We arrived at 8 AM on Thursday and sat near the front of the restaurant. There were three other tables occupied at the time. I really enjoyed the Bees' Knees latte. My husband enjoyed his latte and my son had iced coffee. Beverages are served in unique and very pretty porcelain teacups. We ordered the Bananas Foster waffle with sausage patties, the half order of prosciutto avocado toast with eggs on the side, and my son had the chilaquiles. This is the kind of place where you can savor an old time atmosphere with many things to see as you enjoy conversation. This is not a fast food restaurant. The staff are warm and friendly. The half order of prosciutto avocado toast was really delicious. The bread was lovely and dense and could have been toasted a little bit lighter for ease in cutting through the vegetables. (This was easily the perfect size for a meal, and the whole order is equally beautiful and generous.) My husband is still swooning over his lovely waffle and sausage patties. He gave his dish a solid 4 stars and talked about it all the way home. My son had chosen the red chilaquiles which had just the right spice level. The place filled up steadily until we left about an hour and a half later. We have a patio outside, which is receiving a new sunshade and lights. Mona the owner explained to us that on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. They will be serving dinner. She was warmly greeted by people who are obviously regulars to the café. We look forward to coming back soon because it was very difficult to make a decision on the menu and everything looks so good.

They welcomed us in for coffee even though there were not quite open, and took time to show us around their store which is so charming! The coffee was so good and actually very carefully crafted to our liking. Given the attention to detail we received that morning, we will certainly be back for date nights! If you haven't been by and are looking for something unique, I highly recommend you check it out!

The staff were laughing with each other as they were working and you could tell they like their job. I received a warm welcome and was presented with three different menus for all they have to offer. My server Jennifer was great to talk with about the wines, the owners, and the food. I enjoyed trying different cheeses along with a delicious Albariño wine. They had some fairly steady stream of customers, some were regulars and some were first-timers like me. Next time I will try one of the salads which I saw and it looked amazing. I have a feeling they will need to be expanding if the word gets out on how wonderful everything is. I added it to my list of stops whenever I am at my vacation place in Indian Wells. You should check them out!!

Olive a sudden is a great little hidden gem that I highly recommend stopping by and checking out. Not only do they carry olive oil, but also an incredible spread of balsamic vinegars. The shop is laid out like a fancy perfume boutique with large canisters boasting every flavor you could imagine. The associate I interacted with on this last trip was super friendly and encouraged me to sample as many of the offerings as my heart desired. Small little plastic cups are provided, and she even pulled out some crackers to help with the experience. I've been here a number of times and every time has been great. This time we came to select a bottle of the black cherry balsamic . I used to think that I was not a vinegar girl, but this place changed my mind. The infused balsamic are my favorite, but don't sleep on the White balsamic either. They are just as tasty and go great in a salad or on top of fruit even! For those who don't like things to be too sweet, but want a little kick to their dishes. I highly recommend grabbing a bottle or two. Plenty of parking in this shopping center, so no problems finding a spot to browse!

The whimsical atmosphere dances with charm, delicate pastries gleaming behind glass, the soft hum of conversation, and an elegance that somehow feels both refined and warmly inviting. Every dish arrives beautifully crafted and bursting with flavor, from buttery pastries to savory delights that comfort the soul and delight the senses. They are almost always busy, but the multiple ways they make each guest feel invited and welcome are impressive. The maître d' is simply exceptional. She doesn't just seat and then retreat behind a stand - she is on top of every aspect of service. The complimentary infused water is always welcome. The counter staff is responsive almost to the point of being psychic. This next sentence may cause the owners pause, but I recommend over-doing it on the pastries - way overdo it! Buy you and your guests more than you can possibly finish. Get some for your neighbors and friends. (And if you are still craving those eggs - they have some surprisingly low priced options hidden in the menu. Great stop! Roger Medanich
