My eyes brows officially on fuhleeek! So I came here recommended by a friend. Cause sometimes pampering yourself with some clean eyebrows makes you feel so much better after a crummy work week. First, it's really easy to drive by and not notice this place. So make sure you pay attention to your gps closely when you get near. There's parking spots in the back after you turn into a small opening. The shop is next to others one including a nail salon. Second, it's super fast. Well I just got a clean up and it only took like three minutes. When I get my eyebrows waxed they usually take foreverrrr. If you've never gotten your eyebrows threaded before, I prefer threading cause I feel like it's done with more precision. It doesn't really hurt either. And after reading reviews I requested for Laxmi to do mine. She's super sweet and makes you feel comfortable when she's taking care of you. Lastly, it's only $8! I was like wait what? This place is a hidden gem in the South Bay! I first came here with my friend a few months ago because she's been coming here for a while and I've been looking for a good place to get my eyebrows threaded and I think I've found it! Make sure you ask for LAXMI! There was a long wait on my first visit and when there is a wait, make sure to put your name down on the sign in sheet. The wait can get long if you're waiting for Laxmi but I'll tell you that it's worth the wait. She's really nice and gentle. She asks you what kind of shape you want and asks how you're doing once in a while. Even when there's a wait, she doesn't rush. She takes her time to make sure your brows are perfectly done. She's so good at what she does and I only go to her for my eyebrows now. Eyebrow threading is $8 and upper lip threading is $4. Wow. I am not from the area but I really wanted to get my eyebrows done. I saw on yelp this place is reviewed well but there's only 6 reviews. Why?! Laxmi is super good and has tons of experience. She communicates well and listens to what you want. She's sensitive but doesn't hold back from making you look goooood. ;) She doesn't overcharge; it's only $7 for eyebrows. The fact that she is super nice only is icing on the top of a great experience. If you've never had your eyebrows threaded before, or your a straight up addict to threading, this is the place to go. The entire place is dedicated mostly to threading but she also provides other services. She has a good number of seats in the waiting area and my bf was able to sit their and relax Laxmi made my eyebrows all pretty. :D I will definitely be coming back here whenever I am in the area, or rather, in the great LA region. read more

I've been coming here for about a year. I used to live in Lomita and got my eyebrows threaded religiously somewhere else. Little did I know, they were screwing up my brows. I came to Laxmi on a whim and I never went back to the old threading place. She told me that my brows were too thin and worked with them until they were right for my face. She let me know that I had to grow them out and it was worth it! She's so nice and welcoming. I've since moved to Gardena but I come back to her whenever I need threading. I won't go to anyone else! UPDATE: Recently I went to get my brows threaded and there was another girl there. I have seen her there before for brow threading but I was hesitant because Laxmi had worked with me for so long I was afraid of anyone else touching my brows. I had nothing to be afraid of. I didn't catch her name, but I'm pretty sure she's the only other woman there besides Laxmi & she does great work. I'd be happy to have either one of them do my brows. read more

This place is Amazing! I got me eyebrows microbladed here by Laxmi and she's definitely a professional. I haven't felt this confident about my eyebrows ever! The shape is perfect for my facial structure and the color is on point! She was able to match my light blonde hair which I was a little worried about before I got them done, but after they healed, they matched perfectly. First time here and I already love it! Parking is in the back or on the side. Quaint place with average-priced services. I had my eyebrows done & I absolutely love them! I've frequented various threading salons but only have recently explored the south bay area, so I don't have much to compare it with. I used to get my threading done in Riverside for ~$10 including tip compared to ~$15 today. Price is usually the second factor I consider with any service, but I will gladly pay an extra $5 to get my eyebrows done at OM again. I forgot to ask my beautician's name but she was so darling & soft spoken. She commented on my dry ass skin in such a lovely way! LOL. She shaped my eyebrows so well. I have asymmetrical eyebrows and many people don't get them to look even remotely alike, but I am VERY satisfied with how she tweaked the natural shape of both eyebrows to get a similar look. TLDR; HIGHLY RECOMMEND. read more

I went to Om for the first time today and I am sooo happy I did. I went in around 11 am on a Tuesday and there were two ladies ahead of me. Laxmi was the only stylist in so she worked on my brows. She did a fantastic job! She listened to and executed exactly what I wanted. I felt like she took her time with each of us although she had other clients (including me) waiting. It's nice to feel like she actually cares to give everyone the same amount of attentive service. Eyebrow threading was $8 and I gave a $2 tip. Can't beat $10 for good eyebrows!!! read more

5 year dedicated client . I love how Laxmi and Rosa style my eyebrows . Waits on occasion can be long but I'm understanding . Choose times wisely . I don't see them rush their work . If i were to see them to rush with other clients , then guess what ? Id be rushed too . I like that they take their time . My eyebrows are worth the wait ! All the staff are kind , soft spoken and display tremendous courtesy . They've even gone as far to find a safer way to thread during covid . I come in with caterpillars and they manage to find a shape of my unruly brows . Lol. I'll be a dedicated client , even if that means my commute is 45 minutes . For all who had bad experiences , I'm sorry you're outliers , but the staff always does their best to make sure they can meet your standards ( in my experience ) . I've been here about 4 times and finally, the fourth time I came here they gave me a stamp card. I think maybe the girl who did my brows the first three times just didn't like me very much. I even brought a friend with me the third time I came. It was the same girl who had helped me each time until the last time, when another girl was there and was very chatty and nice. I really love the way they shape my brows here; they keep them thick and more natural-feeling. I used to go to Ziba Beauty, however I was bummed when I was told my favorite eyebrow artist moved out of the country. I have thick eyebrows and I am really picky with how they are threaded. I spent months trying new places and nobody was cutting it until I was in the area and found this place on Yelp. All the places I have previously been to, want to shape my brows super thin but the girls here know to keep them clean & thick. The drive from Long Beach is worth it. I first heard about this eyebrow spot when I asked a Starbucks barista where she went to get her eyebrows done because they were so clean. I have been going now for a bit over a year and not once have I been disappointed. Every time I go in I try to make sure I get my eyebrows done with Ruby. She is so sweet, listens to my eyebrow concerns and is very gentle. This place is pretty small so it does tend to be busy and packed, especially weekend mornings. It is definitely worth the wait and the price is unbeatable. My favorite part is the end when they ask if you would like witch hazel or aloe vera; it's extremely relaxing and from my experience not common for places to give you an extra treat after the threading. I came upon this place through Yelp and I have been going back ever since. This place is consistent with the way they do your brows and so far *knock on wood*, I have not had a bad experience. Sometimes they are busy so you have to wait but the wait is not that bad. There is usually ample parking in the back. I LOVE this place. My usual place closed down bc of Covid so I was really hesitant to go to another place but I'm so glad I found Om. They did my eyebrows better than my previous threader & for such a fair price ($12) for the quality they give. They were also very kind and understanding. I went with my brother and he was screaming a bit bc of the pain but both the threaders just politely laughed and kindly offered to hold my brother's eyelids for him.
