Most recently, we attended a Sunday afternoon game for Family Fun Day, and there were plenty of interactive booths and activities for kids, which made it especially enjoyable for families. This time, we chose to sit on the berm since we had our toddler with us, and it was the perfect setup. He had space to run around while we still got to enjoy the game. It's such a well-kept, family-friendly stadium, and we feel lucky to have a place like this locally.

I had a great time at the college World Series this year, tagging along with a group who played the…read morenational anthem! We had perfect weather, and a great day to be out there. The national anthem players were only given the number of tickets of musicians who performed, so their families had to purchase if they wanted to attend. I Sat with a friend who had a clubhouse connection, so was able to enjoy the food and non-alcoholic drinks they had which was perfect! Overall, I love the World Series, and living in Omaha Try to make it down each year, but, from what I've heard from the performers, their perks for performing get worse every year. Still a great experience, and totally worth it, but it would be nice to see them get a free plus one ticket or anything aside from their own entrance covered!

It was a good opportunity to try things I wouldn't normally order or purchase. Definitely have some new ones I like! I'm not sure I had a favorite but all of them were enjoyable. One vendor had a cheese spread handed down from her mother that was really good! I wish I remembered their name but their product is sold in some HyVee's and I plan to pick some up today! The goat yoga looked fun although I didn't participate in that. They had some live music which was nice too. Didn't even take pictures as my hands were always full and I was having fun! The service is too notch and plenty of ushers do walk you directly to your seats. There are at least four bars from what I saw (one in main hallway and three in the seating/stage area). There were plenty of bartenders as well. They have a coat check in and there's plenty of space to stand around before the show starts. My only complaint is the seats are small foldable chairs and connected to each other so you can't move them at all and you can be touching elbows or bottoms depending on the size of people

The place is incredible and architecturally cool on the exterior - large open venue, with a big stage, standing room on floor and seats on upper level and ample street parking. My favorite area was the tent that housed breweries from Nebraska, Kansas, Iowa and Missouri. It was great to talk to reps from nearby cities and plan my next weekend trip around stopping by their venues. Also, and I'm not sure if this is just the current trend, but Great Nebraska Beerfest saw more than it's fair share of sour beers -- something that'd been difficult to find at other local festivals. From Boulevard to Lucky Bucket to C.I.B. and many, many more, sours were in full effect at GNB. Big props for Nebraska Brewing Company for putting on such a top notch festival. Can't wait till next year!

The theater is beautiful with ornate designs to the boxes, unbelievably detailed ceilings with stunning chandeliers, and gorgeous embellishments everywhere. The acoustics and lighting during the performances are great and we were really impressed with the quality of show. Seats are comfortable and between that, the music, and the wine I was practically lulled to sleep. Restrooms are nice and clean and large enough to keep the line during intermission from becoming completely ridiculous. Another great thing about intermission is you can refresh your wine supply in a sippy cup you are permitted to bring into the theater with you. I also really appreciate how friendly everyone is here. It's easy getting your tickets and there are helpful individuals to assist you in finding your seats. Between the beautiful and clean venue, the amazing shows they offer, and the friendly service, this is a great place for a fun date night in Omaha.

My review is a few years late...(or in the works)…read more The Orpheum is Omaha's oldest theater. and has been rebuilt a few times. It is the iconic Orpheum you would envision. Ornate plaster work throughout a large hall with multi tiers of detail and old world craftsmanship not done anymore. There is one entrance with about 4 doors to pass through and a mobile bar right when you get in. (this is the busiest spots to get a drink just keep walking) Straight ahead is the main staircase and to your left are the current show concessions followed by restroom and another bar and stairs. Each floor here has its own bar and the 3rd floor also has restrooms the 2nd does not. Most of the seats her have a great view its really impossible to not have a good view of the stage. 1st loge is my favorite. I feel I get full view of the entire stage from a higher up vantage point The acoustics are perfect. The temps are about always perfect not hot not cold. Of all the cities I have been this is for sure my favorite venue for performing arts. Maybe because its home and feels comfy, but looking at all the bonuses nope. This place is a GEM!!!

It is always nice to see all the lights during the Holidays, especially Leahy Mall with all of the trees lit. On the Con Agra campus, there is a skating rink that opens at 1 pm daily. For $5.00, you can rent skates and skate for as long as you want. A great activity for you and the kids or even a date. Warm up with some hot chocolate afterward. The closing ceremony finishes on New Years Eve, with a free fireworks show.
