    The trifecta

I stop here when I have money to get a good cup of coffee after dropping my kid off at the school bus stop. I got something called the trifecta. Sweetheart espresso was bitter for me, but it got my migraine under control. The service was great. No indoor seating, but I like their courtyard a lot.

Hearing that there's a specific coffee place in Olympia really perked my interest. It gotta be good for it to have the city in its name! The location that my friends and I went to is the one on Harrison Ave NW, across of Koibito Sushi Japanese restaurant. There's a lot for parking but the coffee shop itself is relatively small and doesn't take much space. I got their seasonal latte which was Honey Lavender Latte in a 12 oz. cup. I thought it was pretty pricey for the small coffee. The coffee in my opinion was just mediocre. It was an interesting combination of both lavender and honey. I first tasted the honey which was really syrupy and then a hint of lavender. The flavor wasn't my favorite, but it wasn't too bad. I'm also more of a roasted coffee kind of girl, and this latte had no hint of that whatsoever. I don't know if I ordered the wrong kind of drink. Overall, I thought the drink was okay. It's different with their seasonal latte but didn't wow me much.

Premium coffee with friendly service in a cozy spot! The mochi donuts are so good. They sell coffee beans and cute stickers too

The lavender pear latte is the best coffee I've ever had. You can tell it was made with intention. My husband and i love this place. The employees are really nice too and i love the vibe of the little shop.

Omg this little place is the cute and omg let's talk about the lemon olive oil bread. If you don't get it, you're not living. Ask them to special make you a latte with honey and cinnamon at the bottom steamed milk! It's a favorite of mine from Chicago called "honey oat" and they made it perfectly

    Cappuccino and chai latte

Great ambience and an amazing cappuccino! Barista's were great, can't wait to come back

Exceptional coffee in a tiny shack on the west side. Nice baristas, good music, worth stopping for.

Not much to say about it, solidly good coffee and not too pretentious. Fast service, a little pricey.

This is smaller mall and the food/drink options are somewhat limited here.. After walking the entire mall and seeing what they're currently offering, I'd say Northwest Grind would probably be your best bet aside from Stack 571 which is the restaurant near their movie theater. I love the overall look and variety here. I got a cinnamon roll which was just as good if not better than Cinnabon's roll and an iced green tea but there's plenty of other items like breakfast sandwiches, charcuterie and a buffalo chicken sammich that I'd really like to try next time I'm around! They also sell CBD gummies at the register which is pretty cool ! Give them a go if you're at the Capitol Mall and in the mood for something that's not Panda Express or Charley's Subs.

We ordered the avocado toast, chickpea sandwich, and coffee, and everything was delicious. The atmosphere is the real standout. Stopped here for a breakfast. Ordered: 12 oz of Earl Grey,…read more16 oz of Latte, Lavender Scone, Sundried Tomato Scone, Maple Pecan Scone, Panini Sandwich. Total $61 including a tip. We somehow spaced it that the cafe served only plant based food and only realized it after we took couple of bites because the food had unpleasant aftertaste. The pros: 1. Appreciate the support for LGBTQ 2. Appreciate the idea of "plant based" food 3. Nice atmosphere The cons: 1. The 12 oz cup of tea and the 16 oz cup of latte were served in the 12 oz mugs. We paid for a 16 oz latte. 2. Early Grey was of poor quality. Not much flavor. 3. The scones tasted ok, but not like true traditional scones. I presume it is because they are plant based. 4. Shortly after eating a sundried tomato scone I started feeling nauseated and developed a headache which lasted for several hours after. I do not have food allergies, I do though react poorly to heavily processed food. Knowing my body very well this makes me wonder about the quality of ingredients used. Plant based food is a very noble idea and is better for health and environment when in its natural form (olive oil, veggies, whole grains, etc.), but unfortunately some products are often very heavily processed (plant based butter, cheese, etc.). I have no idea what those scones were made of. I will not eat other scones after this experience. 5. I took a bite of hubby's panini. It had an unpleasant aftertaste. 6. We paid for 3 scones. The cashier gave us only two. I thought that the third one would be brought out shortly with the rest of the order so I let the cashier to attend to the line behind us. When the 3rd scone wasn't brought out I approached the counter to ask about it. Another person that was standing there asked me if I paid for it.......Seeing so much suspicion on their face I told the person that I would like to wait for the cashier to see if she would remember me placing an order. To which that person responded - I believe you......This was not a pleasant experience and this is not sound customer service if you ask me. Instead of taking responsibility and checking their system, they made me feel like I was trying to get free food. A professional business should always prioritize making the customer feel heard and valued, rather than putting them on the defensive. The OK: Coffee was just ok. I personally wouldn't come back for it. Overall this is not my cup of tea. I wouldn't come back.
