I went to was closed. We drove down the street and the other place we tried to go was so packed we left and came here. It wasn't overly packed so that worked. We got prompt service. They had happy hour specials until 7 p.m. I think our server's name was Amanda - she was great! Decent amount of parking on the street - not sure if it's enforced or not but I parked at the church across the street.

Shoutout to our local community heroes! Pam and Amanda are a great tag team! Great personalities, neighborhood atmosphere, and comfort food! The specials are yummy as well! I had the shrimp Alfredo pasta!! Yummmm! I'm picky about my pasta and I was really impressed with the taste! Creamy, flavors balanced, and pasta was perfect!!! Whatever I expected, this venue exceeded my expectations!! Wow! Creamy, savory Alfredo! Hubby had the ribeye steak that was good enough to satisfy this carnivore!! Even though we just moved from Texas, this ribeye steak can give Texas a run for it's money!! Yes haw! Bravo to the chef!! That was an unexpected "bar food" experience! !! Pretzel is o cute and soft!! Tater tots are crunchy and just wow!!! Neighbors and family..... are truly a blessing!!! Be thankful for each moment and cherish it with people like the community you find here!! God bless !!!

The energy level is high, with pool tables through out and sports talk in abundance ( definitely a great environment to watch a game !! ) I sat at the bar area and was greeted with respect and professionalism. The bartenders here are awesome and they come with wicked pours.... Yes !!! Drinks here are absolutely on point and not for the faint of heart. Now what floored me, was how good the chicken tenders were ( which is the dish I opted for ) I'm talking best ever tenders talk for sure... not too greasy, but crispy, tender with the perfect sauce. And the fries were seasoned to perfection ( like... really good ! ) I'm already planning a cool Football Sunday outing during the season here... See you soon Hideout !!! FYI: the 5-stars are very fitting when you compare this spot to others in the same category ( cool, down to earth, lively with a lot of moving pieces and lit !! )

We arrived around 10p on a Saturday night during football preseason and 100000%, you can kiss the expectation of having a seat or table available to you, right away. Luckily for me and my party, we were around long enough that someo other table left and then, we were able to have our own space. Before that, I was literally bouncing in between the 1-tv that showed the football game that I was interested in and the corner of the pool table, where the entertainment/karaoke side is. On to the drinks, they were good! The bartender was a blessing to the evening. The food, we were not able to get as the kitchen was opened during the later hours - our party just didn't get our desired table space til later in the night when we were almost ready to go. Parking, I there are designated spots within the shopping center (of course occupied by other shops' parking), but I personally would park on the far opposing end of The Hideout & walk over with your crew. Overall, it was not a bad experience. I believe this was my first time coming & wouldn't mind coming again, indeed to try the food, but DEF. earlier in the evening.

We didn't stay for the DJ, but the atmosphere was already lively and fun while we were there. We ordered margaritas, empanadas, and the octopus. The margaritas were decently strong, had great flavor, and were about double the size of what you typically get at most restaurants (a win in my book)! The empanadas were a 10/10! Absolutely delicious. The dough was perfectly crispy without being too hard, and they were fully stuffed with ground beef and cheese. I'll definitely be thinking about those empanadas for a while! Now, the octopus was my first time ever trying octopus, so I didn't really know what to expect. It came out sizzling and the presentation was great, and there was even a good of amount of shrimp (head on) on the side, which I didn't realize came with the dish.. It also came with a side of rice beans and the choice of corn or flour tortilla. The flavor was absolutely amazing. You could really taste that fire-grilled flavor. For the most part, the texture was good as well. However, the thicker bottom portion didn't seem to be cooked all the way through and had a very fatty texture. We asked our waiter if they could put it back on the grill, and he took care of it with no problem. Service was really great. Our waiter was on top of everything and got every part of our order right. Parking was easy, and the restaurant itself has plenty of seating. Although I didn't stay for the DJ, I have a feeling this place turns into a really good time later in the evening. I'd definitely recommend Salsa Brava, especially for happy hour...and I'm absolutely coming back for those empanadas!

It's become our little tradition, and we always have a good time. Typically, this place is PACKED for the game, and over the years I've had mixed experiences with the service. Sometimes things move along pretty smoothly, and other times it can be a little chaotic--long waits for food, mix-ups with orders, having to ask for things more than once, etc. But yesterday was different, and I have to give them credit where credit is due! I arrived around 4 p.m., right around the end of one server's shift, and we ended up getting a new server named Maria. She was GREAT. She was friendly, attentive, and on top of everything. Our food came out quickly, our requests were handled promptly, and when I asked for the check, it came right out. We never had to sit around wondering where our food or server was. Everything was orderly and efficient, which was a major improvement from some of my previous experiences. And of course...the EAGLES WON! So that definitely helped make it a good day! I do have a couple of things I think Looney's could improve. First, the TVs. I understand that there are multiple football games happening, but considering we're in the DMV and this is a Commanders/Eagles matchup, I would expect the game to be on the majority of the screens. That wasn't really the case. There was also tennis on at one point, which my mom was enjoying, but it was switched off before the match was even finished. I think they could do a better job of balancing what games are being shown, especially during major matchups. I was also a little confused by the ID/stamping situation. When I first arrived, I wasn't asked for my ID; I was simply given a stamp. I'm not sure what the stamp was for or whether I was supposed to receive one, so I was a little unclear about the purpose. I don't mind following the rules at all--I just wasn't sure what the process was supposed to be. And the bathrooms could definitely use a little more attention in the cleanliness department. Overall, though, we had a good experience this time around. The atmosphere was fun, the crowd wasn't nearly as overwhelming as it has been in previous years, and most importantly, Maria was on it! The food and service are a huge part of the experience at a sports bar, and yesterday was definitely a step up from some of the experiences I've had in the past. We'll be back next year for our annual Eagles/Commanders tradition. Hopefully the Eagles will be bringing another W with them!
