I had a great (and frustrating) first visit to the Olympus Spa - Had the works: scrub, wrap, massage and moisturizer - WooHoo!!. There were just a couple of points I didn't know and hadn't found on either business web site or in the Yelp reviews. 1)They don't take American Express and 2) Gratuities must be paid by cash, check or ATM card. I thought I was being smart to only take a couple of cards from my wallet - less to worry about - bad choice on my part. After I got the initial payment part resolved, this first timer ran into some other challenges. I didn't wear my contacts and took off my glasses, so very short sighted person that I am, initially missed the American Showers (stand up) and only saw the Asian (sit on a bucket) and then didn't see the shower products, body wash, shampoo etc. It was later suggested that I add conditioner to my hair and leave it on under the cute pink cap until just before my final service - excellent idea. You can even bring your own products if you want. You can read the other reviews for accurate descriptions of the scrub (yes thorough!) and nudity. Since I couldn't see anything, I didn't worry about other women looking at me. During the scrub (10 women in close quarters, 5 naked) my eyes were shut to better enhance the sensations, don't know if others looked or not. I am glad I chose the massage even though other reviewers have suggested it was not needed. I like deep body work and the scrub and moisturizer were nice but not deep. The other piece of information that I missed in the other reviews was the facial work - magnificent. During the scrub there was a little exfoliating, but during the moisturizing session, there was slathering, and packing and hot towels and cold towels. This was a spa facial, no giant magnifying glass or black head removal but my face feels great. I think if I had to skip any service it would be the seaweed wrap, as enjoyable as this was (yes, I did nod off) I didn't feel the benefit that others might experience. The office staff did a good job of arranging my schedule with two 1 hour breaks between services to eat lunch and just relax in the rooms. The Yakatori in the restaurant was very good. Loved the options of the pools with various heat levels, the dry heated rooms and the steam sauna. I came home relaxed, moisturized and just a little fuzzy minded. Will I return? Sure thing already planning my next visit. I have given this a moderiate pricing because for $30 you have have a day pass to enjoy the pools and rooms for hours. read more

I went for the first time today with my best friend. It definitely exceeded my expectations when it came to relaxation. The salt room and the cabin room were my favorite. I get hot really easily so I could only stay in each hot room for about 5 minutes at a time. The cabin room was the only cool temperature room that was available. I wish they had some more that were close to the heated rooms so you can easily go back and forth. Also, more space in the pool areas would be nice. I was very happy with my visit though and would 100% recommend it to anyone needing to decompress. I just did the day pass and that alone was enough to make me serene. read more

I had a massage and it was very relaxing. When I arrived, both receptionists were busy and they didn't acknowledge me. However once one was free, she helped right away. I was checked in and shown where I could put my shoes and escorted to the massage area. The therapist was prompt and did a great job working on my tense shoulders. I didn't know I could schedule a 80 minute massage and she accommodated the extension with ease. I would certainly go here again. read more

I'm torn about this review, while there were things I really liked about Olympus Spa there were things I didn't like either. The ambiance and food at Olympus are the best, especially compared to Palace Spa, I felt welcomed, staff was so nice and friendly from the ladies who checked me in and gave me a rundown on everything to Molly the expert body scrubber. But the other side of the coin is more facilities gripes. Olympus is small, it gets crowded really fast, I went on a weekday afternoon and it was crowded, I can't imagine what it's like in the evening or weekends. The spa pools were inconsistent temperatures as well. I went from the 95 to 97 degree pool and it was much cooler. Treatments I received: Premium body scrub and moisturizer w/ cucumber facial. Molly was WONDERFUL, I would go back just to have her scrub me down. It had been months since my last scrub and i was especially dirty and she took the extra time to make sure I was squeaky clean. The body moisturizer and facial, I will skip from Olympus, it wasn't particularly moisturizing and the facial made me break out. Atmosphere: I wanted to include something about who I was for anyone specifically looking for how women of color are treated at this spa. Not only am I WOC but I'm on the plus sized end of the spectrum, 5'3", 285 lbs. Was treated fabulously, no issues whatsoever. I was introduced to Korean spas while visiting a friend in Los Angeles. Though Olympus Spa has nothing on some of the K-spas in LA it is still heavenly. I have been multiple times and was there this past Saturday. It was super crowded in the parking lot, and I was concerned it would be a fiasco inside but to my surprise the saunas were not busy at all. For those not familiar with a Korean spa, you pay a cover, $35 at Olympus, and spend the day using the facilities which include multiple saunas, a steam room, Jacuzzis and other relaxation spaces. They also have a restaurant, tea room, scrub rooms and massage rooms. I have always just come for the day pass, not extra services. The locker room was super crowded which sucked but besides putting on and taking off clothing it was not that big of a deal. The salt, clay, and sand saunas are all amazing and range in temp from 100-150 degrees. The saunas are by far my favorite part of the experience. The steam room, traditional Swedish sauna and jacuzzis are all show up in your birthday suit - kind of like being in the locker room at the gym but everyone just lingers around naked. I think the first 5 mins are the most uncomfortable then you realize no one cares or is judging. The jacuzzis range in temp from 90-113, I believe. There is also a cold dip pool at 60 degrees, a mugwart "pond", a steam room that always kicks my butt because it is soo damn hot, and a typical dry sauna. If you are looking to detox, relax, or have a break from the cold gray rain of the PNW, this is the place to go. read more

It only took six years to gather the courage to come here. After some coaxing from my friends I finally popped my naked lady spa cherry! Who knew how easy it would be to walk around naked with a bunch of strangers?!?! Thankfully my friends helped me navigate my way through the day! First off, if you want to register for services, just call them. You can do it online, like I did, but it might not be in there system, which means you have to hope they have availability to accommodate you. I ordered a body scrub online and was thankful that they had someone to provide the service. Check in is super easy. I opted for tea services and one of their bottles of fruit infused water - yummy! Once we got settled, we went into the pool room and showered. And then the fun began! Saunas, hot tubs, tea water to douse yourself with, steam rooms, and a freezing cold pool... which I LOVED after the coolest hot tub. Body Scrub... I was told if I was to get service this would be the one. They weren't wrong. Never have I had a scrub but my life just changed. It was amazing! The food. I got the #8 which a spicy beef soup. It was okay. Could definitely be spicier and have more flavor in general. The different relaxation rooms are awesome. My favorite was the charcoal and sand room. Just the right temperature and I love that they've got calming music/sounds playing. The cooling room is great to step into after being in one of the hot rooms. There are inspirational messages on the walls and a journal that guests have written in. And it smells amazing in there. Overall, this was an amazing experience. I can't wait to go back! read more

I've been to the Olympus Spa, also known as the Naked Spa, twice and had great experiences both times! I should mention that this is a women's only spa. The first time was about a year ago and I did a girls weekend in Tacoma. My friend had heard of the spa and we specifically went up for the spa experience. We stayed at a nearby hotel. The spa provides you with a locker, robe, cloth shower cap. You are free to wander between the different temperature rooms with heated floors and different properties such as jade, salt and charcoal. Last year I had a frozen shoulder. I honestly believe that the healing of my shoulder began in one of these rooms. I loved all the soaking pools of varying temperatures. I'm not into the cold plunge, but it was very refreshing to pour some of the ice cold water over me. I get it that it's supposed to be good for the lymphatic system...still a no for me! Off to the side, women were having services performed. Really rigorous scrubbing..also a no for me! The first time we drove up, so we went to a nearby vegan restaurant for lunch. My second visit was with a friend who was unable to join us for our first visit. We took the train up and taxi'd to the spa. She had the scrub and a wrap that she made appointments for. I enjoyed all the amenities while she had her services. I also opted for the tea service. For $7 you get unlimited tea and a light snack. The teas were great! Not a big fan of the biscotti they offered. Since we didn't have a car, we had lunch at their on-site restaurant. They offered complimentary pickled veggies, which I enjoyed. I also had a seaweed salad and spicy tofu soup..all very good! It was fun that we got to eat lunch in our robes! I got the punch card where you get a free entry after your 10th visit. The card does not expire. I really wish I could go more often! read more

The only drawback was that as more and more people are discovering Olympus Spa, they forget that it's supposed to be a quiet relaxing experience. Keeping voices down to a whisper is essential. In the 4 years I've been living in Tacoma, I did not know this place existed. My friend and I went on a Saturday but at 6. Freaking wonderful, it was clean, soothing and just so damn relaxing. I thought it would be awkward with the nudity. But was quickly at ease. All the women who come here, are trying to relax and get away from stress, work, home for a little while. A dry and wet sauna, and 5 pools? With a tea room, and a kitchen. I would come back here forever! read more

You have to pay a day pass which is $34 ON TOP of $150 in services. THE most expensive Korean Spa I've ever been to. The sauna rooms do not have clay balls or salt on the floors. Every time I go here it's for healing through hydro therapy, the peaceful environment is healing in itself, I do a little reset starting in the pools, cold to hot and then hot to cold, then is off to the rooms with salt , mugwort, charcoal and jade...,if you haven't tried this place out, you are missing out!!! read more

This truly is the experience of a lifetime. I have never been to a spa like this with so many baths and rooms to relax. You are required to be fully naked most of the time which made me feel a little nervous at first, although in the end I felt very free as many women were there to just relax and enjoy their time. My wife scheduled my sister and I for a massage while she got scrubbed down in one of the rooms. It is a little bit nerve racking as there are about 6 women to a room getting scrubbed down. My wife felt that it was a bit intense although they did get a lot of things of excess dirt etc off of her. My massage was not that great. The girl seemed tired as she came out of another massage prior to mine. I would recommend this although I'm not sure when I'll be coming back. I know I personally don't want to be rubbed down that harshly. read more

I love this spa and used to visit often before I had children. I hadn't been in a while and found they had raised their prices significantly. The cost for a body scrub is now nearly $100, and the price for admission has gone from $25 to $38. They have also raised the prices in the restaurant and portions of "appetizers" have gotten smaller. I'm afraid Olympus spa has become prohibitively expensive but for maybe once per year as a Very Special occasion. read more

As a first time spa-goer, I find this place to be comfortable, clean and inviting. Women of all shapes and sizes were there and the fact that they have plus size robes made for a relaxing experience. Usually I worry about towels being big enough; here that is not the case. I recommend going in the evening when the lights are dim and candles are out. At the end of your stay, pour some of that mugwort tea over your hair, a tip that a fellow patron shared. I used it after washing with the shampoo provided and my hair is now pure silk. Be sure to eat first and drink plenty of water before and during. Bring a water bottle along so you can enjoy the filtered water (probably tastier than the drinking fountain water). I plan to return for a birthday treat; I'm eager to check out their body scrubs. Overall, Olympus Spa is an excellent way to spend an afternoon. read more

Spent 4.5 hours here and it was beyond belief wonderful! We had the rejuvenation package which allowed use to use the entire spa. We the soaking pools and the various heated rooms - all very clean and relaxing. Now on to the scrub! WOW! My scrub was done by Song - amazing! Dhe has wonderfully strong but gentle hands and softly sings during your treatment. After the first scrub - I felt this sorta "gritty" substance on the mat beneath me - finally realized it was my dead skin! Yuk! After 3 rounds of scrubbing, my skin was glowing and silky. The moisturizing was equally wonderful. It included warm facial towels and a cucumber mask. I fell asleep! Don't worry about the nakedness - no one cares what you look like and you won't care about anyone else. This is just a wonderful, calming experience which you owe yourself. read more

I have been coming to this spa for years, I normally get a day pass and on occasion get a scrub that is pure magic. But today I got a massages.... It was fine nothing special but what left me disappointed is that she only did my backside and my neck. Did not touch the front of my body expect my neck. For the price you would expect a full body massage. Plus the massage is only 50 minutes, I'm sure that why they don't have enough time for the front of your legs. Also I always have lunch and it's always great but the prices have gone way up. I paid $18 for one person. That is without a beverage. I don't spend that much when I'm actually waited on. I will continue to go but will pass on the massage and make sure I don't go when I'm hungry. read more

Can you beat it for the price? Not with a stick, you can't. Not with a small woman wielding a hard brush you can't. I completely love this experience, although admittedly, I love the one in the North end better, this one is closer to my 'spa buddy' Honey Badger's place so this one will likely be a go-to now instead. The food is great, the people in the kitchen friendly and quick, the staff at the front desk welcoming and explain anything you need help with. The patrons, however, were a little bitchy this time, which isn't at all reflected in my star rating, but it's good to know, sometimes, like any other group activity, a few bad apples can make for a weird experience. If that does happen, just come back again and know it's not a regular thing. Make sure to plan for at least 3-4 hours here, sit in the tubs, check out the rooms, eat (Do NOT hunger yourself as I've said) and reeeellllaaaaxxxxxx..... read more

This is your run-of-the-mill Korean spa, which if you don't know what that means - it means total awesomeness. It's a bathhouse and you come here to soak, relax and maybe get a massage or body scrub. No frills or mood-enhancing ambiance. Just straight-up naked people gettin' their spa on. And yes, you have to be naked. Clean and naked. Don't be skurred. There are mineral pools of various temperatures, dry and steam saunas, and earth energy heated rooms. The washrooms are equipped with all the toiletries you could need, including lotions, cotton swabs, hair dryers, and towels of various sizes. You're supplied with a robe and locker, and water is available all over the place so you don't get dehydrated. I opt for the body scrub whenever I go to Korean spas, and always leave feeling amazing. My experience here at Olympus was nothing short of heavenly - because not only was I getting a fantastic scrubdown, the adorable lady scrubbing me down was softly singing what I'm guessing was Korean church music? Occasionally, the other ladies in the room would sing along and harmonize, and whatever it was, it was incredibly beautiful and soothing! The scrub itself...*sigh*...amazing. I always go back and forth between being in total bliss and total disgust when I get a Korean body scrub. If you've ever had one, you might know what I mean: - I am completely consumed with euphoria as I'm being scrubbed and massaged, and especially when buckets of warm water are being poured over me from head to toe. Ohhh, the bliss. There's nothing like it. - But then there are those moments when I open my eyes and look at the piles of dead skin being scrubbed loose from my body. It literally looks like pencil eraser shavings. It's soooo gross! How is my body that dirty?! Ha! Anyway, I don't know how this place compares to other Korean spas in the area, as I've only been to one down in LA. But I like this place a lot. It's exactly what it's supposed to be. And there is nothing else in the world that makes my skin that soft. read more

First of all to reviewer Michelle..WTF??!! (Like I said to another yelper: A nude-phobe reviewing the Asian bathing experience is akin to an anorexic reviewing a gourmet restaurant ! oxymoronic..) You are going to an ASIAN, KOREAN spa. Nudity is central to it. Not fair to diss the business for a core part of the whole experience! There aren't any men - it's women only, and the nudity adds to it, psychologically. You feel more exposed true, but in a good way. You feel more connected and feel less differences with the women there, who are from all walks of life and ethnicities. I think it's a beautiful part of it! That said, I used to go here often with my sisters and the occasional friend. (some of my friends balked at the idea of being nude with other women...like that other poster did...but believe me you adjust to it in about 30 seconds. Unless you have ''issues'' that go beyond normal modesty.) This is an awesome place to spend several hours, and it was well worth the 60 mile round trip I used to drive to get there from my home in Seattle (they later opened one up in North Seattle, which I have never been to). What I liked most was the scrubs (the women who do this scrubbing are perfectionists at their craft and put real muscle into it, and the price is very reasonable), and I loved the cold and hot water dips, the mugwort water and the little authentic Korean restaurant on site. Amazing how hungry you get soaking and steaming! Once you have been to one of these wonderful Korean spas you will be ruined for the overpriced hotel type spas and their wimpy scrubs, however high falutin they are named! You get addicted to the velvety soft way your skin will feel for weeks after. Worth the drive if you are coming from a distance, and worth the momentary discomfort getting used to being au naturel among other women. All shapes and sizes of bodies there and no one is judging; they are too busy relaxing. And as another reviewer described, this experience actually seems to help you accept and appreciate your body, whatever its condition. How nice to pamper it and pay it back for all the hard work it has to do carrying you around! It is a wonderful experience, a much better way to spend some mother daughter, or girlfriend time than shopping; and I am so grateful they have similar places in Southern California (LA and one in San Diego I've yet to visit), but I think this place so far does it the best. read more

I was on the west coast to go to Burning Man. It was a four day road trip that culminated with three days/two nights in the desert, and then we drove back to West Seattle. My mind was fried and my body was stressed. When I mentioned that I was thinking of renting a zip car and driving to the Olympus Spa in Lynwood, my traveling companion said that I could go to the Spa in Tacoma, and then in the spirit of being the perfect man, he even offered to drive me there, drop me off, and then drive back the 30 + miles to get me after my treatments were done. Men, let this be a lesson - a man who will build you a shelter in the desert, cook you breakfast over flames in the morning in the same desert, and will drive 24 hours through the beauty that is Washington State, Oregon, Northern California & Nevada, stop at waterfalls on the way back, and then turn around two days later and drive you to a spa... Guys, that is pretty damn close to the perfect example of a man. Now, speaking of perfection... Olympus Tacoma/Lakewood is smaller than Lynwood. But immaculate. With a great staff. After taking off my clothing and robing up, I went to the Jade room to have a hot nap in the immaculate hot room. There are wooden mats on the heated floor, and sandbags to rest your head (believe me, this is VERY comfortable!) At 11am, I went to the small restaurant and ordered a shrimp yakisoba meal, cooked by a lovely grandmother type, and it came with an abundance of sides. (I wish I had waited until after my treatment to eat - it was a meal that should have been slowly eaten and savored) Then I was off to shower, wash my hair and soak in a hot pool (102 degrees - their hottest - their many pools range from cold to 102 degrees) Then it was time for my noon body scrub and moisturizing session. Every inch of my naked body was scrubbed, rinsed, washed , rinsed and massaged (even my hair). My second treatment immediately after the hour long scrub was the moisturizing treatment. Since I am the whitest person in existence, and I had just been in the Nevada desert for 2 days, and I am on prednisone for my kidney transplant, my skin isn't as robust as it should be. The lady doing my treatments, only gave me the olive oil and milk part of the treatment - she was worried that I would react to the honey (I hadn't before - but my body has changed since the transplant) a cool cucumber mask was slathered on my face, I was cocooned in warm blankets, and I promptly fell asleep. When I woke up, I rinsed my hair in the mugwort bath, and then lounged around. Took a short nap in the large heated floor nap room (they even have blankets). I flopped onto a sofa for a foot massage in the massage lounge waiting room, and then I went back to the fully supplied locker room, blew dry my hair, put in my contacts and got dressed. I said good bye to the staff, walked into the sunshine of the Tacoma business park that this Womans Oasis is innocuously tucked into, and perched on a flowerbed, checking my e-mail on my cell phone. Pretty quickly, that shining example of a man pulled into a parking spot early, and prepared to wait. I was able to surprise him by being ready to go. Good deeds should always be acknowledged and appreciated. My skin and my psyche appreciated the spa, and my soul appreciated the door to door service. read more

Whoa......1st time at a Korean bath house......eye opener. Although I'm not terribly modest I was a tiiiiiiny bit hesitant about all nude...took me about 1 minute to be 100% ok with it. Not sure if it's just the not a big deal environment or that I have no shame. Chose the body scrub, massage, moisturize and facial. We were there a little over 5 hours for around $250 that include unlimited tea. Soaked for an hour in various temperature pools, then the scrub....ha! Laid out in all my glory (along with about 4 other customers and everyone in the soak room) and scrub a dubbed on every inch of my body. After 40 minutes I've never felt so clean or exfoliated. Then the massage. It was ok (but to be fair for the price it was prob great) I just have a fabulous local affordable place I go to. Next time I would skip that part. Moisturize....yes! This was great another 50 mi it's on the table but days later and I'm baby skin soft still. Patty did both my scrub and moisturize and she was as sweet and friendly and kind and made me feel crazy at ease....wonder if you can request people if for sure want her again. My other korean spa experience is palace spa in federal way. I would say Olympus tries a little harder on decor and styling, but doesn't have the square footage. I like the compact wet area, you can step from one thing to another. The cost is a little high for what it is, but they really have a corner on the market, so.. Tea service is $7 for serve yourself tea and a pre-packaged biscotti. The restaurant is ok, if I were to rate it by itself maybe a 3 out of 5. Right across the street is H Mart, a pretty cool korean grocery. Also in the same parking lot as the spa is a korean bbq that's decent. read more

Go, just GO. If you're new to Korean spas, I'll keep it simple: YOU'LL BE NAKED THE ENTIRE TIME. This shouldn't scare anyone, but I know some ladies can be self-conscious, so if that's you, maybe pick a different spa. But if you're cool with your fupa and don't mind other fupas around you, then you're in luck! Because you've just found the best, most awesome experience Tacoma has to offer. I took my mom there several times and we would just bliss out and enjoy the silence, wet rooms, hot rooms, hot floor (seriously, I want one of those in my house) and all the rest. I'd say to bring your grooming stuff with you, because while their stuff smells really great, it's kind of drying to the skin and hair. And if you don't look like a mess when you're done here, you're doing it wrong. Oh, and the cafe is AMAZEBALLS. There is a soup, I don't remember the name, but it has a clear broth with chicken, egg, fresh veggies, noodles, pretty much everything in it and it is the most restorative soup I've ever had in my life. I want to marry this soup. And have soup babies with it. It's THAT good. And the woman who works in the cafe is nice and a ninja with a kitchen knife, so be sure to tip her, 'cause her soup will make you whole again. read more

The ultimate in relaxation. It just doesn't get any better than this! My favorite "extra" is the body scrub. Not only does it leave you baby-butt soft, but the ladies generally do a mini-massage along with it. By far the best bang for the buck! I have been to both the Tacoma and Lynnwood locations, and both are incredible. They each have a different kind of charm. The Lynnwood spa is larger, more modern, and has larger pools. But the atmosphere at the Tacoma site is more intimate and friendly. The entrance fee ($30 at Tacoma, $35 at Lynnwood) includes unlimited use of the pools and the many aromatherapy rooms. Since I can easily spend 6 hours there with just these amenities, it's a pretty good return on my money. If you enjoy hot tubs of various temperatures, do try doing the 102 degree pool, then the 60 degree waterfall pool, then back to the hot pool. Yeah, your skin feels all pins and needles for a few moments, but it totally evens out your circulation and feels incredible! My favorite aromatherapy room is the Salt room. This one is great if you have sinus allergies. My nose does a happy dance when in this room! I could go on and on, but could never fully describe how amazing this spa is. What a riot for an Irish girl from Chicago! I call it "the Naked Ladies Spa." $30 to enter and walk around naked, jump in hot tubs and then freezing cold waterfall. Put on a robe to go lay on ...crystals and magnets and coal and stuff. Then, should you choose a treatment, you can be roughly scrubbed - next to a number of other naked women - by the roughest scrub women on the planet. I loved it! A bit over-priced and the Korean diner is odd, but wow...felt great and I saw some amazing tattoos in crazy place. Oh, and heed the signs: no menstruating and no displays of affection! read more

I found the decor to be pleasant and tasteful in each room. I would have liked at least one of the rooms to be cooler, as all the heated rooms were quite hot and warm. I really liked the foot massager in the relaxing lounge area and could have stayed there all day. It was a Saturday morning and wasn't too overcrowded. It was my birthday so I was able to take advantage of the half price special. The tea room was nice, and I especially liked the cold blueberry tea. Nice tea cup sets to choose from. I also would have preferred a korean pastry rather than a chocolate covered biscotti as an accompaniment. All in all, a nice cozy korean sauna that I would return to again. I was thrilled to find a cool korean store called Shin Shin close by which sold inexpensive household items. I went nuts in there. read more

This is a local women's only spa. My girl friends and I come here regularly for local quick spa getaway after a weekday at work. My friend isn't Korean but after watching Korean dramas of people lounging at the Korean spa, she cites this spa as one of the reasons why she wanted to live in the Seattle-Tacoma area. We usually go on a weekday after work so we can't afford the time to lounge here all day to get the most out of your $30 "day pass" and a day pass is required even if you solely want to get a treatment. To keep costs to a minimum, we: - use the loyalty punch card - buy passes in bulk when they go on sale usually during the holidays - "like" them on facebook to keep in touch with ongoing promos I'm a fan of the 40 minute Korean body scrub. My friend is a fan of the body moisturizing. For the body scrub, when scheduling a time account for at least 30 minutes of soaking time in hot water to get your skin ready to scrub off the dead skin cells. Leave some time to also visit the variety of sauna-like rooms. I like how my skin feels so new and soft afterwards. I like how to get every crevice of you clean including your ears -- so I wish I could remember to TAKE OFF YOUR EARRINGS BEFORE HAND! If you can afford the time and money to pamper yourself with the moisturizer after a body scrub, I highly recommend it cause your skin just soaks up the goodness. I also wish I could remember to bring a TOOTHBRUSH and my own HAIR BRUSH. But everything else (e.g. towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body lotion) is provided so I like how you can literally stop by on a whim without anything to prepare in advance and usually that is how my girl friends and I decide to go. read more

What an awesome place!! It's a woman temple! I love this place like an addict loves smack. I went once and I'm hooked. In fact, I can't stop thinking about when I can get my fix again. The first time I went I enjoyed it for four hours, but only at the bare minimum. I can't believe there's so much more indulgence to be had, considering how thoroughly I loved my first visit. Definitely be sure to drink lots of water and change your scenery frequently. I became a little overheated after two straight hours in the hot tubs and saunas and had to go take a thirty minute break with my feet planted happily in the various massage mechanisms in the lounge. Oh poor poor little me! I had to sit in a big puffy chair in a sweet cotton robe reading while my feet were mechanically rubbed and vibrated. Ha! Life is sweet within the lovely doors of the Olympus Spa. Next time I go back, and it will be soon, I will definitely get a scrub. My pal had a scrub, she's even more addicted than me at this point. After we left, glowing, giddy and relaxed, we had to periodically rub her skin and ooh, and ahh, over how very soft her skin was. Oooh, I'm jonesing! read more
