2 out of 5 stars? I didn't get it, but after reading all of the reviews I do get it. Today we were the only customers in the store and Michael S. took care of us to the next level. But if other customers were waiting unattended I understand why they'd be mad. From my short visit with them my opinion is they're beyond A-OK. First and foremost, their prices are ridiculous. That said I purchased through groupon which made it normal-priced. I've heard of omaha steaks many years ago but was under the impression its only internet based and the only option was having it shipped. After some hungover research, I found there's a shop a half hour away, and I left with a car-full of meat. Arby's claims "They have the meat" but today I "gots mines". I consider this a bulk-buy, and honestly feel it was at a good value or slightly cheaper than purchasing at the average prices of Publix, whole foods, grazianos, ginos and doris. I normally dont mention company names but lets just lay them all on the table, average them out, and I feel like today I spent less overall than I would've if I bought it from any of the above. I didn't eat all of the dozens of pounds of meat yet, but I griled burgers today, and they were top quality. Everything I got looks top notch and I'll gladly be back (with groupon or after researching deals. Again, their regularly priced items aren't affordable, even for any boca resident). Lastly I'd love to mention again Michael S. took care of us above and beyond. This guy is clearly personable and also a company-man. He had the internal battle of what's best for the company and whats best for us, and always explained the best of both worlds. He tried to be a salesman as best as he could but sided with us on prices and what we needed (and didn't need). He's clearly passionate about his job, and trusts the products and meats and isn't afraid to be honest and blunt with you, but its 99% positive if not more. An employee to genuinely stands buy the companies product is noteworthy for sure. 5 star experience but because of the outrageous and hilariously overpriced single item prices, that easily takes a star off. read more

Came home and ate some of the tasty treats from my order! I was just so happy, i wanted to call and thank them, but they were closed. So, THIS IS MY THANK YOU!! Do not order anything from this company!!!! If only there was Zero stars to assign to these kinds of "Businesses". Long story short I received an e-mail 4 1/2 days prior to my scheduled delivery, which was an incorrect address and a gift from a friend. I then called and waited on hold for over 30 minutes when I finally got someone on the phone they handled my concern and told me there was no problem to expect my delivery to my new address. 4 1/2 days later, the wife and I were making plans to go out, when we got a phone call from our old neighbor saying that a package had been delivered and looked like it was perishable, sitting outside our front door almost an hour away in heavy traffic and rain. Needless to say I called Omaha Steaks immediately, sat on the phone for another half an hour through there in tolerable hold music, only to find that there's "nothing they can do" to make amends. No credits, no gift cards, no refunds, no nothing. Think twice before you order those perishable items for a gift, because Omaha Steaks is NOT the company you want to use. read more

I had a wonderful experience at this Omaha Steaks location this past Monday. My 93 year old dad wanted to send one of their gift boxes to each of his 6 children and 13 grandchildren for Christmas. That meant entering in all those individual addresses as well as the gift box choice we made for each! Why not do it online? Well, the store has an amazing value offer for $69.99 which includes shipping but the order had to be placed in-store. It was worth it and I couldn't find an offer online that beat the one offered directly from the store with the free shipping. Our salesman, Stuart, was incredible! He was patient beyond words, very professional and extremely helpful in making sure everything was perfect. He helped in selections and he even went online to see what might compare to the in store choice we made just to ensure we were getting all we wanted. I'm speechless at the lengths he went to for us. If anyone else had come in to the store, that could have been problematic as there would have been a wait but, luckily enough, a second sales person arrived and the store got very busy. Love their seafood. We wait until a 50% off sale in the Boca location and fill the freezer. Great sales, buy one get one or two free. Their scalloped and stuffed potatoes are also great and everything goes from the freezer into the air fryer. read more

I ordered my entire Christmas dinner from here & just called (Christmas eve) to check on my order and they said sorry we won't be fulfilling all of our orders til after the New year! No notice, no email, no nothing! Disgusted with this company, not to mention the lady on the phone acted as if she could care less and was coughing into the phone like she was dying! Every time that I have been to this store I have had absolutely zero problems, I don't know what people expect, maybe they need their hands held tighter during their visit. Decent selection and would have liked to have made a purchase this afternoon. An employee was engaging an elderly group of women and opening all boxes of interest. Instead of excusing himself for just a moment, he continued to assist the group with questions on if the items were juicy, lean, or better than other options. It would have been nice if he would have taken a moment to ring us up. If customers are waiting 20 minutes just to make a purchase and there is only one employee (the other must have gone to lunch), then you risk losing business. I placed an order today for the crockpot special (Buy 4 crockpot meals and receive a free crockpot). Prior to making the purchase, I contacted Omaha and spoke to a representative who assured me that if I placed the order within the next 30 minutes, the recipient will receive the delivery tomorrow 03/01. I even explained to the representative the reason we were doing this, a co-worker had a loss in her family and we are trying to find the best way to cover her meals. I placed the order and shortly after received a call stating that the food will be delivered tomorrow but the crockpot will not be delivered until next week. This doesn't work for us, it is the reason we called prior to the purchase. I asked Trisha (the representative that contacted us) and she informed me that they have no contact with the crockpot company and wouldn't be able to help us either way. I explained to her that I received confirmation prior to making the purchase and maybe she can ask if anyone can contact the crockpot company. Trisha said no, there is no contact and then said we would need to cancel the order within the next 10 minutes or else we wouldn't be able to cancel. This is the first time we have used Omaha Steaks and will be the last time. I don't recommend this company to anyone. We were excited and a lot of the coworkers were even going to order meals in the future, depending on the recommendation from the recipient after experiencing the food. read more
