I pulled into C & R Automotive on Sunday and met the owner standing outside in his church clothes. He said he would look at it on Monday. It was done by either Tuesday or Wednesday. Severe miss and needed a spark plug wire. $458.55 later, I picked up my car and vowed to never be bent over like that again from them. Absolutely ridiculous amount of money for the repair that was done. Spark plug wires are less then $40 for 6 on my 2007 Grand Prix.

How could I be calling her a liar if he was standing next to her listening to the conversation?? Little fella wanted an extra $200 from me so he could clean his tires. Not happening, he got to go back with his new mud and loss of a customer. The owner is a very high strung and unstable individual with a tendency to lie.

(I thought it odd that a repair/replacement of a liner surrounding a tire didn't require the removal of the wheel, but it apparently doesn't.) I was a customer of Dave's and was disappointed to see that they had been taken over by B Street. However, I found the new shop to be very clean, attractive, modern (but with cool old automotive signs) and spacious, and the people are just as friendly and professional. The work got done as fast as possible and they took care of dealing with my insurance company when my insurance company was dropping the ball. I HOPE I never have to come back, since that means something bad has happened to my car but I would not hesitate to return to B Street - Irvington if that was the case. RECOMMENDED!
