When I arrived at her gravesite, I was saddened to find that her marker was dirty and covered with dirt and grass. I asked one of the Rose Hills employees for assistance. He told me that someone had already been called to help, but after waiting 15-20 minutes, no one came. Because I didn't feel that he was being truthful, I took a picture of the truck as it drove away. A short time later, Alejandro came over and kindly asked if we needed assistance. Ironically, he was in the same truck that had previously been there. Despite the extreme heat, Alejandro took the time to help us with kindness, professionalism, and compassion. While it was disappointing that the first employee was unwilling to assist us, I want to publicly recognize and thank Alejandro for his outstanding customer service.
