"The Lobo" Super Gyro with Fries
    Daniel D.

You know it's been a long minute since I've walked in this place. It brought back so much nostalgia from my college days. I remember hitting this place up at least once a week for the lobo super gyro. The staff always welcoming. The place was like a living time capsule. Nothing was different from what I'd remembered other than a flat screen in the dining area which I absolutely loved. Well spoiler alert you already know what I went in for. That's right, the lobo gyro! I made it a combo with the fries and a refreshing Pepsi. It's not often I drink soda but I figured it was a special occasion. The meal was out fairly quickly. I was so eager to get my food I found myself almost grabbing the wrong order when I heard the staff call out a number. I really should've read the receipt! Lol The gyro was just as I'd remembered. I had that Harold and Kumar moment when they finally got White Castle. This was my White Castle. I savored every bite. The meat so juicy, and seasoned well combined with the sauce and onions, it was heavenly. The fries of course were the perfect encore to a delicious dinner. It goes without saying I'll definitely be back. My only complaint is the parking situation. They got rid of the lot behind the restaurant unfortunately. Now it belongs to an apartment complex. Sadly that area has joined the downtown trend of paid parking. Free parking is quickly becoming a mythical thing of the past.

We love this place! Best food in Albuquerque, we eat here at least once every visit. 40 years of amazing service and the best authentic Greek food!

Stopped by since we were in the area running errands. My girlfriend was craving the potatoes they serve here. We ordered hummus, potatoes, chicken salad, and a lamb sandwich. Everything tasted good with no complaints. It was right about noon on a Saturday when we came in and it wasn't too busy. Order up front and pickup your order. The place has a Greece theme in the interior and the place was clean. We parked on the side of the street, which was clear, but the area can get crowded quick since it's right by the university. The area can be a little sketchy due to the amount of homeless people around.

    Pastitsio that was delivered

Pastitsio was unrecognizable an inedible. The soup was a lemon no chicken flavor. So bad I thru it away and ate a PBJ sandwich.

We saw this restaurant on a tour we took in Albuquerque. It's located across from UNM (University of New Mexico). We ordered the grecian chicken dinner w potatoes and the lamb gyro. After sitting at our table for a few minutes we were informed that they were out of lamb. We got the recommended substitute. The food was okay. The salad and potato was extra vinegary. The greek chicken was tender but lacked taste overall. Would I come back while visiting, probably not. The price point was acceptable.

We arrived a few minutes after noon on a Saturday and were promptly seated. Our waitress took drink orders and returned to answer our questions and take our orders. We had a lamb gyro, lamb kebab and my daughter ordered a plate with a sweet rice, falafel, hummus and a Mediterranean salad. Everyone was more than pleased with the flavors of their dish. We shared tastes around. I found the rice interesting, but prefer more savory when accompaniment to an entree. The marinated lamb for the kebab was outstanding and the meat cooked perfectly. I even tried the hummus which to my surprise was very good. I do not as a rule enjoy chick peas, but this mix was delightful. The restaurant itself carried the desired theme, even offering traditional low seating for those who wish that feeling. Solid five stars. I'd give extra to the wait staff for how they dealt with the chronic complainer at the next table, if Yelp would allow that extra. If you're looking for outstanding Mediterranean cuisine, give Pars a try.

What was even better was the taste of both the Gyro and the feta fries. As you can see from the photo the Gyro was stuffed full of meat and other goodies while the feta fries were plentiful and all covered with sauce and seasonings. Absolutely delicious. I can't comment on the ambience because I got delivery, as usual. But the delivery went smoothly, and as stated above, the presentation of the food was stellar. I also had a second order from them about six weeks later that I ordered with several friends. Again, the food's presentation was appealing, and the food was great. My friends also indicated that their salad and Mediterranean sampler were delicious. I will definitely be ordering from them again, and I don't think you'll be disappointed if you do the same.

Having the brewery across the street and lots of door dash orders meant that dining in orders took a lot longer than we anticipated. It would be great to have some blinds for the hot afternoon sun, every seat was in the sun and hot. We also had to go back to the counter to ask for our baklava that they didn't bring out to us.
