Great little place not far off 74. Stopped in on way to Wilmington. Although it's Italian, we got cheesesteak and a burger. All great. Hamburger really good and just the right size. Fries good, onion rings really good. The owner, Omar, was really nice and he took care of us. The other staff lady was dealing with admin stuff but she was nice too, seating us immediately and taking drink order. Atmosphere was nice, bathroom clean. I recommend. read more

Omar's is a fun little spot on the corner in Biscoe NC. We stopped in for lunch while passing through, choosing this over the chain fast food restaurants. There's outside eating to watch the town go by at the intersection of E. Main and S. Main streets. There are lunch specials, we ordered 2 strombolis w a drink for $17.99. The strombolis (vegetable for her, New York for me) were plenty big for lunch and left overs! They were yummy, def glad we stopped! Service was perfect. Ambiance was non existent due to to a family with 3 out of control very loud screaming kids. Glad I got my food to go. So the food was the worst. I mean awful. I think I have a black cloud over me when it comes to eating at restaurants. My boss gets the same pizza here once a week and it's great. I order the exact same pizza and mine was awful. It was way over cooked. I ordered extra cheese and I didn't see hardly any cheese. And it was soggy. I paid 22 dollars for a pizza that was awful. I would have been better off with cheap pizza from Walmart. Like I said the pizza is usually good but not today. I can't afford to throw my money away so I'm not taking anymore chances. Maybe they need a new weekend cook. And charging 99 cents for using a debit or credit card? That's just rude and not cool at all. Y'all's food ain't that good. read more

A great stop from the highway. They were nice enough to make a special dish for my mom who had hard dietary restrictions. The food was great though, can't complain about that! I only marked off 1 star because when we first walked in, nobody greeted us. Not sure if there is a bell on the door or something to know when customers walk in. I poked my head around the corner and saw 2 young girls next to a sign that one was drawing on. One girl looked at me and kinda smiled, didn't seem to work there. I then asked if they were open because it seemed I walked in on them getting ready for the evening. She said yes just sit anywhere. So we go to a table and she goes back to the girl with the sign and talks to her for another minute before she comes to our table to officially greet us. My mom even made a face as we waited for the menus and watched her stand next to her friend. Just a bit more attentive to the guests even if you aren't busy goes a long way. Got a small vegetarian stromboli. It was delicious, the bread and tomato sauce were especially tasty. It was not small to me, not that I' m complaining and I had over half to take home. The tea was also very good. Service was fine, too. Going back to check out the eggplant parmigiano and vegetarian lasagne. read more

My wife and I found this place one day while out and about. The atmosphere is that of a small town restaurant. There were two ladies working in the dining area when we visited. It seemed that the more experienced of the two did all the running and serving while the younger one didn't seem to do as much. The one server was great though. She had several tables seat themselves both inside and out but didn't seem to miss a beat. She was very efficient and we never did without. The pizza itself was pretty good for small town. The crust was thin but not soggy and the sauce and ingredients both were very good. I would definitely return when I'm in the area. read more

We got to the restaurant on a Friday evening. We decided to sit outside since that's what the kids wanted to do. They allowed us to seat ourselves. We had to ask the waitress to wipe down our table. Younger girl took our drink order and then an older waitress came behind her and said she would take our drinks and made it seem like the younger woman was incapable. Oh and the waitress kept handing me things over my kid's head... Food took a long while.... finally asked for a couple of boxes and some man came and delivered them then returned to his seat at the bar area. Overall the place had mediocre food (at best); management and wait staff could use a good pep talk by someone that knows how to run a restaurant. Hopefully it gets better. read more

We wanted pasta so we stopped in. Ended up getting the vegetarian pizza and it was delicious. But our favorite thing that we ordered was the fried mushroom appetizer...these weren't regular mushrooms. They must have been sent from the gods and baked in a batter of love and kindness. If you think I'm kidding, please order them. We also met the server Kristen who helped us pick our dishes when we were being indecisive. Despite the regulations due to quarantine, she was so friendly and kind. My girlfriend also really enjoyed her manicotti as well. Even though this place isn't the fanciest, the bathroom was clean and for such a large menu everything we ordered was up to par. I hope to come through Biscoe sometime again solely for the purpose of eating out on Omar's front porch once the quarantine regulations pass. It looks so cute with the string lights! read more

Where to start.....my order is never correct. Order a side and not only is is forgotten but it takes three calls just to get them to attempt to fix it. The manager's response to me was "what do you want me to do?" I'm paying for a service and I expect to receive what I'm paying for. Omar's has charged me for items and not delivered them numerous times. This place needs some leadership, and hold people accountable for their mistakes. read more

We've driven past many times and finally stopped in, very glad we did. Enjoyed a lovely shrimp Caesar salad, meat pizza, and probably one of the best calzones ever( minus ricotta which we just don't care for). Pizza crust was delicious and toppings were plentiful. Calzone was generously stuffed and meat sauce tasted fresh. The shrimp in the salad were perfectly grilled and good sized. Waitress was informative and proficient, very friendly and willing to customize our food to accommodate our preferences. We look forward to a return visit in the near future. I ordered shrimp alfredo while at work. When I received the delivery my alfredo was spilled in the bag and the metal container indented on the bottom. I was going to over look that but when I took a bite it tasted weird then I started using the fork to pick the pasta up and investigate and the alfredo sauce was slimy almost like snot. I called them and was treated like a liar. I told the owner to eat it himself. They did not refund my money. I would never eat here again nor would I recommend them. NASTY FOOD!!!
