The last time I went to this questionable place in a dark alley to get my face waxed, the woman did a terrible job. Desperation got the best of me that day. I also had stopped going to my original waxing place so I really had no place to clean my face. As a result, I had grown an incredible amount of hair and I had actually stopped going out during the day as I was afraid I would scare little children. I looked worse than Chewbacca. I had hair everywhere: my chin, my cheeks, forehead, nose, eyelids, eyeballs, everywhere! In fact, I had left my human features and was becoming a hairy beast. So another desperate search began--this time, avoiding dark alleys. Having endured skin burns and terrible waxing jobs, I decided to try this place due to their great reviews. This place gave me back my smooth face. For the first time in a while, my face felt clean and I am on my way to becoming a human again. The young lady who threaded my face did a good job and she took her time. She also shaped my eyebrows. However, one brow was trimmed a bit more than the other and I had a bit of a bold spot. Shit happens so I won't cry about it; in a month or two, I'll have long brows again. The main reason why 4 stars instead of 5, is because the woman did not excuse herself to wash her hands prior to starting working on my face. She had touched other people's skin so washing her hands with warm water and antibacterial soap would have been ideal. She did however, briefly used a disinfectant. I was about to ask her to go wash her hands but I felt she would say she had already disinfected her hands. When finished, I ran home and washed my face with hydrogen peroxide to rid of the germs. Overall a good experience and price is just right. I like her skill and passion for her job, but I'm disappointed in Laxmi. She was really nice when I was a new customer, but now she doesn't even say thank you to me for coming, and is so busy to get next customer. I'm pretty sure she takes it for granted. I'll find some other place that welcomes me always. read more

Um... Does this lady know what she's doing.. I didn't get her name, but there were two ladies there. The one who did mines was the older looking one. She's less dark.. Anyways, she did a good job cleaning up wise, but shaping.. just no. Like I am so sad. If my eyebrows are not on point, I am not on point. I can't even fix them by filling them in... My left brow has a round arc, and my right brow is thin (width) as hell and as a sharper and rectangle-ish look to it. It just doesn't look right at all and I'm never coming back here. read more

First timer today. One of my coworkers suggested I try this place out (she knows I'm very picky)although I was very hesitant I gave it a try on a whim..whathaheck do I got to lose...just my eyebrows lol! I barely have any anyway!! Hahaha. As I have been letting them grow out bc someone over waxed them in a rush. So glad I came to try this place out. I really like the owner as she was very polite & gentle when she did my eyebrows & she listened to all of my requests. Keep an eye on your GPS, because it's really easy to almost miss this place. They have a parking lot in the back that you can turn into. When I walked in, they were able to take me right away and were so quick and friendly. Eyebrow threading was $10, which is pretty on par with what everyone else charges. I needed someone new to reshape my eyebrows. The place I had been going for years was employing new threaders and I felt they weren't doing as good of a job. I yelped this place and gave it a try. I definitely recommend for everyone to come here! Not only was she nice and friendly but she helped me with my problem. She's amazing and she listens to what YOU want. She will also tell you what she is doing and why. Any questions you have she will answer. She's the only one that works here so she will be familiar with your eyebrows whenever you go back. This place is the best place to get your brows threaded. I've been coming for almost a year now. They shape them symmetrically and are detailed and exactly what you tell them. The ladies are all so sweet and professional and clean. I think afternoons and weekends can get pretty busy (maybe call ahead of time to see how many people are waiting?) so plan ahead!
