These may be good doctors, but they did a procedure on me that was a complete waste of time and…read morethey had to know it. It cost my insurance thousands and I had to pay $500 out of pocket. This was a test procedure where they injected material into the nerves around my knees to see if a nerve ablation would be effective on my arthritis. They asked me my pain level when I arrived, and I told them I wasn't in any pain at that time. Then they kind of talked me up to level 1 or 2. (I hadn't been doing the things that hurt my knees due to being on vacation, and had spent the day before traveling on an airline.) If this procedure numbed the pain for a day they could tell that the permanent ablation would be effective, but since I wasn't in any pain at the time, the procedure would prove nothing and in fact was painful and induced discomfort due to pressure from all the fluid they injected. If I'd have known this at the time I wouldn't have let them do the injections, but they are the doctors, not me. They knew the "test" procedure wasn't going to show anything; That's why they talked my up on my pain level, but they did it anyway. ($$$$$) This not only cost me and my insurance money, but was painful and put me at risk of infection or complications for zero benefit to me. I figured this out when I read literature about the procedure after the fact. I called and I complained to one of the PAs, but nothing was ever done. For what it's worth, the offices appeared modern and clean and the staff was friendly.

Dr. Caflin is a jerk he shouldn't be a doctor his bedside manner is horrible my mom is a patient…read morehere she's been in pain management for over 20 years when he took over her care he took away almost everything she was on that helped her pain and if she says anything he threatened to take away the little that she does still get it's ridiculous, on top of that she just broke her leg had to have emergency surgery and he's demanding she comes in a for a count because the hospital sent her home with better pain controlling meds that he refuses to do for her, he treats my mom like she's a drug addict and is making her suffer and she's so scared to say anything to him because of the threats he's made about taking away the little amount of pain meds he gives her, go somewhere else, I live in wyoming and I myself am in pain management and the way he treats her just floors me, my pain doctor works with me and listens to me she would never put me in fear of talking to her and any good doctor wouldn't make their patient feel that way, I'm driving down to Oklahoma as fast I can get there and I will be getting her into a different office and consulting a attorney about suing for malpractice because that's what this is, he even went a step further saying when he sends her records to a different pain office he will put in it that she's drug seeking just because she wants a doctor that will listen to her and actually treat her pain because he won't if that's not malpractice I don't know what is. Nobody should be treated like this by their doctor the one person who is supposed to be there to help them.

But apparently even though they don't do surgeries there, they do that across the street So the famous Oklahoma spine hospital is only looking for injured patients to make money but not help the ones post surgery. Well played. What a garbage organization. Since my imgury I've met many people in my condition but don't worry I will never refer anyone to this dump. Hss as td to believe I left tx for "better healthcare" you guys are a joke

I had been referred by my old neuro surgeon to Dr. Daniel Harwell. Trying to make an appt to see…read morethis doctor has proven to be impossible! No matter who I talked to prior to moving here, including using their online contact us form to get established, and wait for however long for an appt, and with a referral (that NO ONE HAS EVER RESPONDED TO, and I was advised the referral department was backed up the first time I called (which was fine, I wasn't in state yet), that was over 2 months ago and still ZERO CONTACT, even after calling them) Also having my records in hand including all documentation and imagining on disc and electronically to being told to get those things and talked over by Nate the first time who had no clue what he was doing and had to keep asking the front end supervisor, he was nice though. Now today when I reached out to a very SNOTTY woman (I didn't bother to get her name), who absolutely had zero interest in helping me, and couldn't help herself but to talk over me. When I tried to tell her all of this was a referral and that I already have my records in hand, she continued to get worse talked over me still, at this point I'm DONE! I have given this provider and staff several chances to be the doctor and office I believed them to be and told they were and that's just not the case. Maybe the doctor is great but with staff like this NO THANK YOU! If you are looking for a headache then by all means, try these people otherwise hang up the phone and try elsewhere. I'd also like to add that if Kristen would like to learn to use her phone functions better, here are some tips: When calling a patient back just to hang up on them to be unprofessional, block your number or use your own personal phone instead of a business line. Yes I documented that too. I would also like to add that if the front desk transfers you a call and you don't want to take it or talk to that person, I suggest you mute your phone. Now we all know that phones can break, so I would also suggest disconnecting your headset, as I could hear every word you uttered and also putting me back on "hold" didn't stop me from hearing you or banging your handset on the desk for about a minute, before you actually picked up the phone to talk at me. Do better ma'am and have the day you deserve.
