I hate going to a salon that feels like a factory; one in, one out, with questionable attention to detail. Always the opposite here. It turned out I did like the cat eye shape after all so I kept it. But they charged me $15.00 more dollars for changing the shape! I was unaware there would be an additional charge and the technician didn't bother to tell me I would be charged for Changing the shape (He showed me the Cat Eye shape after shaping one (1) of my fingernails to show me what it looked like and I liked it.). Anyway since the cat eye did look good I decided to keep it. I had no idea that they would charged me $5.00 more dollars for an "Additional Different shape". Really???? Those two charges are really for the same thing! Then when checking out the credit card reader had 3 different amount for tips. The credit card reader gave me 3 high tip amounts starting at $11.25! I've Never had a salon try to dictate what I should give for a tip. The technician was good except he made 3 mistakes that he apparently didn't notice, they were small so I didn't notice these mistakes until I got home. I've decided to stick to my usual salon, I certainly will not go back to Top Q Nails.

Kelly was my technician and she did a fantastic job. She was meticulous in the preparation of my nails for polish. She gave a very relaxing foot and lower leg massage, as well. Her polish application was perfect and she gave each coat time to dry. The result was a mani/ pedi that should last for a long time. It's already been three days with a lot of gardening and dish washing, and my hands still look perfect. Usually several nails would be showing signs of wear by now. There is a parking lot and a parking deck where I found parking. It is upstairs. The facility is nothing fancy, the pedicure chairs are massage chairs. They have a TON of polish options both gel and not, so that was nice but I found the bottles to be sticky when searching for a color. I wasn't rushed when picking a color which was nice. It was HOT inside. It was an 81 degree day at the beginning of April so maybe they weren't prepared for that yet (they did have fans on) but I was extremely hot. They had the radio on so some commercials played, not constant music. I wasn't offered a drink or any beverages. The nail tech was rough on my nails and feet, there were several points I was uncomfortable and even wondered if I might bleed. I do have cuts on my toes after. She did do a thorough job with a nice leg massage including wax treatment. My nails looked really nice afterwards. It took about an hour for a gel pedicure.
