Gaaawd!! Go here. Just go here! If I lived around this area it'd be my prime spot. Spice yes, but perfect balance. Try the juices too.

This restaurant is still great! I bought the oxtail dinner delicious! It's a must try! Unfortunately the parking is hard so order ahead and bring someone with you to run in OR park walk to cherry street and enjoy the nearby outdoor seating. If you want Caribbean food with a Jamaican flare go to OLIVIA'S!

I just came back from Turks and Caicos and have been missing Caribbean food. Olivias definitely hit the sweet spot. I ordered the veggie curry, and my boyfriend got the oxtail, which was phenomenal. Portion is extremely generous, and I probably have enough leftovers for another two meals. The price is also very reasonable. I love the service. My bf and I couldn't decide whether to order the oxtail or prime ribs, and the waiter brought us samplers for both to try, free of charge! So rare to get such hospitality nowadays. Will be back. For now, I will dream of the oxtails :)

Chef Roger is awesome!!! His cuisine matches his personality, vibrant. After dealing with many unprofessional caterers for my engagement I decided to come in to inquire about catering. He couldn't have done a better job with the presentation! Good part was everyone loved the food at my dinner, bad part none was left over for us to take home! The location is clean, his staff is professional and of course the food is delicious. He cooks all the food from scratch so there's a home feel to the food. I'm a life long customer!!

I have had the Jerk Chicken and Brown Stewed chicken. Both came with rice & peas and a salad. The chicken was well seasoned on both dishes. Real authentic Jamaican flavor. They give a decent size portion for around $11 each. My only disappointment was that the dishes did not come with plantain. Other than that I would recommend this place. They seem to be open limited hours. 6pm to 11pm

Recently, we discovered that there's a much larger part of the restaurant in the back, accessible through the alley off the main street via the rear parking lot. The space is decorated with Peruvian art and vibrant colors. To start, we ordered anticuchos (grilled beef heart skewers). The marinade is packed with delicious. I honestly thought I was eating steak. I ordered the chupe de camarones (shrimp chowder soup). I cannot stress enough how big this bowl of soup is. They do not skimp on the shrimp! It's probably one of the best chupes I've ever had. I ended up taking a large container of it home. Likewise, my partner ordered the chaufa mixto (Peruvian fried rice with chicken, steak, and shrimp). Always ask for the green sauce, absolutely delicious! Just like with my soup, he also had plenty of leftovers. To wash it all down, we ordered chicha (a purple corn drink), which was so good. This place is known for its rotisserie chicken, so we ordered a half chicken to go for the following day. I understand why it's everyone's go-to here, juicy and flavorful. We don't live nearby, but the food, friendly service, and generous portions of delicious dishes make it well worth the trip.

They've been open roughly 6 months, so I do not feel like I've been missing out for too long. It was a sunny Saturday afternoon, and thankfully not a long wait. I ordered the curry chicken w/cabbage and rice & peas. The curry was flavorful and finger-licking good, falling off of the bone; although some of my peas were rock hard but other than that the rice & peas were delicious, too. The cabbage was sooo good!!! I could have used a tad more, but I chocked that up to personal preference - i LOVE cabbage! I guess I was so mesmerized by the inviting aroma that I forgot to take a picture of my food (which usually never happens), but take my word... the container was empty. The menu has plenty to offer and I am looking forward to trying the jerk chicken next time - which is made on the grill (not the oven). I also loved the decor and art on the walls. Great food and the service is what won me over completely. While waiting for my order, I met the cook and chatted with the owner, Maxine, who is extremely personable and polite. I could have talked to her about quality food and quality customer service all day. It's nice to converse with owners of establishments who just 'get it'. The professionalism here is on point. And make no mistake about it, she reads all reviews and takes all feedback into consideration. There's also a very nice outdoor space with seating and live music. I will definitely be back! 5 stars earned and well-deserved!

The ambience is cool and appealing, the music was a little loud, especially during the DJ party. The furnishing is warm. The place has been redone by new ownership (2026). The service was inconsistent at best. Be prepared, they don't serve tap water, just expensive fancy bottled water. The food came out to us with deffering amonts of delay, and they entirely forgot about one of the people's order twice, even after reminding them. On the 3rd time the waiter completely washed their hands of it and claimed ignorance about the placed order, then informed us they did not have the ordered item. When we wanted to replace the order they told us the kitchen was now closed. The person remained hungry since they couldn't eat any of the other foods people ordered. I wasn't a fan of the coconut shrimps sauce, it was too runny, not solid consistency at all. The shrimp itself didn't contribute much, so the sauce was what needed to bring it home. The Cuban was flavorful, but we both agreed that the pork was dry. I'd give them another shot if invited, but I wouldn't go back on my own. Mana is a nice space with a huge mural painted on one wall with several tables spread out in the restaurant with a comfortable distance between them. To the right is the counter where you order and pay. The restaurant is clean and welcoming and I would have been happy to dine in had I not been running errands. The food is mostly laid out on a steam table behind the counter. I saw different kinds of chicken, pernil, potato salad, green salad, empenadas and more. I wound up ordering yellow rice with black beans and a baked chicken leg. I also ordered a side of Maduros and a chicken empanada. Here's how I found everything (keeping in mind I took it home to reheat before I ate it): Chicken Empanada Unlike most empanadas I get nowadays, this one seemed to have been fried, with a crispy, yellow outer shell. The crunch was fantastic and I really liked the flavor. The chicken inside was super tasty and I immediately wished I had ordered another of these. Maduros I LOVE a good plantain but they are surprisingly hard to find. I would say if I go to five restaurants with them perhaps only two will have really good ones. Maduros should have a nice chewiness, maybe even a bit of caramelization on the outside with a wonderfully sweet flavor. I am happy to report that Mana has exactly this and it was great! Chicken & Rice with Beans The rice with beans were good and had some veggies mixed in. I've had better and I've had worse, so this falls straight in "B" territory. The chicken was the same - tasty, well cooked, moist but the flavor was average. Flavor-wise this is a good dish (not amazing). That said, the *serving size* was tremendous and there was enough rice for me to have over two meals and for that it deserves high marks! I really enjoyed the food from Mana. Sure it's not the best ever, but it was good and priced reasonably. I'd definitely go again.
