Amazing to say the least! Service is great and the food is prepared quickly. It's a large space with plenty of seating to choose from. The Greek Salad is the perfect combination of flavors and the dressing is delicious. The classic hummus was a delight with the fried pita chips, and while I personally enjoy my beef shawarma to be kinda sauce-y, theirs is not however it's still delicious. The garlic sauce is just soooo good, I can't get enough of it. It's so sweet and also sharp tasting. It's the perfect compliment to the beef shawarma. The rice could have used a little bit more flavor in my opinion. But Overall definitely 5 stars and I look forward to go back often! read more

This place is the BOMBBB. Everything perfectly seasoned and there is so much flavor. Falafels are crispy and perfectly made. I got the vegetarian plate and it is amazing. I do wish the portion size was slightly larger for the price, but even so, I'm very happy. The gentlemen working there are polite. I would like to add that I would come here more often if they had a gluten free pita option. That would bring in many more people. Don't forget us gluten free people PLEASE Update: I really wish they would take customer feedback. The portion sizes are still small for the price. In that review, I said: Garbanzo Mediterranean Grill is like the Chipotle's for the Gryos and hummus crowd. It's actually more of a fast food version of Pita Jungle. The food is really good and fresh! Lunch ran us under $20 and we left very impressed." I've included that portion of my review, because in many ways nothing has changed, except for the name. Even the interior is identical. Whether it's called Olives Mediterranean Grill, or Garbanzos, the food is still very good. The one major improvement is the quantity of food they provide, which is generous. Another, is the addition of pizza, or Focaccias. Nice. Entrées are in the $10 to $14 range. I'm a fan of Greek and Mediterranean food which is probably why I rated this a little more thoroughly than I typically do. Also, I'm going to approach this against a more authentic Greek place. Went with the chicken shawarma and hummus plate so let's break it down: Chicken - 3.8/5 - A little salty but no overbearing. Portion size was great. Overall flavor is pretty good. It gets the job done but there is something lacking and I can't figure it out. Pita - 2.5/5 - I love pita bread and this bread definitely is not made from scratch. This is what made me give a 3 versus a 4 star rating. Sauce - 3.3/5 - It gets the job done. I am assuming this is a garlic sauce which is what it tasted like. On point for the feel of a chain like food place, nothing spectacular but not bad either. Vegetables- 2/5 - These are the lowest cost items to add to a plate. Two slices of cucumber and one slice of tomato. Not weighing this in to the overall too much but come on. This is a whole plate versus a pita wrap. Was a little disappointed that I had to pay for hot sauce. This isn't usually the case when I go to these places. This place just didn't hit the mark for me. Compared to your average Pita Jungle, which I only ate when I got it for free, I'd say this place would be on par when comparing those two. Overall price point, I feel like this place is very slightly overpriced. Would I go again? Maybe on discount but even then I'd weigh my options for something else. If you just want to deal with that craving for Greek and Mediterranean right away, it wouldn't hurt to try it out for yourself. read more

I thought I left a review the first time we came but I guess I am behind. Well, we came here again tonight and left very satisfied. We got a coupon for BOGO meal with purchase of 2 drinks so we stopped in for dinner. Both of us got the 2 meat plate. For my plate, I went with chicken breast and pork. My fiancé got chicken and gyro. I wish one of us didn't get chicken and got steak so that we could try it but he didn't listen to me when we were ordering. Oh well! We plan on coming back so there's always next time. The plates also included some pita bread and we both added a side salad to our plates. We tend to snack a lot through the day so we really could have just split the plate and a normal salad instead of 2 plates and 2 side salads. Oh well, leftovers for lunch tomorrow! I actually got to witness them fry falafels while we were putting in our order. It was interesting how they scoop it. Back to the food - The pork was better than I had expected. I would get it again and while chicken is my go-to protein, I think this may be my go-to protein at this establishment. I'm not saying I didn't like the chicken (because it was perfectly seasoned!) but the pork just stood out more. Gyro tastes the same to me anywhere so I'm not sure how to review it. I was on a cider kick after our London trip so I grabbed the Ace pineapple cider as my beverage. My S/O did the same. It was interesting - not sure if I'll get it again. Let me start by saying this place has a good size dining room, the floors were clean and the cashier was friendly. All 5 stars. Now the food. I ordered the OMG salad with the chicken swarma, The salad has nice greens but the vinaigrette dressing added to the salad was overpowering and was way too much (made the whole salad soggy) recommend you get it on the side and add to your liking. They also have a garlic sauce they give you on the side, which you can add to your liking (this should be the restaurant policy for all sauces). If I had to do it over, would just get the regular grilled chicken for the salad, because the chicken swarma was just ok. Use the Yelp app to check in to get 20% off your total, otherwise your total might be surprising. Chicken Swarma OMG Salad w a drink, plus discount, about $13. Other positives: my friend had the pita bread w his plate and was really good. They make their own hot sauce, but you have to ask for it. Before COVID, my husband and I would visit here at least once a month and we always had good experiences. The Mediterranean chicken pita, chicken shawarma pita, and most of the salads were always really good. Not off the charts amazing, but tasty and filling. Tonight was different. I ordered two chicken pitas and the chicken in both pitas were incredibly salty and had the consistency of jerky; extremely dry and tough! My husband took the chicken out of the pitas and tried to save them by soaking them in chicken stock with a little bit of bacon fat (over-cooked meat needs to have moisture and fat added back into it). It didn't work; the chicken was completely inedible. We gave up and tossed it. Total waste. I don't know what happened, but something is very different. Maybe it's new management. Since we never experienced this before and BOTH pitas had dried out chicken, we assume this wasn't a random problem. The prices also seem to be higher than in the past and not competitive with other Greek restaurants in the area. Consequently, we probably won't be going back. read more

I was in the area doing some shopping and decided to stop in for lunch. I was very impressed with the speed of service, the two men working the front seemed to have the lunch rush down to a science. I had hardly ordered before I had my meal delivered. I got the steak plate and for the most part, it was very good. The steak itself was hot and tender, I'm fairly certain I could hear it sizzling on the grill. The pita lacked a pocket, but was fluffy and light. The garlic sauce had an interesting tang I wasn't expecting but was very tasty. The only thing I was disappointed in was the pilaf. The most interesting thing about it was the neon yellow color. There was hardly any flavor and it was quite dry. If I'm in the area again I'll have to try one of the sandwich combos. read more

I'd give more stars, but they ran completely put of flat bread pizzas and dinner platters w rice, so the choices when we were there were a bit limited. I liked the cilantro jalapeño hummus the best of the three. The pita was soft and thick. The vegetarian plate was expensive ($10.50) but the hummus and pita was reasonable ($5.95). The fries looked great, but not $3.25 great. One recommendation - they need to rework the order line. It seemed very confusing for people and a big crowd stood in the dining area instead of the area against the wall. A rethink/redesigned is needed! Olives has really got good food. The dipping sauces and dressing is made in house and so good. The Falafels are light and airy and not heavy. We each had a salad and plenty of food to take home . I love their Blackberry Jasmine Green Ice Tea. So refreshing. The staff is helpful and attentive. So glad I found this restaurant. Have been in for lunch twice in one week. WOW. This is the absolute BEST SHAWARMA , I've ever had. The chicken Shwarma is so flavorful, juicy, tender, and delicious all on its own..... BUT PAIR THAT with tomato, lettuce, onion, a phenomenal tzatziki sauce wrapped in a fresh warm delicious pita-- and you got yourself the best dish you'll ever try (yeah, I said it).
