haaayyy hoooooo it's a party in west ooooo Kind of. Not really. If you're a west o mom then.. Probably. Legacy is totally one of the boujee nail spas in Omaha and is thoroughly known in the suburbs of west O. There's a 10/10 chance your mom has been here AT LEAST once. Upon arrival you'll be met with a clean and bright atmosphere as well as the coolest fish tank you've ever seen in your life apart from the zoo (like honestly why don't more people have fish tanks?). There's a 50/50 chance the gals at the front desk will be nice to you, so just be prepared for anything. They also got a new front desk now that is literally 5 ft tall and me, barley making the cut, felt like I was a little person in a big persons world ** cue a picture of my eyes barley peeping over the counter like a 5 year old ** I've been to legacy multiple times before with my mom and honestly haven't liked it because my nail tech just hasn't ever done a great job, so it's definitely going to be a different experience for you solely based on your nail tech. I think at places like nail salons that's always how it is - not everyone is typically top notch and so it's a bit of Russian roulette. HOWEVER, my mom swears by LoAn, and if that's all you pay attention to in this review, then you're in luck. She is hands down THE best nail tech they have. She is extremely thorough, pays attention to every detail, shapes the nails perfectly, and just overall does everything with excellence. I think she gave me one of the top two nail jobs I've ever had done. ****** My recommendation to you is not just to walk in and get whoever they have available, but call ahead and make an appointment with LoAn. ******* The reason I gave them 3 stars was due to the compilation of times I have been here. LoAn deserves 5 stars, but my handful of other experiences really only racks up to 2-3 stars, so I tried to land on an average. I've visited 3 times in the last few months and each time my experience has been good. My last visit caused me to write this review, though. I came a hour before closing on a Sunday and Van did a beautiful job on my shellac. I asked for the shape to be fixed to my liking and she did so quickly. I didn't feel rushed. if you go there, don't let henry do your nails. i went there three years ago and he did them so bad, he had an airpod in and didn't listen to me. he messed them up so bad i ended up going straight to another place to re do them. today i decided to go back there, and what do you know i got henry again. again, three years later, he messed them up, told me he could do something he couldn't do, and gave me sass when i asked him to fix the shape. i can't believe i let him touch my nails again, he is not good. read more

the people and costumer service are great. however, every single time Ive gone, my nails discolor within a week, the designs aren't done well and they never take the time to complete my nails well, and they don't listen to the length or shape I want. Won't be going here anymore. read more

Worst Manicure and Pedicure of my life. The pedicure was relaxing and the nail polish looked good but my heels were just as rough after the pedicure as they were when I went in. She did the manicure while I was still sitting in the pedicure chair. No soaking. Cuticles were still overgrown and the length and shape of my nails was inconsistent. Over the next few days I had multiple hang nails. I ended up giving myself a manicure at home 3 days after I paid for the manicure at Legacy Nails. My home manicure was much better than the one I got at the salon. And I ended up paying for a decent pedicure the following week at another nail salon. Don't waste your money here! read more

Called in to discuss the poor quality I received. They do not issue credit, they want you to come back in and waste another hour and get them fixed. I'm out of town now I'm going to have to go to another salon and pay again to have my nails done. This is happened on more than one occasion where I've had to go in and get shellac replaced or dip. Went in for a pedicure and within 24 hours the nail polish was already completely gone from THREE nails. The nail tech did a terrible job and didn't even do the massage and just left the sugar scrub on my leg for 10 minutes. Horrible experience. Paid 170.00 for 2 people for pedicure and manicure. Didnt even have a full spa experience. The leg massage was basically putting lotion on and no full massage. They charge 7 extra for what they consider spa manicure instead of the express but that was basically rubbing lotion on for all of 30 seconds and they consider that a massage. You can find a lot better quality places in omaha that are cheaper. They just care about getting people in and out and not good sevice. I came into the salon for a simple pedicure and it was terrible. I have never received such a poor job. My toes we cut too short, and there was polish all around my toes and didn't spend much time on shaping my nails. When asked about my experience I replied "Not that great, I have had better" the cashier replied "Oh, that will be $35" ...REALLY! They said they do not do refund because I had the entire spa experience....but I when I get a pedicure I expect my nails to look great. That is why we pay to have them done in the first place. They also said they could fix them but I would have to come in again for another hour of my time. I passed and fixed them at home. Will not be going back. This is a very pretty nail salon with a large fish tank front and center, and my pedicure lasted a long time. However, my massage chair was broken. I decided to try it, found it uncomfortable, and then discovered it was impossible to turn off. The only button on remote that worked was the one that turned it on in the first place. There also seemed to be inconsistent service. I brought my mom and we both got the same pedicure, however her lady did it in a completely different order and at a different pace than my lady. I was also super uncomfortable but felt like I couldn't express it. I have a condition that makes my joints act like I'm much older than I am, so holding my foot in an awkward position for several minutes was actually painful, but the lady's attitude made me feel like I wasn't allowed to talk to her so I decided to just grin and bear it. The price was pretty standard, but for me it is still a lot of money to spend on a subpar experience. I don't think I'll return. read more

Went in for a girls night, we were greeted by a sweet brunette girl! She showed us to choose our colors then to our technicians. Pedis were amazing and relaxing!! Im only speaking for my manicure not my friends btw. I chose a color k560 a soft sunset/brownish color. I was having trouble finding the jar so another employee went to find it and gave it to my tech. I noticed when she started, the powder was way lighter than the color I chose. I thought maybe it will get darker as the layers go on...I was wrong. My nails ended up a nude color that match my skin. I also asked for extensions and my tech said "No youre nails are good. You dont need it.", i then explained i just wanted more length if thats ok. She made a big sigh and said "ok...", then proceeded to slam the box of extensions on the counter and make a large sigh again. I could tell she just wanted to go homw. The rest of the appt was super awkward and I felt stupid for asking what I originally made the appt for. We ended up staying after close bc the tech wanted to fix a mistake she made which was very sweet but at the point I just felt even dumber for being there. The front desk lady who checked us out was very rude and obviously annoyed she was still there. Total was $80 dip mani, extensions, reg pedi. Normally this is fine but with my experience + being stuck w the wrong colored nails for the next 3 weeks......not worth it. Overall glad my friend was there or else it wouldve been a terrible time. Maybe it was just a bad day for the employees and i get that happens but it sucks that this was my first impression of the bussiness as a whole. read more

I have been going there for 13 years, and I genuinely do not know why they have 3 stars on Yelp. While I have seen Bee all these years, I have had several of the other nail technicians do my nails, and have had the same amazing quality of work every time. On the rare occasion when I have had my nails chip too soon, or some other mess up, I have gone back in and they were more than happy to fix it. Remember they are only human. You can really tell they want you to be more than satisfied with their services. They are all so sweet, from the receptionists to the owners, they all welcome you with a smile and treat you like family. read more

Terrible, intolerant service. Refused to my daughter's nails who has special needs. The one good tech they have who is kind, was out sick & so because we were preparing for professional photos, risked trying someone else. Instead of being patient, the tech refused to do my daughter's nails. I have had a similar experience here in the past when I calmly asked a tech to use less nail polish remover, she got up and refused me services. I recently had eyelashes done and Luna is the most amazing person for this. She had me looking like a movie star in no time and they weren't too much over done like some other places. Very convenient location, but mixed nail results. I have visited Legacy Nails & Spa multiple times for shellac/gellish manicures and pedicures, and have found the employees to be pleasant and courteous but the application of the gel polish/typical polish to be a mixed result. I have had good manicures with gel polish here and then mediocre manicures with too thick polish. They do have a 7 day guarntee for gel polish mani/pedis, which they will fix your nails if they chip within a week of application, but this isn't too helpful when you are out of town when the chips happen. The pedicure usually have been better, with decent massages and application, if maybe one too many little gems used when you get a design. My toes were very blinged out when I was expecting something a bit more understated. The massage chairs are nice and the environment is clean if a bit too loud with the large open room. Additionally the place could use more ventilation because sometimes the fake nail fumes were very potent, and felt a bit like I was huffing something when walking close by. Overall a decent nail place, but not sure if the quality matches the price. read more

My friend and I were so excited to try this place, I had gotten a pedicure a couple months prior and absolutely loved it and was ready to try and get an amazing acrylic new set. We made an appointment a month ahead of time and when we got there we were seated immediately and taken care of. After getting my nails done I noticed that they were really far away from the nail beds and they were lumpy and crooked. They only lasted 2 weeks before they started lifting and falling off. This place is horrible. They did a terrible job on my nails. There's huge gaps and thick, and look fake. A 5 year old could have given me a better set of nails. The pedicure chairs are broken. The massage doesn't work on half them. After my pedicure (which was terrible.. it hurt, not relaxing at all, and I have several Knicks where i was jabbed ). I went to sit in another chair for the massage while I waited to get my nails done and was told I couldn't sit there. Every one there was so rude. It was a special occasion and they didn't care. They just wanted their money. I hope this place goes out of business because there's so much competition that gives you better service and doesn't hang up on you when you call to complain and then won't answer the phone at all when you try to call back. (And they claimed to be a manager which is even worse) DONT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE !! read more

I was in my last week of pregnancy so my feet really need some attention, and my tech took his time and did an awesome job. I struggle a little bit in writing this review, because I have been here a number of times throughout the years and generally had good experiences but my most recent trip was very disappointing. It seems that things have maybe gone downhill in the past couple of years. First, I think a lot of their equipment needs to be replaced. It might be original. The chair I sat in had a broken remote and the massage feature was very uncomfortable, again I think a little bit worn down. My pedicure was okay, but overall I felt they rushed through it. Further, as I look at my heels tonight, they really didn't do a good job of scrubbing off the rough skin. My bigger concerns come from my friend's experience. She was sitting right next to me, and requested a specific design, it was not overly difficult. She even showed the technician a picture. When it came time for the design to be done my friend asked her if she wanted to see the picture again and the technician said no that she knew what she wanted. When the design was done it was nothing like the picture that my friend had showed her. This was disappointing. Further, my friend's "hot towel" was cold. Finally as my friend was getting her toenails painted, one of her coworkers came by and nudged the technician's shoulder who was painting her nails. Why you would nudge the shoulder of someone who was painting toenails, I do not know. This obviously caused her to get paint outside the toenail. Honestly, I don't think I will be back. read more

This is the worst mani/pedi that I have ever received. So disappointed - was with a bridal group so didn't want to make too big of a fuss. I had gone to Legacy Nails for a while. I went one evening for a pedicure & fill. Since I was going on a week night instead of a weekend I confirmed their hours on facebook. I went in and was rudely told to leave. I was told they were closed for a private party. There was no sign on the door and nothing on facebook. I asked to speak to a manager. They said there were no hear and asked me to leave again. I asked to have a manager call me and I left my phone number. I asked to have them call me ASAP. This happened on 10/27/2016. I left a second message two days letter and received no reply. I then sent a private email message explaining my experience and asking that a manager call me. The correspondence was light and they told me they were not a manager but they were so sorry for my experience and to call and ask for a manager as they wanted to resolve. I called two more times and everytime I was told the manager was out. I called two more times over the next week leaving my work and cell number. I never received a call back. I messaged again on facebook to let them know and to give my phone number since they seemed so willing ot help and I was hoping the manager would get my message. I come to find out they have blocked me front sending private messages and their facebook page. I never used foul language or was rude. I have provide screen shots of all of my correspondence. Since they are blocking all of my attempts to resolve I filed a complaint with the BBB. If this continues I will contact the DHHS-Nebraska the issues their license in an attempt to resolve. I noticed another reviewer below that asked to speak to a manager had the some experience and never received a return call. read more
