Stained Glass Pub in Elkridge is a great local spot with an extensive menu and surprisingly excellent bar food quality. There are so many options to choose from, and everything we've tried has been consistently good. Across our office, some of the favorites are the buffalo chicken wrap, blackened chicken wrap, and Caesar chicken wrap -- all fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. The salads are also outstanding, and it's nice having such a wide variety of choices beyond typical pub food. One thing that really stands out is the service. The staff is always friendly, attentive, and welcoming, making every visit enjoyable. When the weather is nice, the outdoor seating is also a great bonus. The house-made sauces deserve a special mention too because they really elevate the food and add a lot of flavor. The main area for improvement would be updating the overall atmosphere and style of the restaurant. Some renovations would go a long way, especially in the bathrooms, which could definitely use a refresh. Still, the quality of the food and the excellent service keep us coming back. read more

Cool bar. We come here sometimes after work. The service is always quick and the team here are nice. My favorite things on the bar menu are the Crab Pretzel and the Wings.. I go with classic buffalo. We decided to check this place out for St. Patrick's Day. We ordered from the menu special for the day. The service was good as well as the server stayed on point. They do have several televisions where they had numerous games going on as well as a bar. Plenty of parking was available, and the restroom was nice and clean. The food I have to say was just mediocre. I felt like the Reuben Sandwich was just average. Not very exciting. I've had better before. It wasn't well put together. Cornbeef was a little on the dry side. My potato chips were not that fresh. The drinks were good. The reason I'm giving it three stars is because the server was very nice. I heard the pizza got good reviews. Maybe I will give them another try and purchase the pizza next time. All because it means a lot to have friendly good service. read more

This is a nice option. It's near a best western hotel so if you're staying there it's very convenient otherwise it's a bit off the beaten trail for us. Overall it was good. Nice atmosphere and the service was spot on. The burger was good. My friend had a french dip he really enjoyed. We will go back to try more of the menu. read more

Stumbled on this dive bar because we wanted to try somewhere new for happy hour and were pleasantly surprised, it reminded me of a pub in England. The hostess was friendly and sat us down right away at a table across from the main bar. I liked the area because it wasn't too loud and we could hear each other talk. I ordered a pint of Stella, the Hawaiian flat bread which was a special that evening, and for the wings, we split it into two flavors: garlic Parmesan and honey Old Bay. I don't think we'd get the flat bread again, but the wings were worth ordering again. We liked them so much we got an order to take out. Haven't visited the 'Stained Glass Pub' for about two years. No change over two-years but for some that is a good thing. It's still a sports bar motif. Lots of options on the menu. We ordered the Grilled Chicken sandwich and the Caesar Chicken wrap. The place was busy for a Friday evening but the servers handled it well. Drinks were quick. Food was hot and had good flavor. I have been to the one in Silver Spring and enjoyed that one...... So i chose to stop by on a Friday evening. They were moderate busy with enough staff. Service was slow. Seated with no tableware. Service was really great, my server was nice and I spoke with other servers as well and they were very accommodating and helpful. I got the pound of wings, baked, all flats, with the medium hot and garlic palm sauces. Hot sauce was good, though the extreme hot is wayyy better. Garlic Parm was the worst I've ever tasted. Sub par for most things, it appears to be clean in general. The Monday/Tuesday pizza special is where it's at. Everything else is overpriced, we each got the white pizza on the happy hour and it had no flavor and bad crust (a shock compared to the good pizza we had the previous time we came but that was a full size mon/tue pizza special). We asked for a side of marinara sauce each to help with the flavor and then we got the bill and each tiny size was $5!! No communication at all, just a bill with nearly $10 in sauce charges. What on earth. She said she would see if there's something she could do and then the bill came back unchanged. Ask before you order anything when you come. $15 for a dinky tiny pizza and sauce literally and metaphorically left a bad taste. read more

I walked to the bar and the bartender said, let me get you a seat. -1. At first I didn't mind the seat placement. I was far left of walk in, waaay over by the outside door. Also, being a slightly windy, nice day in Elkridge, every time they opened the door, napkins flew off my table and my hair flew all over the place. They did say sorry the first time they blew thru, but ( pun intended) not again for the next 7 times. That was annoying. They could have seated anywhere else, really. The place was nearly empty. Why there?? I don't know... The waitress was nice and attentive. I ordered the French Dip with Fries and a coke. -1. My French Dip was good. No fatty gristle at all and not dry. Bread tasted good. Cheese was on point and Coke was sharp as it should be. My fries tasted old. They weren't soggy but they were stale. Not warm either. The sandwich was to come with chips and I asked for FF as a substitute. Not sure if that has anything to do with it. But I didn't care for them. +1. The menu was extensive. If I were to come back, I could pick from probably 30 other meals. All looked good. Specially the pizza pictures on Yelp. Great options. +.5 They did except my Yelp check in discount. I ordered shrimp stuffed with crab, they were delicious, the beer was decent. But nothing to write home about. The service was excellent. A bit of a fancy sports bar pub with huge (but balanced) portions, great crab options, and excellent specials every day. I'd come back anytime. They are genuinely distancing and staff wore masks without exception. The bar is absolutely stocked and while you pay bar prices unless during happy hours, you always get your value for your money. We had a variety of sandwiches and fries and all were great. Sometimes sandwiches are just big slabs of tasteless meat with bread but these were made with good taste in mind. The pretzel bun was extremely flavorful. The fries are the extra tasty textured sort and not too pricy to add as a side. Come hungry or expect to enjoy half to take home. The staff was polite, regularly checking in, easily accommodating requests and maneuvered safety like pros. Today I learned a lesson. Always read the description of the food on the menu lol. I saw Chicken Marsala, got excited and ordered it. To my surprise it came with spinach and what looked like fried thick cuts of chicken breasts. I was expecting to get some kind of pasta and thinly pounded cuts of chicken, but hey this is my fault for not reading! The mashed potatoes are nice though :) I just hope there's a more neutral tasting item on my plate to balance out the Marsala sauce.
