I just had to write a review here, hoping no one else has the issue I have had. Sometime ago, I purchased smoke/heat detectors, water leak detectors and a carbon monoxide detector from Olympic Health and Safety. I worked with Angela and she was GREAT! I feel so much safer with these detectors. I have since moved from the area and I am considering myself SO fortunate to have these detectors as the house I rented in my new location didn't have any detectors. I told Angela by text message how I felt but then I told her about smelling a gas leak in my new rental. Angela told me about their gas leak detectors and based on my previous experience with Angela and Olympic Health and Safety, I immediately purchased 3 detectors. That was on September 12, 2023. As of September 29, 2023, I still do not have my detectors. I contacted Angela on September 20, 2023 for a status update on my gas detectors and was told that the owner, Brandon, had not even ordered my detectors. I spoke to Brandon and told him I wanted my detectors by September 27, 2023. On September 28, 2023, he called me and said that the detectors were supposed to be delivered directly to me but instead had been sent to his office. He "said" he would get them sent to me immediately and I suppose I will give it a few more days to get to me. I'm sadly disappointed in this service at this time. While I would still recommend the products, I would STRONGLY advise purchasers to stay on top of getting their products. read more

This place uses scare tactics to rush you in to a high pressure purchase of over priced smoke detectors!! Buyer beware!!!

The owner is not suitable to lead a team. He is not present, he expects others to run everything then berates their work, he does not order products, he does not provide products to customers who've already purchased, paychecks bounce, and when concerns are brought up he gaslights employees. He rarely shows up to work and often won't answer calls/texts from employees. He promises training and advancement but will not complete trainings and puts no effort into following through with helping employees advance. He makes excuses and blames everyone else for his actions and lack of action. He does not value his employees and he lacks integrity and has no self awareness of how his behaviors affect his employees and the customers. read more

I work for Olympic Health And Safety not only was this the worst place I've ever worked, but the sell tactic was pushy and borderline harassment. The owner of the building Brandon consistently told me to recall customers that told me that they were not interested in our product nor our services. He Had not advertised his business in well over two years when I started working for the company and when I tried to tell him that he needed to advertise so that we could get new customers so that we could sell our product, he basically belittled me and put it under as me not knowing what I'm doing. A month into me working there. He starts having issues with paying me. Like every time, I got a check, there would be some excuse for why he was always paying me late because he was going through this divorce and starting a new system and all of the stuff so this happens three times before I start getting very irate. He finally pays me, After this he basically says "all of your stuff is going to be fine. Direct deposit will be happening while I'm out of town for business this week" and then finally the 20th when I was supposed to get paid comes and I don't get paid and so I text him as I usually do And tell him I didn't get paid and he comes up with some bullshit excuse as to why I didn't and then he finally fired both me and my coworker saying that he was going to run the business as a one and two-man operation. Since then he has not contacted nor paid me, or my coworkers. THe actually blocked my number. Do not buy anything from this man. He is a scammer and a liar. He is completely dishonest, and he does not know how to run a business in the least bit. read more

Most surreal experience of my life. Dude would not leave my house, made several attempts to go further into my house. Would not take "no" for an answer. Continued to pitch well after it was clear he was making my children uncomfortable. Fear mongering and misinformation are heavily featured in the presentation. They use clips of fire officials recommending the maximum protection - well, good luck finding a fire fighter who actually recommends these products. This is an MLM. The products are not superior to other smoke/heat/water sensors on the market. The products have a negligible market share. MY ADVICE: don't rely on a multilevel marketing scheme for devices that your life might depend on. Don't even let them in the house. Save yourself 2+ hours and buy yourself whatever the free promotional item is. It's not worth your time. read more

Pros- The product sounds wonderful. If you have an opportunity to research on your own or purchase without the presentation, do it! Unfortunately, it was out of our budget. Cons- After being convinced to let them do a presentation to get the free emergency kit, we were pretty disappointed. The person we scheduled with on the phone told us the appointment would take about an hour, which is what we allowed (still needed to eat dinner and get kids to bed). The rep stayed for 2+ hours, and easily could have been there longer if I hadn't hurried it along. They were very aggressive and used fear mongering to try to sell us on the product. The final straw though was when the rep started to use the word "retarded". If we had been interested in purchasing before, we definitely were not after that. It was incredibly insensitive and inappropriate. read more

Matt Klinger came out to our home and did a phenomenal job of putting into perspective the importance of the products he was offering. He was very personable, shared a lot of his own stories with my family and I, and made me feel good about purchasing these products. While they seem spendy upfront, I have no regrets. I have so much more peace of mind when it comes to how these devices work and the fact that I can check into it all from my phone at any time is great. Really makes me feel like the products are there for me and the safety of my family rather than as a mere formality. I had no idea that the average mainstream fire alarm does relatively nothing for me and wouldn't let me know of a problem before it was too late. Not only do I know that these products are superior but I also have a lifetime guarantee with them-- should they be faulty in any way, they're covered forever. If you are fortunate enough to have Matt Klinger come visit your house, you're in for a treat. Great guy; friendly and not at all "salesman" like. I felt no pressure to purchase the product... but I'm sure glad I did. read more

I won a free emergency kit from a drawing they had at the Lakewood fun fest. I was contacted and set up my appointment for delivery of the emergency kit and demonstration. I ended up having to reschedule the appointment four times. This last time I was so frustration I told them I no longer wanted. I feel like this was done so they wouldn't have to give away a prize they offered at their own drawing. It's poor customer service and what could have been a five star review is instead a one star. Mind blowing information is all I can say. Before I learned the information that I did I thought my family was protected the most the could be for a home fire. I didnt know that normal smoke alarms that everyone has in there homes fail 35% of the time in all fires and in smoldering fires the failure rates are even higher. The companies that make these alarms even tell you this in their own warranties that nobody reads!!!! I chose to protect my family with the optimum protection because in my mind they are worth more than the bare minimum. Yes the optimum cost more than the minimum but if you are to add the cost of normal alarm with the cost of what it cost to have an electrician to install the wire and conduit plus the wires to link all the alarm the optimum protection that this company offers is not as expensive as the other option. If you don't believe me about the failure rates of normal alarms just google search this- failure rates of ionized(normal alarms) smoke alarms with newer synthetic materials. What it says there was the straw that broke the camels back to why I protected my family. Everyone today has large amounts of synthetic materials in their homes!! And I don't mean a little. I feel way better know my family has the optimum protection rather than something that may not alarm us when we need it most!!! This company can offer you that!!! read more

While the information was helpful and eye opening, they wanted us to pay almost $7000 to buy and install the equipment. The presentation itself took over 2 hours and included a "tour" of our house where she looked inside every room and closet, very invasive. The rep would not tell us how much each individual unit would cost, that she had to call her boss and "fight for us to get a good deal". We told her we weren't interested but she wouldn't take no for an answer, called her boss to try and work out a payment plan any way and then asked us if we had food to give to her food drive, which I felt was incredibly rude. After saying we weren't interested, she tried to persuade us for almost 45 minutes to buy from her and then got snippy and rude. As she was leaving she told us she wasn't "butt hurt or anything" but to call if we changed our minds. I would never buy from this company based off my experience with the sales person and because it is way too expensive. read more

Wow, what an enlightening evening! First off I want to thank this company for the time they spent with us making sure our family is educated and protected. The gift they brought us is WAY more than we were expecting and the whole time their representitive Brandon was very professional and informative. There is so much we didn't know about how protected (or in our case, how not protected) our family is in the event of an emergency. The whole time however Brandon made sure to take his time with us and I can honestly say that after having him here we feel safer and more prepared in the event we ever face a fire or other emergency in our home, and in the little time he spent with us, the information he provided may some day save my family's life. If you have the opportunity to meet with Olympic Health and Safety, do it. I already told my neighbor to call them because they have younger children and I know they will benefit even more than we did. Keep up the good work! read more
