Instead of being rude about it like most would nowadays, we had a nice laugh and conversation. I always appreciate someone giving a smile instead of a scowl in response to an honest mistake! It goes a million miles further and, believe it or not, makes the food taste better! The atmosphere isn't going to be your Michelin style, clean cut and polished restaurant, and THANK GOODNESS! Being in Omaha for business seems to take the human out of you sometimes, but this place took me right back to the diners of my childhood. The duck confit, cheese curds, mayo, gravy, and gooseberry gastrique combination worked super well on top of the fries, because they altogether basically made it a gourmet dish that I had to eat with a fork.
