I started with Invisalign a couple of months ago. I do not live in the country so I advised them to let the dentist know and we both came up with a timeline for me to return. I had some medical appointments in March 2025 so we scheduled (text below) that time. I get a call about not having an appointment a few days before my appointment. I was then told I would get a call to let me know if the dentist would be at that location. If not, she would tell me where to meet. I received a call today, while sitting at the appointment location and was told the dentist was not there and she called me beforehand to let me know. I did not receive a call. She told me she would reach out to the dentist to contact me to revise my changes. I have not received a call. So I am thinking, I paid cash up front and I get this type of subpar service. There were signs but they were subtle signs. I should have read the reviews. My question to her was why had I not received a text or voicemail when they first knew the dentist would not be there? Omega Dental on West Gray do not apologize because I leave the states in three days and I am stuck with less than three weeks of replacements. The quality of care is disappointing. During my daughter's braces removal at Omega Dental, a filling from a prior injury--placed over 10 years ago--was damaged, leaving her with a chipped tooth. The technician who worked on her assured us it would be repaired at no cost. However, when we returned, they reversed course and insisted she pay out-of-pocket, claiming that's not what was meant. This feels dishonest and unprofessional. What appeared to be an affordable option has turned into a disappointing and costly experience. Between the inconsistent communication and questionable billing practices, I can't recommend Omega Dental in good faith. Wonderful, excellent and amazing service. I went on Friday for four implants and bone graft. Wow the care and service provided was amazing. My doctor and staff "Dr: Sharon Farhadian" were the best so caring. The sedation process was flawless I promise this is the place to go. While in procedure they kept my family informed. I don't like to go to the dentist because of past awful experiences and this place change my perception of going to the dentist. From the first moment you go in for consult to the date of service no problem what so ever. I promise I am not getting paid for this review. And the financing the pricing very workable. This office needs serious and immediate customer service training, particularly for the assistant that oversaw my case and the front office staff. They were not helpful in explaining to me next steps for my procedure. My biggest complaint was that my doctor was not available to answer any questions and left immediately after the procedure.I tried asking the assistant who was there for the root canal and he got defensive when I asked him the timeline for healing for some reason. When I called to clarify next steps on transferring instructions to another dentist, they put me on hold for 20 minutes and forgot about me. I called back again and only then did she get up and ask the doctor to explain the instructions to my other dentist. Her responses were short and rude. Please consider some customer facing training as this was a horrible experience. read more

I've had some kind of appointment hiccup every time I've come here. The actual cleaning itself is great. Office is clean. Receptionist forgot to mark me as checked in so I waited 30 minutes before they realized their mistake. Another time I tried calling to confirm my appointment since I never got a courtesy text on my way to the office. Was on hold for so long I got to the office and was STILL on hold, just to find out they never booked me for my cleaning. So frustrating. read more

I recently had osseous surgery and two extractions with Dr.Farhadian and Lalli. Time and maintenance will determine the success of the surgery. However, the comprehensive exam, surgery and transparency of cost are on par, if not better, than most of the places I have dealt with. As a first timer here, I do recommend them. read more

They were very transparent on everything I had going on with my teeth and let me know how it would be taken care of, even with the assistance of my mother. The only thing that caught me off guard was being told after getting work done that I'd have to go to my dentist and get more work done which I wasn't warned about before. My initial impression was, "pricey, but good service". With insurance, I was able to see the pros outweighed the cons at the time. Unfortunately, over a year later, and without another visit to this dentistry, I have to change my opinion. 13 months after our visit to Omega (today, Sept. 15th, 2021) a representative called me stating my account was past due, and will be turned over to collections. In the future, I would suggest utilizing the, "your account will go into collections" tactic on the 2nd or 3rd follow-up call rather than the 1st phone call a patient receives... after 13 months from the date of service. Furthermore, a disclosure that a patient's portion may be subject to change due to their insurance coverage at the time of treatment would likely help avoid this sort of confusion. I've paid the amount in full (as of today), and would like to make a point of stating the issue was not the amount due, but the way I was approached. What I find absolutely baffling is that I was in communication with this office February 2021 when I had them fill forms out for school enrollment, and again when they reached out to me in regard to my family's follow-up appointments at which time I mentioned our relocation to the representative that called me. No mention was made of this balance at either time. Collection efforts have not been made before today as far as I know. So, to recap, hygienists and dentists were actually pretty awesome, office was beautiful and clean at the time of our visit, but I will never recommend this business again simply because of the cost of their services and billing department. read more

Came in for a veneer consultation and a dental check up. Had a cleaning done , office staff was amazing and doctor Bohluli was awesome

Their waiting game is strong. Went in for my 9am appointment and was still waiting at 9:45am. I waited because I canceled the other endodontist appt and was in full regret. And needed to see someone quick. So Dr Bohluli did apologize for the wait and explained that they took me and another patient in the wrong order. Didn't make things that much better but I appreciated the apology. Experience: was pretty great. The dental hygienist (a nice young guy) was efficient and very professional. Dr Bohluli was very calming and explained everything in detail. He did a root canal and it was painless and fairly quick. Technology. The most advanced dental practice I've been in. They were very organized and sanitary. Afterwards he showed me the clean tooth and prescribed some meds. The office is very modern. The staff was fairly friendly. Overall except for the wait, I would def recommend Dr Bohluli if you need an endodontist. read more

I had my first appointment at Omega before COVID hit and I told myself I would not visit the office ever again. I was at this dental office for over 2 hours before I left. Never have I had to wait that long for a simple dental visit (cleaning). This place is definitely about volume and not customer service, in my opinion. Today, December 9, 2020, I have called their office 10 times and all I get is an answering machine. I was calling them to ask them about the status of my dental records being emailed to me so that I can take them to my former dentist whom I should have stayed with. I called them two days ago and said they would be emailed to me on 12/8/2020, I rarely write a negative review because often times I overlook things but their customer service is below par. I work in the legal field and deal with clients all of the time. So I understand how clients should be treated. Needless to say, I will not be visiting this dental office again. read more

So far, so good! I went in for a wisdom tooth extraction- two molars! I am a very nervous patient when it comes to being in a dentist's chair so planning to get my wisdom teeth extracted was a high anxiety situation for me. I was very worried when going to my initial visit and consultation, up until I met my oral surgeon, Dr. Samira Thompson! Dr. Thompson went over my X-rays with me and presented me with options for the extraction and explained the issues with my wisdom teeth. I felt very comfortable making the decision to go with Omega Dental for my extraction. Today was my surgery day and I am happy to report that the procedure went well. The doctor and staff made me feel comfortable as they prepared me for the procedure. I was given a blanket to stay warm and the dental assistants took my vitals and hooked me up to the machines for monitoring while under sedation. The surgeon prepped me for IV Sedation and I was asleep during the whole procedure! I strongly suggest IV Sedation if you're nervous in a dentists's chair. I woke up with very minimal pain and 8 hours later, still minimal pain. The numbing has wore off completely and I'm taking all of the meds that the dr prescribed (not Tramadol though, my pain is not at a level where I would need it). Thank God! I would absolutely recommend any of my friends and family to Omega and I would especially recommend they see Dr. Thompson. Now I'm hoping my payment for service to Omega and my insurance benefits work out properly so that my out of pocket cost isn't so high. I did read a few reviews on here where they had issues with payments and insurance so I'm hoping I don't run into that problem. We shall see. I did also notice that people complained about wait times for their appointments on here, and I did also have a long wait time the day of my initial visit which was a Saturday. I think i waited over an hour and 30 minutes. However, didn't mind waiting so long because I do know how difficult it is to find a good dental office that's open on Saturdays, and it's even more difficult to find one with oral surgeons available on a Saturday. Just pack your patience and know it's worth the wait. The day of my surgery I did not wait long at all. I filled out the usual consent forms that they give you before a procedure and they called me back at my scheduled surgery time. It was a stress free experience the day of my surgery. Now I'm praying for no complications from the extraction, like dry sockets! I will continue to update as needed! Thank you Omega! Many many thanks and praise to Dr. Thompson! read more

I waited 45 minutes for an orthodontist to come look at my bite for quite literally 1 second and tell give me recs on Invisalign, as I was sitting in an open chair next to someone else (no private room). I was on time for my appointment. I understand busy clinics but the staff clearly was overwhelmed and stressed. Pricing was ridiculous much higher than another orthodontist I saw quoted me for. I just moved to the area and I saw they were open on Saturdays, which is always nice with my work schedule! I called and was able to get an appointment the very next day! The staff was super nice and they helped with my electronic paper work and checked on me throughout the visit. I had Dr. Ali as my doctor and he was very nice and explained everything to me for my treatment. I was able to talk to the financing lady and get many options to go through and think over. I got my braces done here. They see you quickly when you walk in at your appointment time. It would be 5 stars if they would stick with the schedule. Originally I was to see them on a Thursday every 4 weeks. One time there was a 6 week gap in between visits, & the even changed it to Tuesdays for a few months, then back to Thursday. Main positive, they work with you when it comes to payments. My braces were $5000. I paid $4000 up front before they got started, and they let me wait until the next year to pay the rest off so that I could use my FSA Visa which lets me put $2650 max per year on it with my money before taxes. read more

The management and Lady that walks you through pricing at this dental office is trash.. the manager allowed the payment lady to lie directly to his face about my case with absolutely no repercussion. they tried to cover up a gross financial error on their part and instead of just admitting they screwed up they tried to make it seem as if it was my fault. when I asked the manager what was he going to do about it, he looked at me with a blank stare and said nothing. I do not recommend. Their office does appear to be nice and clean but they're unorganized, too many front desk workers that are not on the same page. They over charge and not be upfront on what your insurance is covering at least for me. they kept changing numbers when I arrived early for my appointment. Then they push to get credit then charge work they didn't work on. I had high hopes and now have pay on something I didn't get work on and I still need to fix my teeth. read more
