Ordered a Hilacha de Res Guisada (stewed beef with refried black beans and rice) and a Pan con Chile Relleno (ground beef stuffed battered chile in a bolillo with lettuce, tomato, mayo, & red sauce). Both were hot, fresh, delicious, well-made, & fairly priced. Be prepared to wait a bit because the food is prepared to order. I wouldn't recommend the pastries though, at least on an early Saturday evening. The refrigerated pastry case was mostly empty except for some fruit tarts that didn't seem very fresh. I went here to grab a quick bite while waiting for my number to be called at Turner's Outdoorsman. I looked at the menu board and tried to order something with the lady working there. Well, if you speak Spanish you'll be fine ordering, if not you're screwed just like me. I pointed to something on the menu board and assumed by pointing to the item I'd get what I pointed to. Well, I didn't get what I wanted. I took a couple bites from it and it lacked taste and flavor. I ended just throwing it away, along with the $12 I spent for it. Olivo's serves a variety of Salvadoran foods, drinks, and deserts. My family and I dropped by for lunch. We ordered pan con Carne asada, pan con chile relleno, and a tamal de pollo. The food was delicious! I especially enjoyed the pan con chile relleno; soft bolillo bread filled with a meat filled chile relleno, lettuce, tomato, queso fresco, onion, and mayo. I would never order tamales here ever again the tamales weren't even cooked right was very mushy and there wasn't even green salsa in the tamales.. then also there was orange stuff inside it just didn't look right at all.. if I can give it 0 stars I would.. then the bread we ordered was very hard as well I do not recommend coming here for tamales read more

You should consider to stop serving this American Food. I mean, The Horchata was Spoiled, the Fries where to Greasy, the Meat in the Cheeseburger was smaller than the bun, the The Chicken Nuggets were, WAIT, THEY ARE NOT EVEN CHICKEN NUGGETS. There are so many different things that SUCKED that I didn't like or add into this review, but at least the Service was nice and the Ambiance was nice to, come here to CHILL AND CHILL ONLY. 2nd time I've been - finally writing. Great. Really fresh and good prices. I 1st had their pupusas - really good. This time their chicken soup and it came with a full plate as well - a lot of food and, again, very fresh. Totally recommend. The first time I came here I was shocked by the atole de elote it is amazing 10/10! Ambiance is beautiful and customer service is good. Very friendly staff. Would I purchase pupusas again? No. The curtido is slightly different and the pupusas are way too skinny $4.35. Great piece in the economy but they're lacking flavor from my point of view. I wish this business the best!
