I stopped to charge super hungry and food trucks always been here but I've never ordered from there. I just ordered fries and they are divine perfection. Or i was just that hungry seasoned perfectly, nice and hot. Plenty in a serving. They also offered a vegan hamburger. Not sure if they have anything gluten-free. What a great place! Charged the car while wine tasting. I thought it was a joke when I first read this. It's not. It's an Oregon experience! The atmosphere has been spruced up from an old gas station. It has a sweet vibe with all the essentials (Tesla charger, food, toilets & wine). The toilets are clean, the chargers are FAST & the wine is great. Being gluten free I didn't try the food but heard people raving about it. read more

I had an awesome grilled chicken sandwich (big, juicy chicken breast) and the rest of our group had cheeseburgers. The employees were friendly and accommodating. I'm usually at a Supercharging station 15 or 20 min max an off to my destination. This was once of the few times I wanted to stay longer. A true gem waiting for you along I-5 for all your food, beverage, and Tesla charging needs! Usually driving along I-5 I'm trying to get from point a to point b without stopping to smell the roses, but Olsen Run Winery is a fun and unexpected place to stop. It appears out of no where along a stretch of highway and grass fields, and it is an awesome place to stop and eat (but it's not hidden...there's signs on both sides of the freeway, so it's pretty hard to miss). Personally, I'm a fan of their bacon cheeseburger and fries, but I've tried pretty much everything on the menu and nothing disappoints (the veggie patty is also surprisingly delicious and different from your typical roadside veggie patty). Everyone who works there is super friendly and welcoming. If you're traveling with your canine companions there's tons of space for them to roam and sniff. Also, the bathrooms are super clean and spacious (helpful if your canine companions don't let you go to the restroom alone)! There's indoor and outdoor seating, so you can be comfortable in any weather Oregon throws your way. If you happen to be lucky enough not to be the driver, you can enjoy a wine tasting or even a glass (or bottle) of wine. My favorite is the traditional method sparkling wine, but having tasted up and down the Pacific Northwest, I find that all their wines are a wonderful representation of the Willamette Valley, but also have a unique quality that sets them apart. Oh, and the wine slushies! Come on! We're not talking some slushie machine full of sugar and juice. These are made with real fruit and wine, and they are not only refreshing, but also delicious! They even have comedy shows and live music on certain nights. And, for you Tesla drivers, there's a bunch of charging stations. I don't have one myself, but after sitting in a scary parking lot somewhere in Northern California for an hour waiting for a friend's Tesla to charge (with no food or bathrooms nearby), this seems like the place to be if you are in need of a Tesla charge. Definitely worth a stop if you're driving through or live in one of the nearby areas. read more

We learned about this place from a friend who owns a Tesla and charges there and on our way back home from Modesto, CA to Washington state it was time for a late lunch and so we gave them a try. As you can tell by the previously posted photos, it's drive-thru style 'food truck' that also accommodates walk-ups. The menu is limited and I wasn't that hungry so we decided to split a Philly cheese steak sandwich. It took 10-15 minutes for our order to be delivered to our car because it was a Saturday on Memorial Day weekend and they were busy. As soon as my wife opened the tin foil wrapping that wonderful, unmistakable smell engulfed our olfactory systems, resulting in the immediate side effect of uncontrollable drooling. The sandwich had been cut in half per my wife's request and in a matter of seconds, after figuring out how to avoid making a huge mess in the car, we were both devouring a great looking sandwich. And it tasted as good as it looked too. What a wonderful surprise Olsen Winery is for those that don't want get entangled in the Eugene traffic as they are ideally located less than 1 minute off I-5. My only wish now is that they could open earlier and serve some breakfast menu items because we roll thru so ear;y in the morning when heading back south again to Modesto. read more

Great food. Since they opened they have always consistently had great food. The owners are so friendly and very personable. I live in Harrisburg so it's so nice to have somewhere that you know the food is going to be good. They always have some event on the weekends, which is fun. It's always clean and just a happy place to go. Everyone should try at least once. You will go back!! The wine that they bottle and sell is great too. Can't remember where she said their vineyard is so I won't guess but if I remember correctly pretty close between here and Portland somewhere. My only wish is for these people, with their amazing food (and milkshakes), and happy personalities, to replicate this place AT EVERY SUPERCHARGER LOCATION everywhere. What a pleasant surprise. Nothing else around. At first driveup it looks like a former gas station with some chair scattered around and a funky box with a window in it. But, upon further inspection one finds something wonderful. A Philly cheese steak with three different cheeses that tastes perfect. A strawberry shake made with real strawberries and perfectly thick. A clean, cool bathroom. Sat at one of the tables and enjoyed the food and an evening breeze gently blowing by. They will even deliver to your car. Tesla needs to work with these guys to franchise what they're doing and put them at all Supercharger spots. Thank you to Olsen Run Winery for a really pleasant experience. read more

A must-stop for Tesla charging or just mouth-watering delicious burgers. When I first found this place, I thought it was random and hesitated on buying food. Luckily, my son was hungry and we tried a few items. By our 3rd or 4th order, we were in love with the place. Below are items we ordered (quantities left out) on our road trip north. It was so good we decided to "charge early" and make a stop here for more food on our ride back. Ambiance - so much outdoor seating especially in the fully furnished garage w comfy chairs and tables for large groups. Service - The family owned team is amazing with the husband pouring the free wine sample while chatting it up. The wife taking orders and I think the brother managing the grill. They are one of the friendliest people you can meet. Food - Saving the best for last. The onion rings are so crunchy and fresh. We ended up ordering a second order bc we enjoyed it so much. I had a wine frosty and it was delicious. Hands down one of the best burger I had. When I first entered, of course I was skeptical of the wine. However, how can you say no to free wine. I really enjoyed the Pinot noir reserve but my favorite was the sauvignon blanc. We of course left with a bottle and plan to stop again during our next trip north. Raw chicken sandwich alert! I recently stopped with my family to charge our car and to eat at the food cart. We three each had a chicken sandwich. I was three bites in when I took a moment to look at what I was eating: The chicken breast fillet, probably 3/4" thick, was cooked about 1/8" on the outsides, but the inside was completely raw and completely uncooked and cold. I spit out what was in my mouth, and without much fanfare or recognition that eating raw chicken is a bad thing I was given another sandwich. Matching the timelines for a campylobacter bacteria infection (a bacteria that occurs in chicken), I became seriously ill two nights later. I was extremely sick for over a week, and during that time I needed to go to the emergency room at the Oregon coast where we were vacationing for fluids and medication. My physician at home identified campylobacter as the likely culprit, and though there is not actual 100% proof, it came from the raw chicken sandwich. Suffice it to say that I will never eat at Olsen Run again. I also lost my vacation due to this. read more

I can't tell you how many times I've passed this place. Decided on a whim to go there today. Loved every bit of it. Ordered the cheeseburger and steak fries with a milkshake. The atmosphere was very chill while I waited for my food. When the food arrived, it was fresh and oh so good. If I could change anything, I would add a bit of salt and pepper to the burger but that is MY personal preference. The food was hot and fresh, fries were nice and crispy, and the shake was delicious! Seriously, if you are on I-5 between Eugene and Albany, or even just visiting one of those two places, it is worth the 20 min drive! Will DEFINITELY be back! read more

I am a brand new Tesla owner and still getting used to the whole 'where to charge along the route', thing. I now know there are apps for that, but when stumbling across this place on my way back to Los Angeles from Seattle, I was still sort of just trusting the navigation system. What an absolute gem this is in about every way imaginable! First, the owners couldn't be nicer people. They were great and happy to tell us all about the good stuff they cook. I can't recommend the PHILLY GRILLY enough! Awesome! They're known for their great wine and I hear the milkshakes rival just about any place around. The vibe was so cool, we even met a couple of other travelers and joined them for an early dinner. Exchanged cards and will be meeting down in LA for a Dodgers/Giants rivalry game next season! One of the better charging stations I've stopped at. Doing a round trip from Whidbey Island to San Antonio in my MY. Small, quiet and rural, with wine tasting and a very good food stand. Oh, and 2 Harley's parked out front with one of the riders asking if I had a pair of pliers - this I had but I did have to ask how they could be riding Harleys and not have a set of tools! I had a great conversation with the hostess as she poured some tastes. I liked the wine (don't let the label throw you) and went for the buy 3 and get the 4th one free. I headed up the road with a chicken sandwich on a brioche bun, very good and freshly made. I liked the comment about Tesla franchising these guys to have them at more chargers! read more

Probably the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had. Really thick slice of sausage, two eggs and a tasty bun and sauce. I was so sad when it was gone (but it was pretty big). If you're ever driving by this little gem while they're open you owe it to yourself to stop and get the breakfast sandwich! Go for the music!! I heard about it on Facebook and didn't see much online so I wasn't sure if we should go. It it wasn't a far drive so we thought we would go check it out. Although it was just an old gas station with a food truck (not a typical "winery experience) we had such a good time! They had free live music with a talented musician and great sound quality, comfy chairs set up, a little area for kids to hang out with a huge rabbit for petting. The food cart served "froses" (adult frozen rose slushees) along with beer, wine sodas and smoothies. We didn't eat the food but the service was top notch. The people there were so accommodating and friendly. It was a truly beautiful experience and we will be back!! read more
