My experience was awesome in Vintage Nail Bar! Pim and Nancy did a great job doing my fingernails and toe nails! They were very pleasant, kind, and knew exactly how I wanted my nails to be done. I got a quote on yelp and had to pay 20 dollars more when I got there. Deluxe pedicure is a scam. Very bad pedicure. The callous removal is a joke. I still tipped well even tho they didn't earn it at all. She spent most of her time on my cuticles and heels are still very rough.

I was routed to Charlotte because of an airline problem. I had some time after my night in a not so great hotel, to have a manicure. I did a yelp search and found vintage nail salon. I had my first gel manicure, and it's great. I can't recommend this business enough. There are high ceilings and the air quality is terrific. The people are friendly, and I had a wonderful experience in the middle of a very bad experience of traveling. I will arrive in Europe for the destination wedding with beautiful nails! Had a great experience with Kati for a dip manicure. She was very friendly and great at her job. Took her time and did excellent work. I have short nails and she made them look great! And never complained that my nails were too short like other nail techs have. She also paid attention to me and didn't chat with her co-workers constantly like other salons. Such a nice experience with her. The salon itself was beautiful, clean and modern. The other staff were also just as friendly and kind. I am down here visiting my son, and will be back the next time I'm here in a couple months. Highly recommend Vintage Nail Bar.

I am new to the Charlotte area and faced with the task of finding a nail salon and technician in my new hometown that did a natural nail using builder gel. Previously, I'd been with my technician for 20+ years. I was referred to Vintage Nail Bar in Charlotte. Even though there were many salons closer to my new home, I went to see Steven based on this recommendation. I was not disappointed! He was so nice, friendly, and on time for my appointment. The salon was spacious and clean. My husband had a pedi with Vin and said he was great, too. There was another technician there, Pim, who seemed so kind - always smiling at incoming customers. I understand she does a great job with builder gel and will try her, too, in case Steven isn't available. For reference I am over 60 years young () and wanted a natural looking nail, thin on the sides and top. I'm so happy to have found this nail salon! read more

This was my first time in for a mani/ pedi. I asked for regular nail polish, but a lot of people were getting gel. The salon was super clean. Kelly was my technician and she did a fantastic job. She was meticulous in the preparation of my nails for polish. She gave a very relaxing foot and lower leg massage, as well. Her polish application was perfect and she gave each coat time to dry. The result was a mani/ pedi that should last for a long time. It's already been three days with a lot of gardening and dish washing, and my hands still look perfect. Usually several nails would be showing signs of wear by now. I'm super happy and will definitely be back soon. I may have found my new "go-to" nail salon. Note: the place was busy on this Thursday afternoon. I'm glad I had an appointment. read more

First time there. Went based on Yelp reviews and I had a great experience. They were able to fit me in which I appreciated. Simple manicure for me. They had all the latest OPI colors I love. Kelly did my nails and was great with the details. She was also very kind and funny. Everyone seemed to be nice as well. I would definitely go back when on that side of town. read more

I was visiting from out of town and decided to find a place to get a pedicure close to my hotel. I decided to give Vintage Nail Bar a try. I walked in and noticed it was empty. I stood at the counter and was greeted by two male staff members. The younger male technician told me to choose which fragrance pack and package I wanted. He then walked over to me, explained everything more clearly, and directed me where to sit. One thing I noticed was that it looked like a typical nail salon, but it wasn't anything extraordinary. The one I go to, where I'm from, is very classy, and the decor is unlike that of a typical nail salon. Very grand. I also noticed that there were no jets where you soak your feet. I'm not certain whether Tammy, my technician, didn't turn them on or if they didn't have them. Nonetheless, I didn't see them in the soaking bowl. Tammy greeted me and got started. She emptied the fragrance I selected into the water. She didn't stir it around or anything, which is why I believe the bowls didn't have jets. Tammy didn't talk to me much. She only responded to me when I asked her something. She was more focused on every text message that kept dinging her phone while she was talking on it, basically the entire time I was in the chair. He talked to me and made sure I was ok while my feet were drying, since the other male technician told Tammy to take care of a walk-in. Only two people came in to get their mani/pedi. That was very weird to me. Another older lady came in who works there. She was very kind and seemed genuine about my level of comfort. She asked if I wanted something to drink, and I told her no. I cannot say I will ever return there next time I'm in Charlotte, and I do not recommend this place. read more

The setting, parking, people, service, and SKILL make this one an easy 5-star. Stephen was great. My nails had fully grown out under a set of Gel-x and he carefully soaked my nails and used builder so I didn't need artificial anything. I made an inquiry through Yelp about fixing my overly thick and lopsided acrylic nails that I had done at an out of state salon. They were quick with the response and Pim hooked me up! The salon was very clean and the other staff was equally friendly. Pim was friendly, efficient, and did such an amazing job that I found my new salon. Pim doesn't do acrylic but, she did an amazing job straightening out the mess I had gotten elsewhere and I would definitely recommend her for manicure and pedicure services! read more

I went in to get just a regular mani and pedi, no color. I ended up paying $93 for just a simple removal and lotion. Absolutely ridiculous. The workers seemed pissed when I told them what I needed done, and tried to upsell me the entire time I was there. rubbed my arm so hard with the lotion, my skin didn't even absorb it. go down the street to Luxury Nails for full mani pedi at half the price. unbelievable read more

Heather restored my lips, neutralized the dark pigment & left me with a beautiful natural pink shade that looks better than natural but no one would ever know they were permament makeup. I've been there several times now, and every single lady I've had has done a great job. It's not just one person in particular. They all seem skilled, friendly, and efficient. It's located in Dilworth in the shopping center with the Harris Teeter. I really like that area because there's plenty of parking and a bunch of other little shops around there too. After more than 20 sugaring services, this is not based on the quality of the providers, but due to the owner's short-sighted policies around their own "customer loyalty" program. When I recently presented my completed loyalty card for the advertised 50 percent discount, I was informed it could only be redeemed with the original provider, who no longer works there. That restriction was not communicated when the card was issued (nor is it printed on the card), and customers have no control over staff turnover. Staff contacted the owner, Kristen, who decided chose not to honor the promotion. While the providers I had, (Nou and Kait) were consummate professionals, the ownership seems to lack focus on customer satisfaction and retention. I happily supported a small business, holding up my side of the equation and expected the owner to do the same. Apparently my loyalty was not a priority and I will take my business elsewhere.

Then in September 2023 she sent an email about scheduling for 2024 and I had to schedule immediately (and pay) for the next year because she said that appointments were almost full. My then 92 year old uncle only wanted every other month appointments so I paid $620 for 2024. Unfortunately, my uncle died before using his 2024 appointments. Although Melissa asked me to give her two months for a refund, which I did, and she sent me a photo of the refund precessing a month ago - still no refund and only long, dramatic diatribes instead from her. This was my experience and I would not recommend this company and would not want other customers to fight for refunds and deal with all of this nonsense. I believe she just got back from a month long vacation which makes it worse. I hope this helps others who may be thinking of using her services.

I had such a wonderful experience here! I came in for a gel manicure and pedicure and was impressed from start to finish. They offered me a beverage right away, which was a nice touch, and the massage chairs made the pedicure extra relaxing.
