However, the locals on the NextDoor app recommended Hiro Automotive, Hansville Automotive and the dealership in Bremerton. Noteworthy is that the vast majority recommended Hansville AR and not one said to stay away. All referrals had great things to say about Hansville AR, especially how good they were in explaining issues, advice and suggestions for DIY repairs and all around good customer service with "Fair" pricing (everyone is entitled to make a buck, just not to gouge) We called Hiro auto which specializes in Japanese vehicles stated they were not equipped to drain a gas tank. This is not a bad review of Hiro, just that it seems odd an auto repair would not be "Equipped" to drain a gas tank. Called the dealership that cited 5 hrs to drain & clean the tank at $125/hr. So we bit the bullet, reluctantly called Hansville A.R. and talked to Steven. He was polite, well spoken and not only confirmed a lot of the things we already knew, but added to our knowledge, walked us through exactly what he would do and indicated it should only take 1.5-2hrs to drain the tank and determine if anything was damaged at $100/hr. We decided to "chance it" and have AAA tow it over. When Phil the driver of the AAA truck showed up we asked him if he had any experience with Hansville A.R. and his comment was that he did not personally but that "since they got a new mechanic a few years ago" (bingo) he has heard nothing but good things and that he really knows his stuff. My official Review: We had the vehicle towed over at 1pm on Thursday, Steven said he was busy but knowing it was our All Wheel Drive vehicle and the largest snow storm in decades was supposed to hit Friday afternoon said he would do his best to get it to us as quickly as possible. I called at 4:45 and he said he had just started draining the tank and that his initial assessment was that there did not appear to be any damage, and that he could have us done and ready by 10am Friday as long as there were no surprises. At 9:30 am Friday I get a call from Steven who says he has had the car running for about 20 minutes on the fresh gas (we supplied one of our "correct" gas cans) and that the vehicle was ready to be picked up. $216 including tax........ Less than 24 hr service time, excellent communication, on time repair, no up-selling or "you really should....." comments and got us home before the storm hit. Hansville AR will handle all our non-warranty automotive repairs in the future. Thanks Steven

He said their distributor did not have one of the three cables. I went to Rockauto.com and they had all three. They will not buy from them. All my brake lights are on and they diagnosed eight codes. They replaced a $550 ABS pump and said it corrected 7 of the 8 codes. They said it will cost $4,000 to replace the ABS module to get the ABS light to go off. After a week I picked up vehicle, payed $1,300, and upon driving away all of the lights came on. After bringing it back I feel they changed the story to, they have to replace the ABS module to keep all the lights off. So after spending $1,300, my vehicle still has the same two issues wrong that I brought it in for.

So, I felt this was going to be a positive experience. Matt assured me he had lots of interest in Harley's as he had just sold one the prior week and would get mine on his updated website/Facebook soon. My periodic observation did not confirm his words. I was very ill and isolated at home for the next few months and wasn't able to stay on top of this process. To my knowledge, there's been no serious offers on my bike. 2011 XL883L HD with 400 original miles, so I wanted to discuss dropping the price. $5000 asking...no hanging tag on my bike in his shop. (seen through the window) I left a note on the door yesterday, 8-6-2020. The number to the business is disconnected, he is not answering me on his cell. As a combat veteran, I try to think outside the box and remain hopeful that this young man with over 20 years mechanical experience will do the right thing and face his customers as he is young and has many years of opportunity to experience. I am near to tears with what I discovered after taking my vehicle in for an oil change. A couple…read moreof days later I saw some pink liquid driping under my engine compartment. Come to find out of course it is radiator fluid. Then I look and see my engine cover riddled with oil everywhere in the groves as if hastily whiped off. I had just washed my engine compartment prior to bringing it in. Shame on them for that. I was told they checked all my fluids and lubricated joints etc. And that the air cleaner was fine for several hundred more miles. Hmm, no one took the cover off the air filter. There are two bolts that need to be removed and they were untouched., The 190 plus they are making an hour, you would think they would have could have taken the radiator cap off, but it was crusty around the edges and the fluid was rusty looking inside. They either didn't bother to look or did care to tell me. Shame on them either way. I am trying to take care of my car why would a professional not let me know the things it will need done. The interior cabin filter was also never looked at, even Jiffy lube looks for these money making items. So $250 plus dollars later, they left me with doubts about even getting a new oil filter, a leaking radiator with rusty water in it a severed hose leading to the engine air filter I should have been aprized of and two completely filthy air filters. And, and no itemized list of the points they checked and the condition there of. Now I see why. Shame on your workmanship and professionalism. Not even trying to help someone to care for thier car. Shame!

By golly, there's a replacement one in that aisle! It is similar to Harry Potter's room of requirement if everything required was small. The workers are extraordinarily friendly. They either really like their jobs or are award-winning actors because I am a believer. BTW, dogs and the humans get free treats (popcorn for humans). Know that they do not sell lumber. Also know, you can rent stuff like power washers, etc. So what's not to love? It's WAY better than some gwaddafful anonymous big box. Albeit some things are more expensive than...say Amazon, but that is small town life. I read the review that complained of all the merchandise there being from China. NOT 100% true because I bought a nice bird feeder made in the USA there, but yeah most of it is. Everything everywhere is made in China, not just at Henery's. Heck, your souvenir to remember your wonderful trip to "fill in the blank" (not China) was probably made in China. Caveat though. Because they are small (but mighty), you sometimes may need to go to said big box. Hopefully not though. P.S. There has been discussion in my household as to whether it is pronounced with two syllables (HEN-RYS) or three (HE-NER-IES), so if someone with certain knowledge of it can clear that up, it would end that discussion once and for all.
