I honestly can say I do not know where I would have turned had Tabitha not been willing to take so much time with me on so many different days.

Also I requested that the hitch and locking pin used to bring my trailer in with be returned to me. I made it very clear and spoke to Tabitha and another lady there strongly stating I would need that pin and hitch back. Instead , they installed a new sway bar hitch and used the pin that I specifically requested them not to use. It was a unique situation as I had a buyer for my trailer coming to pick it up from their lot after they installed the new hitch. They did not explain to him how to use it after he was specifically told that they would explain that to him. The man and his wife had traveled all the way from Arizona to pick up this trailer. When I asked about the pin and the hitch that I had on there when I brought it in, They gave me the hitch back without the pin. The man opened the gate and said it wasn't his job, he wasn't supposed to be helping us at all, He was just a part salesman. Then he directed us to take it to the service center , which was a parking lot over. He came over there and tried to pull the pin out of the trailer hitch. When that didn't work , I went to the service center and asked the men that we're working inside if they were the ones who installed the new sway bar hitch. They were very rude and seemed super arrogant and very defensive, although I asked if they could please Remove the pin and put the pin in that came with new one they installed. He seemed bothered I would even ask. He then went to the parking lot and said there was no way to get the pin out unless he took the hitch off. Said he would be right back. He never came back out. The man that came to purchase my trailer had to call the manager. Their solution was to give me a new locking pin. Their attitude was as if they were doing us a favor. The attitudes of the service workers were terrible and they never did explain to the man that purchased my trailer or myself, what exactly was done or how to properly work the hitch. In addition to that, they told the man who was purchasing my trailer and truck false information and even went as far as appraising my vehicle. Basically told him it wasn't worth his purchase. Also had various pricing. Told the man it would cost $500 for an inspection and then told me $800. They lied pretty much about everything. After all this happened I shared this story with some locals, turns out they are known for their arrogant I am better than you attitudes. I wouldn't recommend this place to anybody.

We took John Coumbs our RV travel trailer to sell on consignment. I dropped it off the first week…read moreof July and was told it would be gone through by there tech team professionally cleaned and put on the line to sell. I was told if there was anything wrong I would be contacted promptly. After 2 weeks and no posting on there web page I grew suspicious. I contacted John with no return call, I waited another 2 weeks and finally got a hold of John Coumbs. He the told me He had been meaning to call but just kept forgetting for the last 2 weeks. It seems they found an issue with my rv and declined to sell it. I arranged for pickup and showed up to do so and he informed me they had been broken into in the secure lot and my batteries and propane tanks were taken. He did replace the batteries and tanks and said the tanks were full and ready to go. I should have double checked and when I did they were empty. A $500.00 deposit was paid for said services and nothing was returned. I had asked for a detailed list of there check out and never received one after repeated requests. I asked there Tech who checked it out and he said the unit was good and he would use with no worries. John's repeated lies, forgetfulness, misleading have lead me to NEVER NEVER do business with this company again. If they did not want to sell and contacted me right away I would be fine. However John's lies, misleading, lies, and lack of communication I would/could never recommend this company to anyone.

I had a frustrating experience with Ernie's RV & Trailer Repair…read more I brought in my Class C RV because I wanted a proper inspection, specifically to have the brake pads checked. Another shop had already told me they couldn't lift the RV, which is exactly why I sought out a place that could handle a full inspection. When I scheduled the appointment, I clearly explained this situation and my expectations. The day after I dropped off the rig, I received a call saying the RV was ready and that nothing was wrong. I was charged about $280. When I arrived to pick it up, I asked for an inspection report or details on what was checked, and it became clear there was confusion. After asking directly what work had been done, I was told they had only performed an oil change. This was extremely frustrating because that was not what I brought the RV in for. I had been very clear that I needed a full inspection due to the previous shop not being able to lift it. They did offer for me to bring the RV back at another time, but when I asked about the cost for the inspection, I was quoted over $450 on top of the $280 I had already paid. This pricing was never discussed when I scheduled the appointment. Overall, my concerns are: -Lack of communication about pricing upfront. They need more transparency on their pricing and other reviews suggest the same -Not paying proper attention to the customer's request -Failing to perform the service that was requested There was no effort to offer a discount or solution to make up for the inconvenience. I wanted to give them a chance despite some pricing concerns posted on prior Yelp reviews, but unfortunately, my experience confirmed those issues. To be fair, the staff were friendly and professional. They are nice folks but, they need to work on some issues. In the future, I will be driving a few extra miles to get better and more competitive service.

Gary happily showed me the actual trailer, answered a few questions I had then we went back inside to complete the sale. The Title and registration process was made quick and easy by a very competent and pleasant woman but I unfortunately didn't catch her name. I arranged to pick up my new trailer the next day and when I arrived I decided to add a spare tire plus I needed to upgrade my towing equipment to exceed the trailer's 10K rating. They had everything in stock and when they brought my trailer to the front of the lot a few minutes later, they'd already mounted the spare tire. Two very efficient young guys prepped the trailer by torquing all the wheel lug nuts, attaching the trailer including the ball and coupler, safety chains, and breakaway switch to my truck, then testing the trailer lighting. No lights. Unfazed, they retrieved a testing kit from the shop and began troubleshooting and quickly determined the problem was in my truck's electrical system. We checked the basics, switches, connections and fuses - still no joy. Then Kyle came out to assist. Of course it was raining and the parking lot was wet and muddy but that didn't stop Kyle from digging deeper by laying under my truck to check 7 pin socket wiring. Kyle quickly determined that my truck's socket was the issue and, like a true professional, he quickly removed mine and replace it with a new one, with no hesitation or drama. This might seem routine to many but I've spent a great deal of time working in the trades and young men like Kyle are an unbelievably rare commodity. While everyone at Olympic Trailer & Truck was great, Kyle was responsible for completing my transaction with absolute satisfaction.
