    Pastrami Reuben Sando
    Lauren W.

Best beer cheese soup in town! The candied bacon was subtle since it was blended in the soup and absolutely perfect! 5++ stars!!! Pastrami Reuben Sando - one of the best we've had. Would had liked a little more sauerkraut and more even distribution of meat in the sandwich (it was piled up in the middle), but the beer braise was a nice touch on the Pastrami and everything else about it was fantastic! 5 stars! Housemade root beer - very carbonated and nice sweetness. Reminiscent of old fashioned root beer. Excellent! 5 stars! Top notch friendly service and very kiddo friendly. Careful of long wait times on weekend. This place deserves a much higher rating... excited to try their other options!!!

Inside of the HH mozzarella stick, large but expensive for 3.

We were staying next door and walked over for a bite and drink. When we walked in we noticed the environment isn't too inviting, very dark and cold. We normly sit at the bar anyways so we had a seat in their handful of bar tables. The service was very good, the bartender was attentive, recommended beers and brought over tasters. We ordered mozzarella sticks off the happy hour menu and a couple of burgers, one with garlic fries and one with sweet potato waffle fries. The mozzarella sticks were $9 and while large, there were only 3 of them so pretty expensive for the portion. They were good but not worth the money. The burgers and fries were all solid, both fries were crispy and tasty. Overall it wasn't a bad visit, but the environment just isn't comfortable or inviting. It wouldn't be my first choice in the area

I went by Hop Valley last night since I'm traveling for work and was staying in the nearby Courtyard Marriott. I was so pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food here! My Chicken Cobb Salad was huge and just what I was craving. My server was lovely and she was super on it the entire time I was there. It is slight dark in there, to be expected by a place that specializes in draft beer, but the ambiance was lively with locals. I would definitely return!

A group of 10 car folk from Southern CA on their way to Victoria BC had dinner at Hop Valley 7/15/25. John did an outstanding job as our server and the food was amazing! The group tasted a lot of primo beer and delicious food! Thanks John for taking such good care of our group!

Super busy valentines night. Attentive pleasant Server name starting with J. Good quality food and excellent flavor for the French dip sandwich - one of the best I have had in recent memory. Chicken strips lacked favor. Fries good. Perfect stop for a solid meal convenient to local hotels.

Five star onion rings! The best ever! Perfect balance of bread to onion ratio, amount of crisp to squish, and just the right seasoning. We had some sandwiches and a big salad too. They were typical brewery fair but those onion rings were memorable!

Stash Panda, a very refreshing IPA!

I have had two beers that I have really enjoyed from Hop Valley recently. The first one was their Light Me Up Lager. A clean, sweet and hoppy lager. Very drinkable! It's similar to what the big corporate breweries have along the lines of a Coors Light. But the craft beer version of this beer is always better and this excellent, lager easily passes that test with ease. The next beer I enjoyed was their Stash Panda. This is an IPA with heavy emphasis on tropical and grapefruit flavor specifically along with bitterness and hopiness. A very good IPA. I can't say for sure but I believe this is my first beer experience with Hop Valley and I must say I'm impressed!

"Burger without a Name" and Cajun fries. Tasty and hit the spot!

It's not elegant. But I've yet to have a bad meal here. The food is surprisingly good. Black bean burger was great!

    Is there a happy hour?

    Yes Sunday-Thursday 3pm-6pm

    Is this place dog friendly?

Considering you have to walk through the restaurant to get to the outdoor seating, I would assume no. The Eugene location is dog friendly.

Not too noisy for a tavern, full selection of beer and wine. Burger came out just the way I like it, medium rare and the fries were nice and crisp. I will be stopping back here on my way back to CA.

Last time we came for brunch, we noticed the eggs Benedict no longer has the amazing Parmesan-crusted potatoes. The hollandaise is still decent and the focaccia bread is great, but losing that crispy crust was a big bummer. Today's visit for our usual wings and nachos was even more frustrating. First, they no longer offer ground beef for the nachos. We were told we could substitute steak, but that literally doubles the price of the dish. We opted for chicken instead, which was a steep $7 extra for maybe two ounces of meat. When the nachos arrived, they looked like low-effort, homemade oven nachos with just melted cheddar on top. The whole thing was fused together into one giant sheet of chips; we had to break it apart and manually pile the toppings back onto the chips ourselves. It was really weird. The biggest letdown, though, was the wings. It used to be a solid order of six traditional flats and drums. Today, we paid $14 for just four pieces, and they weren't even wings--they were frenched chicken thighs. Subbing a completely different, lower-quality cut of meat without telling the customer is false advertising, and they turned out dry. Plus, the sauce has changed from a traditional Frank's-style buffalo to a harsh cayenne sauce. Between the wings and the nachos, today's total came out to $34--and $40 with a tip. Paying premium prices for dry thigh meat, overpriced add-ons, and a block of fused-together nachos makes it really hard to justify coming back. I'm not sure if North Fork got bought out or what, but I really don't see a point in returning.
