I was driving out from Orange County to meet up with family and looked in the mirror and noticed I needed my eyebrows done, so I google the closet location to where I was and it led me here. I am super picky and as I walked in I'm looking at the client sign in sheet to see who these women choose and at first I wrote some ones name down and as I was sitting waiting for my turn something came over me and I got up and changed the name of the brown tech. When I say I'm picky I am super picky I will let my brows grow out for months until I find someone I like and the minute you mess up my brows you will never see me again. So with that being said I ended up seeing Laxmi and I told her what I wanted and told her it was my first time and I'm scared because it's my brows at stake here the front of my face could me messed up in a flash... well I was very impressed with the work she did and I have found my new eyebrow location even if I have to travel.. So I'm torn about my experience. I just moved to the neighborhood and this is my first time coming to this shop. My technician was lubie or rubie (I cant hear when i sleepy and I didn't want to make her keep repeating it) I just took first available because I was really tired and need to get to home. PROS: she was quick but not rushed. It was virtually painless. I almost fell asleep while she was doing my brows! (That has NEVER happened! Iwas tearing up when she got to that upper lip #beautyispain) CONS: I think my brows came out ok, better than before but the arch isn't as smooth as I like. The things I asked her to address I didn't feel confident in her ability to fix. So I left well enough alone.(better to have to fix it with brush and concealer than have to draw it with a pencil!) One the I didn't like, almost all the before and after pics show full and thick brows as a finished product. It neglects to mention both on yelp and in the shop that those beautiful luscious brows are the result of a $350 tattoo job! I thought they did some kind of pencil fill in or other technique like ziba or shapes. And speaking of them, this place doesn't give you a cooling gel massage! I really needed it after that upper lip job! Which is always a nice treat at the end. Lastly, I can't remember if she used some hand sanitizer before we started. I've been coming to this location for 3+ years now. I used to get my eyebrows waxed and they were very short and thin. Once I found out about this location I was very specific about how I wanted my eyebrows to be and they helped me grow them into nice and thick eyebrows! My go to was always Laxmi however, I now feel very comfortable with Ruby. I've always had trouble growing out the ends of my eyebrows (bc of the waxing) and I vented to ruby about it... she recommended their "eyebrowz" oil that helps your hair grow and honestly I'm glad she convinced me! Every 2 weeks that I go get my brows done I see more and more progress. I'm always satisfied really recommend coming here! I discovered this place after my usual salon and lady closed down due to Covid. And OMG!! I love it!! My go to girl is Susan. She is absolutely fantastic with her threading. I get both full face and my eyebrows done. Susan does a very nice thorough job. She takes her time to perfect her work. Unlike other places/technicians, she doesn't rush to get to the next person. She makes sure her work is done to your liking and perfection. I have met the owner, Laximi and she is just fantastic with her micro blading and threading as well. I haven't seen any of the other techs that work there, but judging from how extremely busy this place is, I am sure they are all great!!!. I had been contemplating microblading my over-waxed/over-plucked eyebrows for the longest time and I am so happy that after a bit of research, I settled on OM. I did not ask for any one specific artist but I was soo fortunate to be assigned to Laxmi. She is incredibly skilled, patient and a perfectionist! She spent so much time at my initial appointment measuring and ensuring good symmetry, discussing best color options and explaining the process. Together we examined the drawings on my face multiple times before she proceeded but I allowed Laxmi to take the lead as she was clearly comfortable and confident doing microblading. I've been frequenting this location for eyebrow threading for a few months now and I've been really happy here. I initially found this place on Yelp when looking for a new salon. Cleanliness is always a top priority for me when it comes to threading. This place always looks clean. There is never any string on the ground. Hand sanitizer on every station, along with witch hazel and aloe vera. The bathroom is always very orderly as well. The girls here are very friendly. They take their time on your brows. Been coming here for years. I stick with Laxmi even though I know all the women that work here do great work! I had my eyebrows shaped badly at another place I went to, and Laxmi has been helping me regrow areas that were sparse and fix their shape :) They also sell an eyebrow and lash growth oil that Laxmi recommended. I literally want to cry because my eyebrows looked better before I left here. This is my second time going to Rosa, and my last. I had to find a new place because my other lady left without any notice. I walked in and the first time Rosa helped me, I expressed to her I've been growing my eyebrows out to be thicker and I only wanted a clean up. First time it came out fine. Today, I went in around 5pm and it was pretty slow, so I was able to wait less than five minutes to see Rosa. She asked if I just wanted a clean up and I said yes just a clean up I would like to leave it thick. When she was done and gave me the mirror. My eyebrows were so thin and uneven. I was so upset. I was MORE UPSET when she said that my eye brows are hard to do...this is what I pay for you to do! You're suppose to understand hair types and follicles in how you shape each and every individual client. I am so upset it took me MONTHS to grow them out to be chopped off again. I am so disappointed and I can't believe a "clean up" turned into a choppy job! In person my eyebrows look so thin I feel like my eyebrows are naked. I have gone 2 times and both times they have done an excellent job! I had 2 different women do my eyebrows too. I went here randomly because the reviews sounded good, but they completely destroyed my eyebrows. The woman who threaded my brows took a long time do a really bad job. The arches on my brows didn't match at all and she significantly thinned and shortened my brows trying to make the arches match. She also increased the gap on my brows so much that when I try to fill in my brows to make up for how much she thinner them, I have to draw in the beginning of the brow forcing it all to look fake and unnatural. This is by far, the worst threading my brows have gone through. I don't understand what the hype is with all these reviews. read more
