I was staying at the Homewood Suites and found this nail salon to be extremely convenient and within walking distance. Upon entering, I was greeted by the manager and advised that I wanted a manicure with gel polish. Sofi provided my service. During the first several minutes, she repeatedly tried to persuade me to switch to acrylic or SNS, despite my clearly and consistently stating that I did not want those services. Additionally, she appeared frustrated when I changed my mind about my polish color. As a customer, I believe I have the right to adjust my color choice--especially when the original color was not fully available or sealed. What was most concerning was that Sofi began speaking about me to the manager in their language during my service. I understood the conversation and had to address both of them directly, advising that it was inappropriate to discuss me while my manicure was still in progress. This was very unprofessional and uncomfortable. Although I paid and tipped, I will not be returning. I hope this serves as a reminder for the business to be mindful of how they speak about customers--especially since you never know who may understand the language. read more

Absolutely love this spot! Prices are decent,service is great, and it's clean! Only thing I don't like is they don't have a gel manicure and pedicure combo but other combos are a great price especially for this area. Hannah was amazing. I was in NC for a wedding. I came here with a bridal party to get my nails done on May 2nd. 24 days later, my nails are absolutely perfect. I start my rating at a 3. An establishment will receive 3 stars for doing their job. As a nail salon they did my nails. I don't remember the tech's name. The entire staff was very patient and friendly. I ended up getting the SNS dipping powder. I hardly ever do my nails. But the last time I had them done (not at this salon), it was with gel polish. It's supposed to last longer etc. I got 8 days out of that. Since we were there for a bridal party, they even had mimosas and champagne for us. Add 1 star for a total of 4. The final star is for the fact that my nails are still perfect. NO chipping. NO peeling. NO breakage. I think I will start doing my nails regularly with the SNS dipping powder. read more

Amazing nail salon. The downfall is that you usually HAVE to have an appointment because they are so busy. I've been coming here for a while now and usually make a Saturday or Sunday appointment with no difficulty. I've seen them turn people away because they were too busy and the customer didn't have an appointment. I was able to do a walk in on a Monday this week after calling to see if they could take me without an appointment. Don did a great job with my pedicure! He is very meticulous and the best nail tech I've ever had. I always want to use him from now on. I'd been having some pain in both of my great toes and he was able to fix it for me. I bring my own polish but they have a great selection of SNS, gel, and regular polish. There prices recently went up about $5 per service which is a bummer but I understand it has to happen because of inflation. If you need a mani or pedi this is the place to go to! I went here to get a pedicure and the SNS which is the dip powder pedicure. The gentleman did a lovely job on my pedicure. He took is his time and kept checking on me to see if he was putting to much pressure on me when he was doing my foot massage. The place was clean. And they offered me a drink when I got into the chair. I denied but it was nice for them to offer. I felt like they had good customer service. The gentleman and I held a conversation and we joked around. Sometime when I go to some place to get a pedicure they employees don't speak to the customers they just do the work. The gentleman completed my dip powder nails as well and his did a good job. I ended up getting a French manicure with the dip powder. It came out good. I will be coming back. The only thing I didn't like was after I got my nails done and they dried I wish they had some lotion out for me to moisturize my hands after. read more

I've busted this area for food on several occasions and didn't realize that there was a nail salon here. A huge hand clap for the level of kindness and professionalism my friend and I experienced here at Pureluxe. The repeat customers were extremely comfortable here. We went on a Wednesday everting and we're taken care of right away. I even apologetically changed my mind about the service I wanted to receive midway through the process, and the individuals attending to me assured me that everything was fine. As far as nail salons go I'll be adding this one to my favorites list...especially once we transition back into the office since it's so close to many office buildings (including mine). I love this salon, visit regularly! Every two weeks to be exact. This past week, for some odd reason two of my nails peeled about an hour after I left the salon, I was frustrated because I was heading out of town for the weekend. I called, spoke to the owner and he was beyond accommodating, told me to come back whenever I was available and they would take care of me. This has never happened before and the fact that he was so apologetic and accommodating means he will forever have my business. I recently bought a Groupon for a pedicure here, so I decided on Saturday that it was time to use it. I checked out the terms of the deal, and they require an appointment, so I called to see if they could get me in right away, and thankfully, they could. So I drove straight over and was taken back right away. The pedi was pretty standard. I forgot to ask on the phone if they could also do a gel mani, and of course they said yes. Unfortunately, the were rather busy, so after my pedi was over, they sent me back up front so another nail tech could do my mani. The guy doing my mani did an ok job, but he was distracted several times, which made me feel that he wasn't really focused on what he was doing. The shop was clean and had a good selection of OPI regular and gel polishes. They also had cute little "bear" pedi chairs for the little ones. Overall, my experience was ok, but I must say that I was disappointed when I got home and saw that I already had a chip in the nail polish on my big toe (I wore flip-flops and did not put shoes on at all, so I was surprised to have an issue so quickly.) So far my fingernails look good, but we will have to wait and see how long the gel mani lasts. Hopefully, it will last the standard 2 weeks... I will write an update once I see how long it does last. Also, the Groupon I bought was for 2 pedis, and I was a bit nervous when they marked my online voucher as "redeemed" despite the fact that I only used one of my 2 pedis. I will also write an update when I go back for my second pedi if I have any trouble redeeming the second pedi. read more

I tried this nail salon this week due to the exceptional reviews it receives. It was a great experience. Very professional staff and they aim to please. Prices are very reasonable compared to other salons. The salon is extremely clean and comfortable. They sterilize their nail equipment that's used on the clients which I like. It's probably best to make an appointment to assure no wait , but they do take walk-ins. I had one person do my manicure and someone else do my pedicure. I especially liked my SNS manicure done by Linda. She is a perfectionist and I will be asking for her next time. Everybody seems really good , but I just liked the way Linda was so detailed. Wish I had an actual experience to talk about. I walked in and yes I understand Saturday's get busy before I began. I was approached and asked what I needed and after I told her she begin talking in another language to another person and then totally walked away from me. No further interaction. I left after standing there another 10 minutes with no one saying anything. Their lost of money not mine but I will take my business elsewhere where I'll be treated appropriately! I'm a long-time customer of over 5 years and I've never experienced such disregard toward consistent clientele as I have the past two months. I've made appointments weeks in advance only for Andy to call and ask me to come later. Upon arrival, I continue to wait over an hour, with walk-ins being taken in front of me. Andy is unable to provide a reason as to why but this has now happened on more than one occasion. What saddens me most, is that my daughter and I had a back to school appointment (made a week in advance) and again he asked me to come later only for us to be arrive at the same time as a party of 4. Of course he and his wife catered to the party of 4 whose appointment was 45 minutes after ours. I let me daughter proceed with her services and canceled mines. Don did my nails and toes and he did an amazing job seriously one of the best mani/pedis I've ever gotten and I've gone to a lot of nail salons for the simple reason that I'm never happy with my nails and the service I receive at other salons. The staff was very sweet! Don took his time on the "basic pedi" I got. I also loved that someone wasn't doing my mani and someone else doing my pedi at the same time making me move my arm across my chest and have the UV light sitting on my lap. Ah! I want to relax! I love getting my manicure and pedicure at Pureluxe Nails year round. Andy, the owner is friendly, kind and always greets all customers warmly. He recognizes me when I call to schedule an appointment and knows what services I'm calling to schedule. Although, Appointments are not required I always schedule my manicure and pedicure with Don. He is very knowledgeable, patient and does his job very well. If I come in on Don's day off - all of the other staff members also perform top notch work. The entire staff is very compassionate. I bring my mother to the salon with me for pedicures. She's older, so she walks slower and is recuperating from surgery. They have always treated her gently, listened to her concerns and carefully walked her over to her chair for her pedicure. Andy always checks in with her to make sure that she is comfortable.
