Avgolemono Soup and Grecian half chicken with potatoes and rice pilaf.

We love this place! Best food in Albuquerque, we eat here at least once every visit. 40 years of amazing service and the best authentic Greek food!

Stopped by since we were in the area running errands. My girlfriend was craving the potatoes they serve here. We ordered hummus, potatoes, chicken salad, and a lamb sandwich. Everything tasted good with no complaints. It was right about noon on a Saturday when we came in and it wasn't too busy. Order up front and pickup your order. The place has a Greece theme in the interior and the place was clean. We parked on the side of the street, which was clear, but the area can get crowded quick since it's right by the university. The area can be a little sketchy due to the amount of homeless people around.

Pastitsio was unrecognizable an inedible. The soup was a lemon no chicken flavor. So bad I thru it away and ate a PBJ sandwich.

We saw this restaurant on a tour we took in Albuquerque. It's located across from UNM (University of New Mexico). We ordered the grecian chicken dinner w potatoes and the lamb gyro. After sitting at our table for a few minutes we were informed that they were out of lamb. We got the recommended substitute. The food was okay. The salad and potato was extra vinegary. The greek chicken was tender but lacked taste overall. Would I come back while visiting, probably not. The price point was acceptable.

What was even better was the taste of both the Gyro and the feta fries. As you can see from the photo the Gyro was stuffed full of meat and other goodies while the feta fries were plentiful and all covered with sauce and seasonings. Absolutely delicious. I can't comment on the ambience because I got delivery, as usual. But the delivery went smoothly, and as stated above, the presentation of the food was stellar. I also had a second order from them about six weeks later that I ordered with several friends. Again, the food's presentation was appealing, and the food was great. My friends also indicated that their salad and Mediterranean sampler were delicious. I will definitely be ordering from them again, and I don't think you'll be disappointed if you do the same.

Having the brewery across the street and lots of door dash orders meant that dining in orders took a lot longer than we anticipated. It would be great to have some blinds for the hot afternoon sun, every seat was in the sun and hot. We also had to go back to the counter to ask for our baklava that they didn't bring out to us.

We arrived a few minutes after noon on a Saturday and were promptly seated. Our waitress took drink orders and returned to answer our questions and take our orders. We had a lamb gyro, lamb kebab and my daughter ordered a plate with a sweet rice, falafel, hummus and a Mediterranean salad. Everyone was more than pleased with the flavors of their dish. We shared tastes around. I found the rice interesting, but prefer more savory when accompaniment to an entree. The marinated lamb for the kebab was outstanding and the meat cooked perfectly. I even tried the hummus which to my surprise was very good. I do not as a rule enjoy chick peas, but this mix was delightful. The restaurant itself carried the desired theme, even offering traditional low seating for those who wish that feeling. Solid five stars. I'd give extra to the wait staff for how they dealt with the chronic complainer at the next table, if Yelp would allow that extra. If you're looking for outstanding Mediterranean cuisine, give Pars a try.

Dorothea's is a nice white table cloth restaurant that feels upscale but still homey enough to bring our soon to be 2 yo grandson. We had: Steamed clams 5/5: The clams were prepared, presented and flavored well. There were 2 clams that didn't open so it would have been nice if they just removed them instead of tempting us to pry them open (which would be bad clams) but the other clams were so good we wanted to open them! The sauce was a little too wine-y for me but I can see how some people would enjoy dipping the bread they give you into it. Crab mac and cheese 5/5: Wow. The bechamel sauce was so rich and creamy! Good chunks of crab made this mac and cheese so decadent! Greek salad 4/5: This was fresh and tasty but I was a little surprised by how small the salad was considering all the other dishes have such an amazing price point! It would serve once person well. Lobster pasta 5/5: Nice spicy kick that hits you later. Good chunks of lobster and the pasta was so light! I forgot to ask if it was fresh pasta or not. Maybe a question for our next visit! Niko gyro 5/5: the meat was good but what made it amazing was all those nice shoestring fries on top! The fries also had some kind of spicy pepper on top that gives it the extra kick! Traditional gyro 4/5: This was just your traditional gyro with fries. It's good but it doesn't seem fancy! Overall I love this place! The price point is amazing and if we have the time I would definitely like to come again with the family. The service was great with our waiter David filling our water glasses without us having to ask. He also cleared the table and was easy to talk to. Love this place!

My favorite were the little neck clams, lamb lollipop, and Greek plate. The Saganaki, crab stack, and tiropita were just okay. Lamb Shank: This was one of the best entrees ordered. The meat was fall apart tender and flavorful. The orzo was a little watery but was cooked to the correct doneness. Branzino: I assumed that this would be a whole branzino fish but they had already taken it apart which was nice. However, there were a couple of bones that were missed. Crab Mac: This was cheesy and very good. My only grip is that the pasta was a little overcooked. Service: 5 The servers were patient with all the questions and orders from a big group. They did not make any mistakes and food came out at good intervals. Ambiance: 5 The restaurant would be perfect for a date night. It wasn't too noisy and offered a little privacy between tables.
