I did a ton for research before visiting Olympic Trailer & Truck and narrowed my choices to a Lamar 5x10 mini-dump. Gary happily showed me the actual trailer, answered a few questions I had then we went back inside to complete the sale. The Title and registration process was made quick and easy by a very competent and pleasant woman but I unfortunately didn't catch her name. I arranged to pick up my new trailer the next day and when I arrived I decided to add a spare tire plus I needed to upgrade my towing equipment to exceed the trailer's 10K rating. They had everything in stock and when they brought my trailer to the front of the lot a few minutes later, they'd already mounted the spare tire. Two very efficient young guys prepped the trailer by torquing all the wheel lug nuts, attaching the trailer including the ball and coupler, safety chains, and breakaway switch to my truck, then testing the trailer lighting. No lights. Unfazed, they retrieved a testing kit from the shop and began troubleshooting and quickly determined the problem was in my truck's electrical system. We checked the basics, switches, connections and fuses - still no joy. Then Kyle came out to assist. Of course it was raining and the parking lot was wet and muddy but that didn't stop Kyle from digging deeper by laying under my truck to check 7 pin socket wiring. Kyle quickly determined that my truck's socket was the issue and, like a true professional, he quickly removed mine and replace it with a new one, with no hesitation or drama. This might seem routine to many but I've spent a great deal of time working in the trades and young men like Kyle are an unbelievably rare commodity. While everyone at Olympic Trailer & Truck was great, Kyle was responsible for completing my transaction with absolute satisfaction. read more

I found out the hard way that most trailer dealers stink. My first experience was with a company I'll call "Trailers-Minus". I tried to buy one of their trailers. After 2 1/2 hours while they did the paperwork, they determined they couldn't verify the funds in my account. It was a weekend so that made some sense. They told me to come back the next Saturday (everything was by appointment on their schedule not mine) with a cashiers check. I did exactly that. An hour and a half later I was told they couldn't verify funds for a cashiers check so I wasn't getting the trailer again. This was a 1 1/2 hour drive each way so it was a royal pain. Needless to say I cancelled the order. The next dealer advertised that they had 4 different trailers in stock that would fill my needs. I drove there to find they had none. Multiple calls revealed bad service and selection among more dealers. I didn't want to wait up to 20 weeks plus shipping time for them to build one for me. Then I called Olympic Trailers. They were professional and assured me they had what I wanted in-stock. I drove 130 miles one-way to pick it up. I got there and was treated professionally and in about half an hour or so I left with my new trailer. I would absolutely recommend them. BTW, the trailer was top quality, much better than the one at that other trailer dealer. read more

Bought 2 trailers from them. A 6x10 utility trailer in 2017 and a 5x10 dump trailer a couple Of weeks ago. The experience was very simple and their prices are competitive. Their trailers are great quality as well and they have a HUGE selection of every trailer or towing accessory you could ever need. I'm guessing by reading other posts mine was a rare occurrence but here it goes. I called inquiring about a rim and Spare Tire holder for my Load Trail dump trailer. I specifically asked if they had the one for the DS05 and they said they did (design is to slip in the stake pocket. I seen it on the main website for Load Trail trailers). My wife went to pick them up as we live in Puyallup and she works in Olympia. The spare rim was a match but the spare tire holder was not and a bolt on. So I thought and thought about it and finally decided I didn't want to drill holes in the side of the trailer so I had her return it. I also had her take a cap 2"×2" that covers the corners to see if they had any. The accepted the return and she told them why and the response was that they had that one so did she want that. She advised them I already bought the right one as the first time she was made to believe the one she got was the only style they had. They then said they had 1 of the caps and another that was pretty beat up but she could just have it and only be charged for one. We'll first we needed 3 and they charged her twice nit once for the cap. So I paid for one I didn't want but only accepted because they were supposedly giving to us. Picture. The one on the left is the one she brought. The middle is the one they were giving her at no charge because of the condition. The right is the new one we were only supposed to be charged for. I bought a trailer that didn't come with a spare tire so I called and set up an appointment to buy two and was told they wouldn't charge me for the installation. When I got there they charged me $100.00 to install them. I question the installation charges and told them I was told they wouldn't charge me for installation and they said they didn't say that. Then when I was getting ready to leave they said I needed to raise my weight distribution hitch they just installed 4 days earlier when I purchased the trailer and hitch. They refused to adjust the height of the hitch and told me it was my problem. I will never do business with this company in the future. read more

I love this place. I spent one hour there about four years ago purchasing a dump trailer for my landscaping business. Nothing fancy about it - just the best prices around. I went there knowing exactly what I wanted, having seen a craigslist post they had with the exact trailer I wanted. Anyway, I've been using this trailer pretty heavily for about 4 years now, with no problems whatsoever. I was a little nervous buying the cheapest-price one...but it is built solid and has been a good addition to our team. I'm only writing this review because as fate has it I now need a cargo trailer as well. After searching around in Washington & Oregon for good deals on good trailers, again, Olympic has the best prices I can find, with good selection as well. Ordered a part for my trailer and they misled me on how long it would take. When it came in I didn't have time to drive the 50 miles to pick up and gave them my debt card # to ship... I was surprised to see the $60 charge for such a small part so I called and was told "this isn't Amazon, we charged what UPS charged us". All I did was call to get information about "Load Trail" dump trailers. When Gary answered the phone it was if I was bothering him. He did not even both to ask for my contact information. I had to give it to him and then days later I never got a call. This place was one of two that sell this brand of trailers. I am much happier that I chose to go to Links Trailers in Lynden. They are AWESOME. They gave us "White Glove" service from beginning to end. I left there with a new trailer, could not be happier and NO buyers remorse. They are a family owned business and it shows in the way they treat every customer with respect and knowing its not easy to part with hard earned money. Your loss Olympic, maybe you need to get back to basics of customer service. Who cares if you think you are the "Largest" trailer dealer, when customer service is poor. read more

So this is the most unfriendly place I've been to in a while seeing how a utility trailer isn't cheap. Paid $2600 for a 12ft. Stopped in and stood in line without being noticed or helped. Too busy on the phone. Finally get recognition and I tell him I'm here to buy a trailer. Very cold and acted like I was bothering him. We went out back and I told him about what size I needed. Went over to one model and I told him I needed one with sides. Very rudely responded with, well these are the only trailer in this size. Ok dick show me a different size. Finally got the trailer I wanted. Went back in and still acted like I was bothering him. The only nice person there is Donna. Hannah needs some people skills as well. When someone says they're looking for you don't just say m'hmm m'hmm. Say yes I'm Hannah or something like that. Don't make people ask you if you are Hannah. Also stop saying m'hmm m'hmm. I searched craigs list for trailer wheels and tires looking to find a deal on a set that was an upgrade from stock. I specifically chose "by owner" to avoid dealers. After seeing an add for set I liked I clicked on "reply". There was just a name "Craig" and a number which is normal for a private party add. When I called I was told they were a dealer. This may seem small and insignificant to them but to me it shows they have no respect for the customer. I find it extremely aggravating that when I go out of my way to avoid dealers I am lured into one by deceitful marketing. To me it is a glimpse of a larger picture. By owner means private party and they know it. To intentionally deceive a potential customer shows no respect. read more

Owner was not much interested in negotiating a price but reluctantly came down a hundred bucks on a $4800 enclosed trailer and seemed quite put out. Anyway, imagine my disappointment when after doing all the paper work and putting on the upgraded tires, a DIFFERENT trailer shows up at the front lot for me to hook up to. I was tired, the owner had disappeared and this trailer seemed close enough ( except it was black and i wanted a white one). I hooked up and left. Never to return. read more

Brought my own Curt 5th wheel hitch to be installed in my 2015 Ford F-250. Gave truck to their installer and watched. Nice kid, but after the fact he obviously had little experience. He complained that he didn't have enough decent tools and no extra hardware. He decided to install the hitch rails on top of my bed liner. When he got done the were to huge bows in my rails where he sucked down the two ends without shimming them properly or at all and he didn't torque anything. Well also the rails weren't spaced right (about 1/4" off) so the hitch could not be attached. I came back the next day because I ordered a slider for my hitch from them. I was told to come back at 2pm because the part would be there, it was, but they didn't have a installer. They were going to use one of their lot boys. I told them to leave the rest of the parts in my truck and asked for a refund for the installation, because I had to take everything apart and do a proper install. They refused to refund my money for their crappy atempt. I told them to keep $50 for the actual time he spent doing the screwup and apply the rest towards the part I ordered. They refused again to give my money back for the messed up install I had to do over, so obviously they don't guarantee their work. I ended up leaving the very overpriced slider (almost $500) with them and left. I ordered the same part on line for less than $300 from a trailer company and there where more than 5 of them with the same much lower prices. I always try to use local businesses and don't mind paying a little more, but I won't let them rip me off either. I've also filled a dispupt with my credit card company to get my money back. I would highly recommend not using Olympic Trailer & Truck for anything they install, Because they won't stand behind and guarantee their shoddy work done by cheap, mainly unskilled labor. 4/9/16 read more

One of the most honest companies we have ever had the pleasure of working with. We were planning our first trip of the year with our travel trailer and when we tried to pull it with our truck the trailer wheels were locking up. We tried everything that we could think of to fix the issue. We found that if we unplugged our Prodigy electric brake controller that the wheels moved fine so we assumed that our brake controller was bad. We called Olympic Trailer and they said that they would take a look at it for us. Ryan came out to our truck with a tester and diagnosed that the controller was working appropriately and systematically went through everything he could think of that may be causing the issue. He mentioned the emergency brake line and I'm embarrassed to say that the emergency brake line had indeed come disconnected and that was what was causing the issue. They could have taken us for a lot of money if they had been dishonest as we were prepared to pay anything to get on the road. Thank you Olympic Trailer, we need more companies like yours! read more
