(Amazing Work)Everything went perfect, with very little to no discomfort and I was up and running the next day like nothing ever happened. I highly recommend the Dental office of Dr Ignacio De La Vega and his staff. Everybody there is so kind and they treat you very well and they all show that LOVE what they do. I was in between plans so I was fortunate to be able to travel to TJ and they value it in my tooth and it was so cracked that I couldn't just get it repaired instead they had to pull it and put it in implant. It was taken care of that day with meticulous care. I know the dentist has a very high-level of attention to detail, which I really appreciated. I am going to go back in April to have the crown completed. I was there for several hours as they did a lot of work to evaluate my tooth then pull the cracked tooth and place the implant. I very highly recommend them for the quality of work and the price was better than in the US. of course they also picked us up and returned us back to the border

Wasted my time, money and gas to make these trips Do I have confident to drive down and make them re-do the broken crown? Do I trust them to do a 3 teeth bridge for me? I guess I'll be staying locally and get the dental bridge done. I don't know what happened to the excellent work from this office but it seems the ladies that worked there are no longer there plus Dr Elias is no longer there. I can't recommend this place since I paid almost 1k for a zirconium crown plus root canal; 2 teeth were done so 2k wasted!

Crossing the border was straightforward, and once through immigration, it was about a 10-minute walk to the office. Their office is located in an upscale professional medical building and the pictures on their website are of their actual office. It was as nice or nicer than any dentist office I've been to in the U.S. Everyone I met was friendly, professional, and spoke English well. Dr. Jessica was excellent - thorough, attentive, and easy to communicate with. While I initially chose to come here for the prices, I was most impressed by the quality of care. The appointment was not rushed, and there was no attempt to upsell or push to add unnecessary procedures. I will definitely return.

Exceptional care for a complex root canal re-treatment…read more After being turned away by one endodontist in the US who said my case was too complicated to treat, I found Dr. Alex at TJ Endodontics -- and I couldn't be more grateful. My case was a nightmare on paper: a failed root canal with curved, L-shaped canals, broken file instruments left inside, and a leaking crown that had been causing ongoing issues. Every specialist I consulted in the States either declined outright or quoted an outcome they weren't confident about. Dr. Alex took one look at my X-rays and , explained exactly what he was dealing with, and said he could helpo. What set him apart was his thoroughness and honesty. He didn't rush. He didn't cut corners. He was upfront that this would take significantly more time than a standard re-treatment -- and he delivered on that. I ended up needing an emergency appointment and was able to be seen same day and begin my treatment. (Thank you front office for getting me in as I was coming all the way from Riverside county!) During the first visit, Dr. Alex was very thorough in explaining what was going on and what my treatment options were. We were able to begin treating the infection build up but did need to split up my treatments due to the amount of infection. Luckily all of the remaining nerves in the tooth were successfully removed with minimal pain during both of my visits! After my dentist retired, we had a little global pandemic, and then things got busy and ... in 2026 I brought them a mouth some California dentists wouldn't touch without hundreds of dollars in X-ray and lab fees up front. Then wouldn't touch. ​ In two days of care, they replaced a complex crown, did four quadrants of deep cleaning, and filled an embarrassing number of cavities. I paid about two and a half Gs for what I was quoted elsewhere for between $6K and $10K. This is dental work under local anesthesia, so some pain from numbing is expected. They have a deal with a chain hotel in easy walking distance that has an included breakfast with soft foods and a UV water dispenser on every floor. From my initial contact on WhatsApp, to their offer to Uber me to the office, to patient intake and detailed assessment including head CTs (!), 3D modeling (!!!), photography of teeth and individual tooth x-rays, and the competence of the clinical team... I don't believe this level of dental care is available in Estados Unidos. If I have a friend who needs dental care, I will cheerfully refer them here. Note: WhatsApp and Uber are essential tools in Tijuana.​

Dr Barajas did a total & I do mean total transformation for me…read more I knew that I would have to have 6 crowns on top as my bite was so bad I no longer had enamel in the back from my lower front teeth grinding against them. My lower 6 teeth were all worn down & discolored on the tops. Dr Barajas said that he could do everything that I wanted, but unless he changed my bite, I would quickly have the same results. He took impressions, did a mock up, I approved & the journey began. Many teeth had to be built up to correct the bite. He repaired & replaced a lot of dental work I recently had done in California. Many of my crowns (less than 2 yrs old) were not seated properly so I had gotten cavities beneath the crown. A few were so bad, he had to rebuild in order to fill the cavity & put on a new crown. Lots & lots of work, but I am so happy with the end result. Dr Barajas is a miracle worker. Over the years I have had 3 dentists & not one of them mentioned a correction to my bite. Dr Barajas saw it right away & knew just what you do. I love my new smile. Thank you, Dr Barajas!! I will be forever grateful.
