We had a great time at Olivia's. The staff was very engaging and helpful with the menu. The atmosphere was very relaxing and really get into vacation mode. The dining selection was wide, but concise. We started with the conch fritters and jalapeño chicken soup. Both we amazing and the jalapeño flavor was fresh and didn't have the artificial canned taste. Our experience here was great. We got sacked quickly, and all of the cast members, especially our server, we're very friendly and helpful. We came for brunch on a Saturday morning and got a great table outside. I started with the French press coffee, which was really great. I had the chicken and waffles. The chicken was massive it was on top of one Belgian waffle. I do wish I had gotten some thing else, mainly because it was a lot of chicken and nothing else to it, but it was still good. I don't think it was any commentary on the dish itself, but is more of me not being a huge chicken and waffle person (this was my first time trying it). The dishes at everyone else out of my party we're good. Overall, we had a great time. The food was nothing to rave about, but it was a great simple brunch meal and I would definitely go back. read more

Being ever in a mood to sample new and different settings, we set out for Olivia's to have breakfast here. It is at the Old Key West resort, which is a Disney Vacation Club resort, but anybody can come here to eat. With reservations, of course. The waiter, who was very friendly and easy to deal with, recommended the Banana Bread French toast, which sounded like a pretty good meal to start the day. We were going to have it anyway, so that confirmed our choice. We asked for additional banana syrup with it. When it arrived, both pieces of the French Toast had pockets of baking soda baked in. They had not mixed up completely prior to baking the bread. It made the experience temporarily unpleasant, and the syrup was late to arrive, if it did? The setting is beautiful, inside and out, with a mock Key West feel. The food wasn't bad, my feeling was this was a bad day and out of the ordinary. Amazing theming. Really captures the feel of the Florida Keys. Food as per usual was good. Not anything extraordinary but good. Tried the conch fritters and a lot of it is batter but you get the general idea. I ordered the shrimp pesto pasta. It was creamy and flavorful. What I was really surprised about was the buttermilk fried chicken breast. Very juicy for a piece of breast and the seasoning in the batter is PHENOMENAL. I'll give them that! This location is great for a low key less chaotic breakfast feel. Service was great our server was super attentive. We ordered the shrimp fritters which were amazing packed full of shrimp and the sauce complimented it very well. The sombrero omelet was packed full of ham and veggies super filling and was shared with us both. The potatoes were out of this world super creamy and cooked perfectly. The only reason 4 stars instead of 5 was the shrimp and grits the potential was there but the vinaigrette offered a sweet overpowering flavor that really was off putting almost tasted like bbq and was overloaded with sauce. Huge plus when there Saturday morning Pluto, Donald and goofy were walking around outside taking pictures such a huge plus when avoiding those crowds in the park and have an intimate feel. read more

After contacting the management they invited us back and the second experience was very good enough so that I feel the message got across. I wasn't looking for a compensation or even a free meal. I was bothered that the employees were not doing their job properly. I'm glad that the management there took it seriously and have corrected the issue through additional training of a new employee. read more

We actually ate here twice during our stay at Old Key West Resort. Once for brunch, once for dinner. On the brunch day, my wife had the seasonal market salad, and I had the Conch flats club sandwich. We both really liked what we got, and the fries were very good. On the dinner day, we both had the caesar salad with chicken, which was good. For this meal, Nancy was our server, and she was awesome. Visited this place with friends on an early Saturday morning at 8 am. This place came highly recommended by a friend. We were a group of 5 with reservations and were seated fairly quickly. The decor was nice as it is everywhere at Disney. We ordered mimosas and breakfast. I had the eggs Benedict and potatoes but the food was ok. There wasn't enough hollandaise sauce and the potatoes with the sauce lacked flavor. Service was great but the food was so so. We were one of the early bird groups so there wasn't a rush of people there. For over $20 for my dish I wouldn't not be coming back soon. read more

I came for breakfast years ago and did not care for it. Decided to give it another go but for dinner this time. The conch fritters were....scarce on the conch. They were so finely diced you could barely notice they were there. For $14, you get 7 pieces. The fried chicken ($24) I've heard so much about was moist but tough. I was so baffled by this. How does a piece of chicken breast be tough and moist at the same time? I struggled cutting through the chicken with my knife. The mashed potatoes were standard and the bottom half of my biscuit was rock hard. The green beans were good but greasy. The Catch of the Day - Salmon ($34) was good but slightly over cooked. Server did not ask us how we wanted the fish cooked. The broccolini were delicious but the fingerling potatoes were lackluster. Oh. And the rolls. The rolls came out warm but the inside seemed stale and the honey butter did not melt on the rolls at all. Olivia's will remain at the bottom of my Disney Dining List. read more

I wanna start out with I'm a slightly disappointed that they took away lunch and replaced it with brunch and dinner options only. With that being said the food was great. I had the shrimp and grits and shrimp fritters. All good was well seasoned and perfectly prepared. This is a great place for a family meal and great atmosphere. After a long day of travel, we didn't feel like packing into Disney Springs to try to find a restaurant on standby. Olivias is the main restaurant of Old Key West Resort, where we were staying, and you can almost always get a reservation. Olivias gives you a combo of Key West and Southern Charm and you can dress up or go as casual as you want...As always they start you out with warm pineapple bread and butter. I had the New York for my entree and my sister had the Buttermilk Chicken, Another choice would have been the Prime Rib. We love coming to Olivia's for dinner or breakfast but found that they have cut the portion of fried chicken down to a breast, it used to be a half of chicken, but still the same price. The prime rib was just as big and about the same price. Service was great and we love the ambiance. The chicken was good, but the prime rib had a great flavor, and as mentioned above, was big. It's kind of funny because Olivia's was the last restaurant I went to before the world locked down for COVID and one of the first places we went when it opened back up. Olivia's is located at WDW's Old Key West resort. It's rarely crowded and usually pretty easy to get a reservation. For my family it has long been a hidden gem on Disney property. March 20 my mom, son, and I had a reservation at the Grand Floridian Cafe for lunch before the resorts shut down, but when we arrived for our reservation the guard at GF told us they had already closed. Well the little one was ready to eat, so we went to OKW and Olivia's happily accommodated us. Olivia's menu features a lot of "Florida" food so think shrimp, conch fritters or chowder, and key lime pie. If you don't eat seafood, don't fret they have plenty of other options as well. On this occasion I had the roast beef sandwich and my mom had the shrimp po boy. The little one ate off our plates. The shrimp po boy was delicious. My mom and the little one loved it. I thought the roast beef was great as it featured arugula and boursin cheese. All sandwiches come with your choice of fries or chips. They are homemade chips so I really enjoy them, but the little one likes fries so we usually get one of each. So last week my mom wanted to pick up some DVC specific merchandise so she asked if me and the little one wanted to join her and lunch at Olivia's after picking some stuff up at the resort. Of course we said yes. Things have changed a bit post COVID. The restaurant still wasn't terribly busy so no issue with social distancing and we were able to be seated right away even without a reservation. Menus have been replaced with QR codes so you can check out the menu on your phone. Servers have been equipped with masks and shields. Silverware is rolled, and condiments like ketchup, salt, pepper, and sugar are brought out by request. So there have been some menu changes post COVID as well, but the menu at Olivia's has always changed on the regular so this is not terribly unusual. It still features plenty of seafood and crowd pleaser favorites. The soup of the day was tomato which is one of the little one's favorites so that's what he got. I ordered a cheeseburger and my mom ordered the Duval Street Burger which came with shrimp, avocado, and pico de gallo. The menu also featured prime rib which is one of my husband's favorite things here and something I highly recommend. It is also currently featuring fried chicken which looked really good. If your on Disney property and haven't checked out Olivia's you should definitely consider it. read more

First time and definitely not our last!! It can be difficult to find a "lite" option at Disney that is also sit down dining. Olivia's is our new spot!! (Located in Old Key West) The club sandwich was wonderful, from the bread to the aioli to the roasted turkey. Delicious! My sister had a burger that was also very good, except for the bread and butter pickles. That's a strong chef choice and we don't hate it but it wasn't our preference. The fries were crispy and the buttermilk fried chicken was also a hit! Pricing was reasonable (my club sandwich was about $17) and the service was pleasant. Next trip we'll take the kids there and I'll report back, but it was a hit with the adults! read more

I had heard good things about Olivia's but left extremely unimpressed. I got the vegan scramble and it was mostly potato and a very small portion for the price. I essentially paid $15 for a side of home fries. It took a ridiculous amount of time to come out and was cold when it got to me. It was pretty much completely flavorless aside from the peppers. The allergy waffles (vegan) were tasty, but they were too cold to melt the soy butter. Definitely wouldn't go back, it's overpriced and the theming was just run down and unimpressive. read more

Made reservations Thursday night for 4 and it was such a breeze! Our waitress Spencer was amazing and gave great suggestions for my roommate who doesn't eat red meat. The prime rib was cooked to perfection (medium rare) and the scallops potatoes are delicious! The bread that comes out before the food is also addicting. Bad experience! To start, when I walked into the restaurant the hostess didn't acknowledge me after I greeted her, she was not busy, I awkwardly stood there for 2 minutes before she asked how she could help me. The waitress was the only positive experience in this restaurant, she was polite and friendly. My fiancés ordered the salmon which was not cooked. I orders the fried chicken which had a hair in the breading. The staff was aware and still charged me for the affected food and added an 18% gratuity. Do not recommend! read more

Conch Fritters - soooo salty. Not much conch. Was mostly filler/bread. This was disappointing. The sauces were both insanely salty too. Big ole negative on this. Key Lime Tart - The tart itself was decent. I was hoping for it to be more tart and sour. Too sweet for my taste. Additionally, the marshmallow topping was again too sweet. Not our favorite, but maybe better for someone else. read more

I know that one meal does not define how good a restaurant is but tonight I think I found one of the best kept secrets in Disney World. I had dinner on 12/28 with my wife and son at Olivia's and it was excellent. The place is very quaint and tastefully decorated. Ken our waiter was super friendly and the service provided was great. For starters I highly recommend the fries critters and crab cake. The latter was one of the better ones we've ever tasted. They serve the meal with a bread that has infused coconut and pineapple flavor. My wife had the polenta and shrimp and my son had the buttermilk chicken with mash and gravy. I had the 14oz pork chop with a side of mixed sweet potatoes, cranberries, candies nuts, greens in a delicious vinaigrette. For dessert we had flourless chocolate cake, bread pudding and key lime pie. The key lime was ok, but all of the rest was excellent. With two glasses of wine the bill came out to about $150 without tip so it's definitely not cheap. However for the quality of food given, the ability to avoid the madness at Disney Springs, the great service rendered and a very relaxed dinner after a long hectic day I would strongly recommend coming here. read more

I know almost everything tastes better on vacation, but I can't stop thinking about the Southernmost Buttermilk Chicken. If you are looking for sophistication, this isn't it. If you are looking for solid classic comfort food, you found your meal. The chicken was good quality, not greasy and cooked to perfection. The gravy was good enough to eat with a spoon. The mashed potatoes were splendid. The green beans were the perfect compliment. I am not a fried chicken lover and I loved this! We stayed at Old Key West this trip and ate their three times! Got the Southernmost Buttermilk Fried Chicken meal twice! If I had to give a heads up, we also got the Fried Chicken and Sweet Potato Waffles for breakfast one day...and it was not nearly as good. I also wish they had better bread service options- I get that they are going for a tropical vibe with the coconut pineapple bread they offer, but it did not really work for me. Having said that about the breakfast and bread service, I still do not hesitate to give five stars! Even if we stay at another resort whenever we visit again, we will surely travel to Olivia's to get some of that chicken! read more

I never knew about this place until I recently stayed at Disney's Old Key West resort. This cafe was basically our only option for brunch after checking-out of the hotel. It is located near the lobby. Our wait time for a table was about 25 minutes but we didn't mind waiting since there is a Disney gift shop connected to the restaurant and it was also nice to walk around outside in their recreational activities area. Once we got seated, our server warned us that the food was going to take awhile to come out, but again, we didn't mind because we know that restaurants at Walt Disney World Resorts tend to be like that anyway - plus it wasn't that bad since our Bloody Marys came out first (which btw, were super yummy). I ordered the Duval Street Burger - beef topped with shrimp, avocado, pico de gallo and cheese on a pineapple-coconut roll. It was amazing and definitely hit the spot! Also, their side of grits was smooth and creamy, and their Banana Bread French Toast was a good dessert-like dish to share with the table. We were impressed and I will have to come back here to try their Dinner menu items some day and hope it is just as great as their breakfast/brunch menu. read more

If you are staying at Disney's key west resort there are not a lot of restaurant options on the property but while it lacks in that it does have water and bus transportation to Disney springs. Olivia's cafe was a nice experience. It had Caribbean flavors but with mild spices compared to key west. The shrimp po boy sandwich was a nice sized portion you could almost share depending on your hunger level. The menu was limited I would like to see more options and typical key west food. In terms of desserts the chocolate cake was a hit. It was cake like on the outside but gooey on the inside. One thing to check though is if you have an allergy to shellfish check with your waiter as it is possible for food to be cooked in a pan where shellfish had just been cooked. read more

I had heard great things about Olivia's Café before I went, and I'm so glad to say that the rumors are true. This place is GREAT! From the amazing decorations to the great offerings, I was extremely impressed. I've always been a fan of the "coastal-look," and this environment is the embodiment of just that. For my meal, I opted for the Pork Carnitas. The portion size plate presentation really stood out to me before I even dove into my lunch. What an excellent bite this meal provided...the combination of the lime rice, black beans and tender pork is to die for. The chimichurri incorporated a unique spice that the dish needed, making it such an excellent bite. Some Disney locations are hit or miss, but Olivia's Café is a total hit.
